‘Smart People Don’t Say This’: Donald Trump Brags He Has ‘Common Sense,’ Then Proves the Opposite In the Most Embarrassing Way

News - Wed, 08/27/2025 - 18:51

President Donald Trump is publicly denying he’s a dictator, casting himself instead as “a smart person” with “common sense” while defending his federal takeover of the Washington D.C. police department. But his follow-up comments only raised more eyebrows, fueling fresh questions about what he really meant.

Trump, speaking from the Oval Office, told reporters, “A lot of people are saying, ‘Maybe we’d like a dictator.’”

What Trump really seems to be upset about is that he isn’t getting the praise he thinks he deserves for his plans and efforts at reducing crime.

He’s been threatening to send federal troops into Baltimore and Chicago after sending the National Guard into Los Angeles earlier this summer to help quell protests over immigration arrests and deportations without state officials’ approval.

The threats have sparked a war of words with California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore and Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker.

“So, I’m thinking about, you know, when I have some slob like Pritzker criticizing us before we even go there, I made the statement that next should be Chicago because as you all know Chicago’s a killing field right now and they don’t acknowledge it. And they say we don’t need him, freedom, freedom, he’s a dictator. He’s a dictator,” Trump lamented to reporters.

Smart people don’t say they’re smart.
People with common sense don't say they have common sense.
Honest people don’t say they’re honest.
Rich people don’t say they’re rich.
Successful people don’t say they’re successful.
They don’t have to.

He waxed on about the MAGA world, apparently, wanting a despot in charge, denying that he also wants that.

Fox News Pulls the Plug on Donald Trump As He Spirals Into Bizarre Speech About Washing His ‘Beautiful, Luxuriant Hair’

“A lot of people are saying maybe we’d like a dictator. I don’t like a dictator. I’m not a dictator. I’m a man with great common sense and I’m a smart person and when I see, uh, what’s happening to our cities and then you send in the troops instead of being praised, they say you’re trying to take over the Republic, uh, these people are sick,” Trump lashed out, repeating a falsehood he used repeatedly in recent weeks that cities in states run by Democrats are “put-of-control.”

However, the following day, Trump spoke in a manner reminiscent of a dictator, contradicting his claim to “common sense.”

“I have the right to do anything I want to do. I’m the president of the United States,” he said when talking recently about how dangerous Chicago is.

And as far back as Dec. 5, 2023, he was asked by Fox News personality Sean Hannity in front of an Iowa audience, “Under no circumstances, you are promising America tonight, you would never abuse power as retribution against anybody?”

The once and future president responded, “Except for day one. I want to close the border and I want to drill, drill, drill.”

His comments, “people say maybe we’d like a dictator,” sparked an uproar on social media.

One user had a full lesson from Trump on proclaiming his brilliance,

Smart people don’t say they’re smart.
People with common sense don’t say they have common sense.
Honest people don’t say they’re honest.
Rich people don’t say they’re rich.
Successful people don’t say they’re successful.
They don’t have to.

“If you’re ok with this then you absolutely do not believe in the constitution,” Matt DeLancey commented.

“Literally no one is saying, ‘maybe we’d like a dictator.’ Keep fucking around America. This dickhead is taking Project 2025 forward one step and day at a time. Keep sleeping on it… there’s plenty of time to wake up later,” Eye of Bass posted on X.

Trump sent federal troops into Washington in early August under the guise of reducing crime, but statistics from his own Justice Department show crime has been dropping in the nation’s capital for the past several years.

The original post by The Tennessee Holler showed only 7 seconds of Trump’s comments on a dictatorship, “And they say we don’t need him, freedom, freedom, he’s a dictator. He’s a dictator. A lot of people are saying maybe we’d like a dictator.”

That sparked as much outrage in the MAGA sphere as the comment about “maybe we’d like a dictator.”

“Show the whole clip. Stop trying to scare people,” this X user posted.

And another pointed out, “What was the very next sentence that he said? Why cut off the video so quickly after the comment?”

As far as his admission, the next day, one user said, “That sentence alone should set off alarm bells — Trump appears to elevate himself above both the law and the Constitution.”

“No, he doesn’t! He’s a big fat idiot and we need him GONE,” another user said.

“Is this real or AI-generated?” one user inquired.

‘Hope She Gets Nothing’: Bruce Willis’ Wife Sparks Outrage After Shocking Update on His Care Contradicts What She Said Before

News - Wed, 08/27/2025 - 18:45

Bruce Willis has been living a new normal since being diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, a language disorder, in 2022.

The actor no longer speaks and is seldom seen in public with caregivers. Updates often come from his ex-wife Demi Moore and their daughters, Rumer, 37, Scout, 34, and Tallulah, 31, in the form of heartfelt Instagram posts.

Now, in an in-depth interview with Diane Sawyer, Emma Hemming Willis, his current wife, has revealed shocking details about navigating his health challenges and the tough decision she has made as his caregiver.

Bruce Willis’ wife, Emma Hemming Willis, reveals the actor no longer lives in their home with small daughters, Mabel and Evelyn, after being diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia. (Photo: Emmahemmingwillis/Instagram.

Bruce, 70, and Emma, 47, married in 2009. The couple shares daughters Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11.

During the “Emma & Bruce Willis: The Unexpected Journey” taping, the author recalled first noticing subtle changes in his behavior. She said the “Die Hard” star “felt a little removed, a little cold, not like Bruce, who is very warm and affectionate.”

Before his diagnosis, she contemplated, “‘How can I remain in a marriage that doesn’t feel like what we had?’” But after learning of his condition, she did an overhaul of their lives, which included halting playdates and sleepovers at their home. “I isolated our whole family, and that was by design… That was a hard time,” she said.

Among “one of the hardest decisions” she made was moving Bruce into a one-story home, where he receives 24/7 care.

Emma shared that she always joins him for breakfast and dinner. Her admission, though, was met with mixed reactions from those who believe the living arrangement is “selfish and kinda heartless.”

“She could easily section off a part of the house just for Bruce, have it sound-proofed and also adapt it to his medical needs. He shouldn’t be isolated from his children,” argued one person in the comments section of People magazine’s article about Emma’s revelations. Others claimed Bruce is being “exploited.”

“Why can’t he just be left alone. Why all the interviews. She has enough money,” a naysayer quipped. Another said, “So he’s living away from his daughters and wife? What cruel wife would do this to him?”

A fourth commenter simply remarked, “Disgusting cling to relevance for his wife. I hope she gets nothing at all in the will.

Emma, however, has become recognized as an FTD activist. Her forthcoming book, “The Unexpected Journey,” delves into her being a caregiver navigating Bruce’s dementia. It hits shelves on Sept. 9.

‘Wow’: Tamron Hall Stuns with Revelation That Her Appearance Cost Her Job on the ‘Today Show’

News - Wed, 08/27/2025 - 17:37

Award-winning journalist and talk show host Tamron Hall is finally opening up about the controversial circumstances surrounding her exit from NBC’s morning show “Today.”

She was replaced by Megyn Kelly in the co-anchoring role she held from 2014 to 2017. Her time on “Today” made history, as she became the first African-American woman to co-host the show.

Hall was recently a guest on a live taping of Samantha Chatman’s new podcast, “I Made It, Mama,” where she claimed she was removed from her anchor position because she didn’t fit “the look” the network wanted.

“I was actually in Chicago, and I turned on the TV and they revealed they were hiring someone else,” said Hall, 54.

She went on to explain that after learning the news of her replacement, she immediately flew to the studio to “negotiate” her position with NBC executives.

“I said, ‘I have the highest ratings on MSNBC. “The Today Show,” third hour, ratings are up. We’re No. 1 in the time slot. I did this. I hosted this. I hosted that.'”

‘Do Not Pitch Us Your Black Clients’: Dr. Ian Smith Insinuates ‘Tamron Hall’ Show Doesn’t Want Black Experts on Except for Scandalous Topics

Regardless of the numbers and accolades, Hall revealed that her attempt to save her position was unsuccessful — as the network had already made its decision.

“I watched this man’s eyes glaze over. He wasn’t listening to me. And he kept making excuses,” she said.

Hall described a moment of realization, understanding that those in charge were “moving the goal post” and that she was “not going to kick again.”

“I left because I knew no matter what I said — the ratings, the accolades, the awards, the Emmys — it didn’t matter. They had determined they wanted a different look for that spot, and I wasn’t that look,” she revealed.

Speaking with conviction, Hall said realizing it was OK not to “sell her soul” opened the path for her to walk away and build success on her own terms.

The mom of one was replaced by attorney and political commentator Megyn Kelly, who was coming from a 13-year stint with Fox News. After hearing Hall’s remarks, fans couldn’t help but think the “look” the network wanted to go with was about more than just appearances.

“They wanted to give her spot to the Becky. But God has blessed her with her own show,” said one YouTube viewer.

Another viewer called out how this is a common practice with networks. “WOW!! I remember when this happened. I’m glad that Tamron stood up for herself. And that she’s still current and doing even better than before.”

“The person they replaced her with still didn’t work out. She was gone that quick. Tamarind had the last laugh,” declared this fan, mentioning Kelly only holding the co-hosting spot for 13 months.

During the same interview, Hall reflected on other moments in her career when her “look” was considered a barrier. She spoke about the difficult transition from her anchor role at WFLD in Chicago to joining MSNBC in 2007, where her short, pixie haircut drew criticism.

“I go on the national stage, and I read an article that says I was lazy because I had short hair,” she recalled with disbelief.

Hall admitted the criticism led her to grow out her hair in an attempt to be more palatable for viewers. But over time, she came to see that her personal evolution was about far more than appearance.

“If you allow people, they will make you not even recognize yourself. And I allowed a person that I did not even know to make me not recognize myself,” she said.

After acknowledging she was the “fool” for buying into the negativity, Hall then encouraged the audience to surround themselves with people who “love them as they are.”

Despite the obstacles, she has continued to thrive in television.

In 2019, she launched her self-titled talk show, “Tamron Hall,” on ABC, and has since built a program that reflects the diversity and voices that were often missing in her previous work with larger networks.

Since its debut, “Tamron Hall” has earned multiple prestigious accolades, including two Daytime Emmy Awards, a Gracie Award, and several NAACP Image Award nominations. In February 2025, the show — on which Hall also serves as executive producer — was renewed for its seventh season, thanks to its consistently high ratings.

Deadline reported on the renewal, noting that at the time, “Tamron Hall” was “among the top three most viewed syndicated talk shows on linear television among total viewers.” The outlet also shared a message from Hall, who credited her success to the unwavering support of her loyal audience, fondly known as the “Tam Fam.”

“It’s no secret I find inspiration in numbers. For many, the number seven represents a completion. For my team and I, season seven represents the continued growth of the show built by the Tam Fam… I am so excited to nurture and grow this special show with you.”

‘This Is Fake!’: Black Chef Who Built $5M Food Empire Sues Wells Fargo After Manager Refused to Cash His $20K IRS Check, Yelled at Him In Front of Customers, and Ordered Him Out

News - Wed, 08/27/2025 - 17:22

A Black celebrity chef is suing Wells Fargo Bank, alleging that employees at its metro Las Vegas branch falsely accused him of trying to cash a fraudulent check and then brusquely ordered him to leave the bank.

Shawn Davis  — also known as “Chef Big Shake” since his fame as a food business entrepreneur took off after a 2011 appearance on the reality TV show “Shark Tank” — was in Las Vegas visiting family on July 11 and made an appointment to set up a business bank account so he could cash a $20,403 U.S. Treasury check from the IRS made out to his business.

After meeting with a Wells Fargo business advisor, David Parra, at the Henderson, Nevada branch for 30 minutes, and sharing with him a variety of business documents, Parra stepped away from his desk and went to a private area of the bank for about 15 minutes, according to the lawsuit filed in Clark County District Court on Aug. 20 and obtained by Atlanta Black Star.

When he returned, Parra said, “We can’t take this check,” told Davis it was “fake” and accused him of committing the crimes of fraud and forgery, Davis told Atlanta Black Star.

Parra didn’t ask Davis for any supporting information to confirm the U.S. Treasury check’s legitimacy, the complaint says, but spoke to him in a way that “conveyed the assumption that [Davis] could not rightfully have received such a check due to [his] African American race.”

Davis demanded to speak to the branch manager, Georgia Bell, who appeared and, he says, also talked to him dismissively, telling him she had confirmed the check was fraudulent through “a special back line” to the IRS at the bank.

As Davis insisted that they were wrong and asked to speak to someone at the IRS, Bell and Parra repeatedly interrupted him, raised their voices, and spoke over him, he claims.

“I can’t help you,” Bell allegedly said, loudly, in front of other customers and employees. “This is a fake check, and it’s forged, and I need you to leave the bank.”

“I said, ‘Ma’am, I hope you’re not doing what I think you’re doing,” Davis says. “I said, ‘I have given you an opportunity to clear this up. Don’t do this. You’re being racist towards me. You’re discriminating against me because of what I look like.’”

“’No, I would never do that,’ she said. ‘I’ll never do that,'” Davis recounted. “I said, ‘Well, you’re doing it right now. Can you not give an explanation?’ … I got ready to say, ‘Call the cops,’ but then I told myself, ‘You know that if the cops come in here, they’re going to take me to jail because she said I committed fraud. That’s not going to solve anything.’ So, I left.”

Davis says he drove his car down the block, parked, and then “became super-duper emotional, trying to understand what had just happened to me,” breaking down in tears.

A serial entrepreneur, Davis, 55, has run a series of restaurants and food businesses since he was a teen chef in Long Island, New York. Though the investors on “Shark Tank” didn’t bite on his shrimp burger business, others did, and he sold his food products in thousands of stores. He also opened a chain of Nashville hot chicken restaurants, bringing in $5 million in annual revenues at one point.

Davis has showed off his culinary skills in guest appearances on TV shows including Rachael Ray, Man vs. Food on the Travel Channel, CNN, and The Today Show, and has enjoyed being a minor celebrity chef. So it was jarring to be “treated like a criminal and ordered to leave” the bank, he said.

When he returned to his hometown of Tampa a week later, Davis, a longtime Wells Fargo customer, went to a bank branch there and opened a business account, depositing the U.S. Treasury check with no issue, he says.

Bank employees assured him the check was valid and told him that Wells Fargo has no direct line to the IRS. They also told him that in reviewing their system, the Nevada branch had not created a business account for him beyond entering his first and last name.

The Nevada Wells Fargo employees had taken the initiative to file and investigate a complaint on his behalf, without his knowledge, the lawsuit says. He learned on July 24 via email from the bank’s complaints management office that the matter was closed and they had determined that no wrongdoing had occurred at the Henderson branch by any employee.

“And that’s when I started getting angry, more than upset, that I was taken advantage of, that I needed to pursue legal action,” he said. “I feel assaulted mentally. I feel less than a person. … I feel like sh–, to be honest with you, that somebody would take it upon themselves to be the judge and the jury, because it felt like it that day, to not go through normal protocol, but to take it upon themselves to accuse me of a crime, with no basis for it, and to lie to my face while they did it.”

Davis has been undergoing therapy since the “hostile and discriminatory encounter” in the bank, the lawsuit says. The traumatic experience underscores “his anguish over the reality that his children and grandson may one day be subjected to the same degrading assumptions and treatment.”

“My grandson is two and a half years old,” Davis said. “I could not live with myself if I didn’t do anything before I left this earth to protect him in any kind of way, at least for people to understand what’s out there that this type of thing still exists. It needs to be dealt with. You know, you’re harming people. I have a reputation. I’ve done everything I thought I can do in life to take the right direction and the right steps, to make the right moves, to become successful at what I was doing as an entrepreneur, and then to be halted, from someone who doesn’t know me and just looked at me and made a choice — it’s outrageous.”

The lawsuit accuses Wells Fargo, Parra, and other unnamed employees at the bank of racial discrimination by depriving him of equal enjoyment of services, facilities and privileges in a place of public accommodation, defamation, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress, in violation of Nevada law.

He seeks a jury trial to determine general, special, punitive and exemplary damages of at least $50,000 to compensate him for violating his rights and for emotional distress, humiliation and reputational harm.

A corporate spokesperson for Wells Fargo National Association, the nation’s fourth-largest bank, declined to comment on the lawsuit. The bank and the other defendants in the case have 20 days to file a response to the complaint after they are served.

‘Can’t Believe People are Condoning This’: Florida Teacher Under Fire After Video Shows Him Body Slamming Teen Girl During Musical Chairs, Leaving Her with Broken Ribs and Concussion

News - Wed, 08/27/2025 - 13:00

A viral video showed how a friendly game of musical chairs between students and teachers at a Florida high school went awry when a teacher body slammed a student just to win the game.

The game took place at a pep rally at Westside High School in Jacksonville, Florida, on Aug. 22.

A clip posted to TikTok shows the musical chairs game winding down to the last two players — a male teacher and 16-year-old student, Nyla Millikin.

The two are seen circling the chair, and as soon as the music stops, Millikin grabs the seat and plants herself in it.

Unwilling to give Millikin the victory, the teacher grabs her out of the chair and tackles her to the floor. Then, runs back to the seat to sit down to claim the win for himself before running through the gymnasium to celebrate.

Two staff members were seen helping Millikin off the floor afterward.

“He was a little too close to me from the beginning, from behind. So when the music stopped, you know how somebody pulls the chair and runs? I did that, sat down, then he ran after me, picked me up, and then slammed me,” Millikin told WJXT.

The video drew mixed reactions from viewers. Some people thought that even though the teacher was determined to win the game, he didn’t intend to harm the teen.

“It was his competitive spirit, it got the best of him,” one person wrote on Instagram.

“Nah come on he did not mean to hurt her smh but they finna drag it,” someone else commented.

Others argued that he crossed the line and condemned his behavior entirely.

“I can’t believe people are condoning this and deducing his behavior to playful. Are y’all alright?” one person argued.

“Everyone is saying he’s a good guy, or he didn’t mean to. How you unintentionally pick a person up & slam them to the ground. OVER A GAMEEEEE ! He shouldn’t never even touched her to begin with,” one TikTok viewer wrote.

Millikin said that she suffered a concussion and bruised ribs after the game.

“I think I have it all in a blur. I don’t remember, but I do remember, like, why am I on the ground? And I was thinking like, I’m on the ground, like I shouldn’t be on the ground this hard,” Millikin said.

Millikin’s mother said the teacher went too far and recalled that her daughter came to her crying at the end of the school day after what happened.

“I want justice to be done, because ain’t no teacher should be that close to a student they didn’t know,” Joanna Millikin said. “Nobody should even have to come or even have to deal with their kid going to the emergency room just for a teacher tackling their student over on the ground over musical chairs.”

Following a constructive conversation with the school principal about the teacher’s actions, Millikin’s mother reported that the school immediately enforced measures to address the incident.

The school district released a statement confirming that the teacher “has been reassigned to duties without student contact while the district’s Office of Professional Standards investigates.”

The teacher’s identity is currently unknown. At present, he’s not facing charges.

There’s another video reportedly circulating that shows the teacher pushing another student earlier in the game before he faced off with Millikin.

‘You Can’t Make This Up’: Donald Trump Reveals the One Thing That Could Get Him Fired as President Then He Does It

News - Wed, 08/27/2025 - 11:30

President Donald Trump’s latest Cabinet meeting turned into another media spectacle when his comments about Attorney General Pam Bondi sparked widespread criticism across social media platforms. The 79-year-old commander in chief is once again making headlines not for policy discussions, but for his brash remarks about a woman in his world.

The incident unfolded during the seventh Cabinet meeting of the year, where Trump was holding court on Aug. 26 in the newly redecorated Cabinet room, according to the Daily Beast.

As he meandered through various topics before landing on Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, the undisciplined president couldn’t help but say something that even he thought might have crossed the line.

‘Someone Call HR’: Donald Trump Tries Praising Kristi Noem with Pet Name In Public But Sets Off Social Media Firestorm Instead

The awkward moment began when Trump launched into commentary about Schumer’s appearance, noting how the Democratic leader “looks like he’s aged 100 years.” Attempting to pivot from his critique, Trump declared that “looks don’t mean anything” in politics before immediately contradicting himself.

Trump: I look at Pam and I would never say she was beautiful because that would be the end of my political career pic.twitter.com/B5ybr0QzoL

— Acyn (@Acyn) August 26, 2025

Gesturing toward the 59-year-old Attorney General seated across the table, he delivered the line that would spark widespread backlash: “I look at Pam. I would never say she’s beautiful, because that’s gonna be the end of my political career.”

The comment prompted nervous laughter from Cabinet members present, but the reaction online was far less forgiving. Social media users quickly dissected the president’s words, with many expressing disgust at what they perceived as deeply inappropriate behavior.

“Why is ‘beautiful’ the first thing that comes to Trump’s mind when discussing a blonde woman who is the Attorney General of the United States of America?” one user questioned, reflecting broader frustration with Trump’s persistent tendency to reduce women to their physical attributes in professional settings. A second person scoffed, “You can’t make this up.”

Another critic wrote, “Hired them for their looks, since Melania doesn’t measure up,” while someone else observed, “Creepy. Trump thinks calling a woman ‘beautiful’ would end his career. It’s not charm. It’s insecurity wrapped in sleaze.”

The sentiment captured widespread discomfort with the president’s troubling approach to discussing female colleagues.

“Everyone just laughs. Sad”

“And they giggle.”

“The fake laughing have some shame.”

”So painful to watch.”

The three-hour-and-sixteen-minute meeting covered an extensive range of topics, from pharmaceutical pricing to artificial intelligence initiatives.

Critics were quick to point out that this latest incident fits into a disturbing pattern of behavior that spans decades.

The controversy intensified when similar comments about White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt resurfaced from a recent Newsmax interview.

During that appearance, Trump praised the 27-year-old’s performance by focusing on her physical attributes, saying, “She’s become a star. It’s that face, it’s that brain, it’s those lips, the way they move, they move like she’s a machine gun.” His emphasis on the word “lips” left many viewers uncomfortable and reinforced concerns about his complete lack of professional boundaries.

The pattern of inappropriate comments extends back decades, with Trump’s remarks about his own daughter Ivanka drawing particular scrutiny.

During a 2006 appearance on “The View,” he infamously stated, “If Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”

Earlier incidents include a 2003 Howard Stern Show appearance where he praised Ivanka’s physical attributes and agreed with Stern’s crude characterization of her. These comments have consistently raised eyebrows and contributed to ongoing discussions about Trump’s deeply problematic treatment of women in both personal and professional contexts.

The Cabinet meeting, which Trump described as addressing how “our country is becoming very rich again,” was overshadowed by his personal remarks rather than policy substance.

And while he joked the comments might get him in trouble, one user captured the public’s view of his seemingly unstoppable nature: “Trump’s political career should have ended multiple times over the last 10 years.”

The Teflon image of the only president in U.S. history to be criminally convicted — on 34 felony counts in a single case — and impeached twice, it seems, is still sticking.

‘Go Check on Kayla…Quick’: Travis Kelce’s Quick Engagement to Taylor Swift Sparks a Flood of Warnings to His Ex Kayla Nicole

News - Tue, 08/26/2025 - 23:18

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have just announced their engagement, and not everybody is rushing to celebrate.

On Tuesday, Aug. 26, pictures surfaced of the blooming garden betrothal in a joint Instagram post shared by the couple. The various images showed different snapshots of the sweet moment from Kelce on bended knee with a ring in his hand to them embracing each other. Attached to the images, Swift wrote, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” in the caption. The surprising announcement got them 10 million likes in less than an hour of them posting the photos. Even though there is an abundance of support and excitement from their fans, some people are more concerned about Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole

On Twitter one person wrote, “I’m sorry but Travis Kelce wasted Kayla Nicole’s time for 5 years just to get engaged to her in a year.”

Someone else commented, “Somebody go check on Kayla Nicole quick.”

A third made a joke by sharing a clip from “Beyond Scared Straight” of a kid in jail being woken up out of his sleep by officers. The caption for the clip read, “Life waking up Kayla Nicole on this glorious Tuesday after seeing the Travis Kelce Taylor Swift engagement news.”

A fourth warned, “Kayla Nicole better stay off social media for about a week and don’t post anything where comments can be added. Swifties, trolls and fake Chiefs fans are going to be crazy!”

Kelce and Nicole ended their relationship in 2022 after dating for five years on and off. He’s been dating Swift for about half that time before he decided he was ready to put a ring on it.

Since the NFL star and pop star’s relationship began, Nicole faced a lot of trolling and bullying by Swift’s fans who have written disparaging comments about her looks online. That’s not all. At times, when Nicole has spoken about healing from a past breakup Swifties berated her and told her to “move on” from Kelce.

The attacks started in the early days of Swift and Kelce’s romance, which began to bloom in the summer/fall of 2023. Both individuals dating histories were published in different reports. When people caught win that Nicole was Kelce’s longest lasting girlfriend he dated publicly, Nicole became an instant target for Swift’s fans. When the backlash got to be too much, Nicole showed resilience in October 2023 with an open letter video to Black women like herself.

You’ll hope the ones closest will protect you, but you will quickly find out that people don’t protect what they don’t value,” she said. “They’ll say you’re too much, too provocative, too boisterous, too outspoken, and in the same breath, tell you that you aren’t enough.”

“You don’t have to participate in this tumultuous, often one-sided journey,” she continued. “Preserve your heart. Even when they try to quantify your character and test your boundaries, you do not have to engage. You do not have to respond. Because there is power in your silence.”

“My truth, trauma, and vulnerability are a relatable part of the human experience,” she said. “I know I’m not alone and I want to make sure you know that you aren’t either. On days when I feel most inadequate, I have to remind myself that I am, have been, and will always be more than enough.”

While her ex is soon to be married to one of the biggest stars of this generation, Nicole has not been with a new person publicly since their break up.

In May, she opened up on her podcast “The Pre-Game” to her friend Kamie Crawford about the thought of people having a “one and only” partner.

Crawford said though she does believes people can find their perfect person, she thinks it can be “unrealistic.”

Nicole agreed and said, “I think it does a disservice to women in particular, especially just like young girls. I feel like growing up, that’s what I was taught.”

She shared a scenario that concerns her about the thought that people have their only one perfect match.

“If I only have one and my one is with someone else because he thinks that that’s his one, then I’m just left without my one for the rest of my life,” she said.

Because of that thought, Nicole said that she believes people have “multiples,” but emphasized that being aligned with those people is a key factor.

“You guys need to be at the right place in your journey of life, and you need to meet together at that point. Whether it means like your healing journey, financial journey, your career journey,” she explained.

“If you have that … then, OK, that could be your one. Or two. Or three. Or your top five. Or eight,” Nicole added.

‘He’s Scared to Death…’: Donald Trump Fired the Federal Reserve Gov. But He Never Expected the Stunning Move She Made Next

News - Tue, 08/26/2025 - 22:43

Federal Reserve Board of Governors member Lisa Cook is thumbing her nose at President Donald Trump. Announcing plans to file a lawsuit in case that’s griping the nation across online and network television.

Cook said she has no intention of leaving her job after Trump claimed to have terminated her in a post on social media Monday night.

Chairman of the US Federal Reserve Jerome Powell speaks with Lisa Cook, member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, as he chairs a Federal Reserve Board open meeting discussing proposed revisions to the board’s supplementary leverage ratio standards at the Federal Reserve Board building in Washington, DC, on June 25, 2025. “President Trump purported to fire me ‘for cause’ when no cause exists under the law, and he has no authority to do so,” Cook said in a statement.

“I will not resign and will continue my work to support the U.S. economy, as I have since 2022,” she added.

Cook’s attorny Abbe Lowell also added in a statement a day after Trump cited allegations of mortgage fraud for his reasons for firing Cook. “His attempt to fire her, based solely on a referral letter, lacks any factual or legal basis,” Lowell said.

“We will be filing a lawsuit challenging this illegal action.”

Trump alleged Cook committed mortgage fraud in a letter that was posted to the President’s social media platform Truth Social.

“I have determined that there is sufficient cause to remove you from your position,” he wrote, according to NBC.

“The Federal Reserve has tremendous responsibility for setting interest rates and regulating reserve and member banks,” Trump stated. “The American people must be able to have full confidence in the honesty of the members entrusted with setting policy and overseeing the Federal Reserve.”

“In light of your deceitful and potentially criminal conduct in a financial matter, they cannot and I do not have such confidence in your integrity,” Trump added.

Last week, Trump called on Cook to resign after the head of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Bill Pulte, claimed the Biden appointee committed fraud by listing two primary residences, one in Michigan and one in Atlanta.

The President can remove members of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors for cause, but it remains to be seen whether the accusations against Cook rise to that level.

If Cook does sue, the case could be decided by the Supreme Court, reports CNBC.

“He’s scared to death of an intelligent woman,” Threads user jcinzenga wrote.

“Black women have zero problem standing up to Trump and I love it,” Dryll commented.

“and that’s why he’s scared of them,” Jeff Montgomery agreed on Threads.

“Thank God someone has the balls to stand up to Trump!” Robby Virus posted.

‘WTF Is He Defending?’: Trump Officials Desperately Try to Spin Humiliating Fed Confrontation with Powell In Tense Clash with CNN Reporter, But Viewers Aren’t Buying It

Some social media users claimed Cook was a DEI hire, meaning she was hired under diversity, equity and inclusion policies that Trump has now slashed and burned. He not only removed all DEI program from the federal government, arguing the programs represent a so-called “woke“ mindset, but he’s also threatened corporate America and colleges and universities across the country, demanding they close down DEI offices and programs.

X user Brit Targaryan had a saucy response to that claim, ““ANoThEr DeI HiRe” I wish yall knew how f#cking stupid yall looked saying that. Trump and his entire cabinet are full of DEI hires cause they sure as hell didn’t get the job based on merit.”

The Federal Reserve has not publicly commented on the escalating feud between Cook and Trump. Trump has already spent months criticizing Fed Chairman Jerome Powell because Powell has refused the President’s demands to lower interest rates.

Last week Cook, in response to Pulte and Trump’s accusations, said she would not be “bullied to step down from my position because of some questions raised in a tweet.”

“I do intend to take any questions about my financial history seriously as a member of the Federal Reserve and so I am gathering the accurate information to answer any legitimate questions and provide the facts,” she said in a statement.

Cook is an economist from Georgia and is the first Black woman to serve on the Federal Reserve board. She became the first woman of color to serve on the Federal Reserve Board after former Vice President Kamala Harris cast a tiebreaking vote on May 10, 2022, to confirm her appointment.

Cook attended Spelman College, where she studied physics and philosophy as a Truman scholar, and received her undergraduate degree. She was also a Marshall scholar and went on to complete a master’s degree and a Ph.D. program at the University of California, Berkeley.

Cook was a professor of economics and international relations at Michigan State University and a member of the American Economic Association’s Executive Committee. She’s an authority on international economics, especially teh Russian economy and has advised policymakers for years from the Obama administration to the Rwandan and Nigerian governments.

Before her appointment to the Fed Board she was elected to the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

Trump threatened last week to boot Cook from the Federal Reserve board if she didn’t leave on her own.

‘Always… Spilling Out’: Ice-T’s Wife Coco Austin Tries to Show Off Daughter’s Hairstyle But Fans Zoom In on What’s Really on Display

News - Tue, 08/26/2025 - 22:20

Coco Austin, reality TV personality and wife of legendary rapper Ice-T, has once again turned heads with a new series of Instagram photos.

On Monday, August 25, Austin, 46, shared several sweet photos proudly showcasing her 9-year-old daughter Chanel’s freshly dyed electric blue hair.

However, the post quickly became a topic of debate on social media, with commenters claiming that Austin’s revealing outfit distracted from her daughter’s new look. In a series of snapshots, Austin stands beside a vehicle while Chanel sits inside, showcasing her colorful bangs from various angles.

The former Playboy model captioned the post, “The many faces of Chanel….Had some fun with Chanel’s hair recently … She’s been feeling the color blue lately.. So I finally gave in.. I asked her which is her favorite pic to post and she said all of them..lol”

Chanel is wearing a simple white T-shirt and red shorts, while Austin sports a black, low-cut V-neck T-shirt that highlights her figure.

The post quickly drew attention, amassing over 800 comments and more than 30,000 likes within 24 hours, with Ice-T himself being among the people who liked the post as their most enthusiastic supporter. The majority of responses were positive, applauding Chanel’s bold new hair color and celebrating the mother-daughter bond.

“She’s growing up so fast! Such a lil beauty,” one follower wrote.

Many noted how Chanel is “all grown up” and still the “spitting image” of her father.

While feedback on Instagram was largely glowing, reactions on Daily Mail UK were far more critical.

“Middle aged women sticking their tongue out on photos is pathetic,” one reader commented, referencing the fifth photo in the set, where both Austin and Chanel are playfully sticking out their tongues, revealing Austin’s piercing.

“Oh, please, put it back in your mouth. That’s disgusting,” said one observer.

Another wrote, “Why is she always literally spilling out of the little clothing she has on? She actually has the capacity to look like a classy, dignified lady. Someone, please take her shopping.”

One commenter mocked Austin’s bio on an adult subscription site, quoting: “‘I have an obsession for heels and love to clean,’ while teasing, ‘Good things come in small packages. (My measurements are 39DDD, 26, 43) …and I’m barely 5’2″.’ Sounds like a Craigslist ad.”

Though some believe the cleavage-baring photos and tongue-stud display are inappropriate alongside images of her daughter, Austin has never been one to apologize for her provocative style.

Earlier this summer, social media users attempted to “shame” her for posting a series of photos in a micro bikini for the Fourth of July.

More recently, Austin and Ice-T appeared on the “Shoes Off Talk” podcast, where she opened up about her decades-long modeling career and her commitment to living unapologetically.

Listing her achievements, Austin said, “I had calendars. I had DVDs. I was like on a roll. And, you know, to buy a house from calendars. Just think about that.”

She claimed to have appeared on more than 50 magazine covers at the height of her career and insisted that neither aging nor public opinion would deter her from embracing her identity.

“Everybody is like, ‘Well, don’t you think getting in a bikini is a little too old for you?’ I’m like, ‘No.’…. I’m like, if I’m 90 still looking OK, if I’m still looking good, I’m going to represent for the 90-year-olds, you know? Right now, I’m representing for the 40-year-olds. So, if I can do the split at 80, I’ll be doing the split at 80—and I can still do the split,” she added. “So, I don’t know why there’s like an age thing.”

‘Thinks He’s Still on The Apprentice’!’: Donald Trump Kicks Staffer Out of Oval Office for ‘Ruining’ His Moment In Viral Video

News - Tue, 08/26/2025 - 21:30

President Donald Trump, 79, lashed out at one of his own staffers during a televised appearance in the Oval Office.

On Aug. 25, Trump spoke with the media at an executive order signing ceremony inside the White House. The press conference was briefly interrupted by an unexpected noise.

While attempting to speak about the stock market, Trump stopped mid-sentence to address someone, causing a loud distraction on the other side of the camera.

‘Is He 2 Years Old?’: Donald Trump’s Inspirational Message Takes an Unexpected Turn After He’s Interrupted Mid-Sentence

“Hello, who is that?” the New York City-bred politician asked, as what sounded like noise from a phone call could be heard in the background. “Who’s that? Who is that back there? Alright, get out of the room.”

Unknown individuals, likely other members of Trump’s staff, began laughing when the Republican Party leader demanded the interrupter exit the room. Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stood behind the president.

According to The Daily Mail, White House staff secretary Will Scharf was identified as the person who disrupted Trump. Scharf typically serves as the administration official who hands the president documents to sign during executive order photo ops.

Trump kicking Scharf out of the Oval Office sparked a lot of reactions online. Social media users flooded Instagram to share their takes on the former host of “The Apprentice” getting agitated with one of his West Wing insiders.

“Good. He is demanding manners back into our house. You want to [show] disrespect then get out,” a Trump supporter wrote in The Daily Mail’s Instagram comment section.

Likewise, someone stated, “Rude staffer should have known better. Good for President Trump.” In contrast, one person focused on Trump’s behavior by exclaiming, “Most rude president ever!!”

A fourth individual co-signed that comment writing, “He is beyond rude.” Yet, another critic of the commander in chief wrote, “World’s most miserable man!”

Trump caught more heat on People magazine’s Instagram page, too. For instance, someone joked, “He thinks he’s still on ‘The Apprentice.’” One reply to that comment read, “Right!!!! He was mean to his staff on that show.”

“The Apprentice” reality competition show, which premiered in 2004, made Trump a television star, thanks in part to his “you’re fired” catchphrase joining the national lexicon.

Ironically, NBC fired Trump as the show’s host when he made disparaging comments during his announcement that he was running for president on June 16, 2015.

Previously, Trump made headlines for the way he publicly addressed another subordinate. His interaction with Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem in Washington, D.C., on Aug. 21 went viral.

Trump and Noem appeared together at the U.S. Park Police Anacostia Operations Facility. The president’s remarks about Noem at that media event were met with confusion and ridicule from his detractors.

“This is my Kristi, dear,” Trump told the crowd of onlookers which consisted of law enforcement members.

He continued, “Thank you very much. She’s been incredible. And she can ride a horse like nobody. She gets on those horses, she rips those horses around.”

Trump’s unexpected riff about Noem caused some people to accuse him of being patronizing toward the female cabinet member.

Both Noem and Scharf joined the second Trump administration in January 2025 following the MAGA chief’s second, non-consecutive inauguration. Noem moved to D.C. after serving as governor of South Dakota from 2019 to 2025.

Scharf ran an unsuccessful candidacy in the 2024 Republican primary for Missouri attorney general.

‘She Looks Softer’: Donatella Versace’s New Face Leaves Fans Stunned as They Zoom In on Every Detail

News - Tue, 08/26/2025 - 20:45

The many faces of Donatella Versace are about as captivating as the finest creations coming out of a Versace atelier.

Long platinum hair and a black smokey eye were once synonymous with the Italian designer. Nowadays, the 70-year-old has a fresher face and more youthful glow about her.

The “summer twilight” may have something to do with her rejuvenated beauty. A new photo taken during the golden hour has softened the eyes of people gazing at her. The picture shared on Instagram showed Donatella in a champagne-colored dress with sequins as she sat in a leather chair.

She stared out of a window as her blond hair, styled in loose waves, framed her face during the glamorous moment. “You look beautiful. Finally back to the real you,” a follower commented.

A second user wrote, “I’m glad she’s looking pretty, all that work she had done before seemed to take away from her beauty instead!”

Even her critics resounded that she transformed her appearance from “bleached, fried and unattractive.” The caveat to their wonderment is that several people want to know how she managed to achieve a new look less than a year after she raised eyebrows with her startling appearance.

Donatella’s face and body were so “snatched” in December that some critics felt she went overboard with plastic surgery procedures and fillers. Now, people are unclear if Photoshop, lighter makeup, or a doctor’s precision is the real miracle worker.

“Whatever she did, she looks a heck of a lot better,” read a comment on the Daily Mail’s story about Versace’s chief brand ambassador’s latest post. Someone else presumed, “She’s probably had more surgery but it looks better.” Similarly, a third observer shared, “She looks softer and prettier than ever. Good work this time around.”

With all the fuss over Donatella’s new face, there were still a few individuals who zoomed in on her body, her hands in particular. A follower wrote, “Did she broke her right hand or why is her hand so inflated on the picture it doesn’t look normal to me.”

A user chimed in to ask, “think it’s been badly edited to make the skin look smoother?” A third simply commented, “I suggest a retouching on the hands.” Donatella has only fessed up to using botox on her face and credits her beauty creams as staples in her regimen.

‘Notice Anything Familiar?’: Donald Trump’s Latest Hand Photos Spark Eerie Comparisons to Queen Elizabeth That No One Saw Coming

News - Tue, 08/26/2025 - 20:35

President Donald Trump’s latest health flap has taken on an eerie new twist, with some online pointing to a royal comparison that only fuels further concern.

Over the past week, close-ups of Trump’s hand covered in makeup but still showing a dark bruise have drawn heavy scrutiny.

The images are now being set against photos of Queen Elizabeth II’s discolored hand in the final days before her death, a side-by-side that’s racing across social media and stirring speculation about what the mark might mean for the president.

The latest wave of concern kicked off on Aug. 22. Viral photos showed Trump’s right hand smeared with heavy makeup several shades lighter than his skin tone while he was visiting the People’s Museum at the Kennedy Center. He must have noticed the makeup gaffe because by the time he returned to the Oval Office at the end of a busy day, he conspicuously covered up the hand that was caked in concealer.

By the next day, new images emerged to show bruising on both his hands. Those photos also went viral across social media. News that likely made its way back to the internet-loving President.

It’s very conspicuous rewatching this that Trump is desperately trying to hide the back of his right hand from the camera https://t.co/gDXwiIalfh

On Tuesday, Aug. 25 Trump was talking about the “dirty” condition of Biden’s Oval Office and the money he dropped to redecorate it in gold. He was noticeably cupping his left hand over his right. Releasing for only brief moments before covering it back again.

Then, on Aug. 25, a blurry still from a video was posted on X but soon higher quality photos emerged showing what many speculate is a bruised or infected IV port, fueling suspicions that something more is happening than discoloration from “vigorous handshaking” as Karoline Leaviitt claimed in a White House memo in July.

— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) August 25, 2025

“That looks really bad. Looks like an infected IV port,” one person conjectured in the comments, while others fueled rumors of “frequent blood draws” for various mystery ailments.

Others chalk it up to normal bruising as one’s skin becomes thinner with age.

“It’s an old man bruise – my 84-year-old father has them all over his arms,” chimed in one. While others joked that “Someone forgot to call in his hand make-up artist today.”

But others did some digging and found photos of Queen Elizabeth’s bruised hands when she last seen in public three years ago Tuesday, Sept. 6. in Scotland. It was just two days before her death that cameras captured the monarch’s hand looking deeply purple, TODAY reported. Doctors at the time suggested the discoloration could have been from blood thinners or an IV line, while cautioning against reading too much into a single symptom.

On X, the comparisons kept spreading. “Notice anything familiar? That’s Trump’s hand on the left in a recent photo and Queen Elizabeth’s hand on the right in the last photograph before she died,” one user wrote alongside the viral split-screen.

Another commenter pushed back on the White House explanation: “MAGA tryna say it’s from shaking hands… so he’s been shaking with BOTH? I see it on both hands.”

The White House, however, is sticking to the script and doubling down on the handshake theory. Press Secretary Leavitt stated on Friday.

“President Trump is a man of the people, and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other President in history. His commitment is unwavering and he proves that every single day,” she stated.

The most recent bruise photo comes on the heels of yet another concerning incident. On Saturday, Trump was spotted dragging his leg in a moment that is being scrutinized online.

The president was hitting the links at Trump National Golf Course in Virginia with former Major League Baseball pitcher Roger Clemens and his son Kacy when he was filmed struggling to walk in a straight line and appears to drag his right leg behind him. The armchair doctors came out of the woodwork to share their theories.

View on Threads

“Looks like he has an AFO (Ankle Foot Orthotic) on the right leg,” wrote one on Threads. “Is that a residual effect of a stroke?” asked another. Some speculated that he had a brace on his leg, while others attributed the drag to a “lumbering, unbalanced gait.”

But there’s one thing most can agree on: “If this were Biden, FOX would be screeching about this 24/7.”

‘Horrific’: Michigan Cops Told Black Man He ‘Picked the Wrong City’ After His Mother Called Police for Help. They Tased and Beat Him Instead

News - Tue, 08/26/2025 - 20:08

It should have been obvious to the Warren police officers in Michigan that Christopher Gibson was suffering a mental health crisis when they detained him three years ago.

After all, the mother of the then-24-year-old Black man who contacted police for help repeatedly told officers that her son had schizophrenia and needed to be transported to a mental health facility.

Even people at a gas station that Gibson had run off to called the police, telling them they were concerned for his safety. His mother said his mental episode had been triggered by a close cousin dying of cancer, whom he had spent the prior evening with.

But Warren police transported him to jail instead after discovering he had warrants for identity theft.

And once he was placed inside a jail cell, Warren police ended up pepper-spraying, tasering, and beating him because he would not comply with their orders to allow himself to be handcuffed in order to be taken to another jail.

Black Chicago Cop Was Racially Profiled When He Was Arrested In Arizona for Chirping His Tires, Lawsuit States

On Aug. 13, the ACLU of Michigan filed a lawsuit against the city of Warren, along with several of the Warren police officers who abused him, accusing them of excessive force, failing to provide medical care, and failing to abide by the Americans with Disabilities Act.

“If officers regarded Mr. Gibson’s behavior as problematic, the antidote was not violence,” said Mark P. Fancher in a press release, staff attorney for the ACLU of Michigan’s Racial Justice Project.

“He required compassion and treatment while in the throes of a mental health crisis, which would have made pepper spray, handcuffs, a taser, and brutalization unnecessary.  This case makes clear, yet again, why Warren and other police agencies need to have mental health professionals to respond to – and prevent – horrific incidents such as this.”

Watch the video below.

‘You Picked the Wrong City’

The incident took place on Dec. 12, 2022, after Gibson visited his mother “after an emotional night spent with a cousin dying of cancer,” the claim states.

“Plaintiff has a mental disability, and he began to display symptoms that included: incoherence, manic behavior that included following family members, repetitive rambling, talking to himself, and sitting in a catatonic state.”

Once detained and placed in the back of a patrol car, Gibson tried to explain to the officer he was going through severe stress, telling him, “I was worried about my f_cking family. I was literally going through it …”

“You picked the wrong city to be going through in it,” the cop responded.

Gibson was inside a jail cell at the police department when the cops told him they needed to handcuff him to transport him to the Macomb County Jail.

Gibson was reluctant to allow himself to be handcuffed through a slot in the jail cell door, telling the cops he was having issues because of his mental illness.

“I’m mental, bro,” he said. “My mental ….”

But a Warren police officer cut him off by saying, “You’re mental, that’s fine. You can still follow directions.”

But Fancher, the ACLU attorney, said he was not in the right frame of mind to follow directions and that should have been obvious to the cops.

“The man was undergoing extreme trauma,” Fancher said in a video posted to YouTube on Aug. 13 by the ACLU of Michigan.

“He was already having a mental health episode, a crisis. And now he had been placed in this cell where he was uncertain of his fate.”

Fancher explained that the cops entered his cell to subdue him, triggering a reaction from him where he bit one of the officers.

“As this point as far as they were concerned, he was somebody who had committed assault against an officer. And from then on, he was treated as someone who was a danger to police officers whether they really believed it or not.”

“They went with a full battalion of officers who were ready for war,” Fancher said.

That led to multiple cops planting their body weight on him while telling him to lie down, one cop forcing his face into the floor, and another cop tasering him.

“They’re killing me, literally,” Gibson cried out while being abused. “My f_cking mental illness is going on, what the f_ck,” Gibson continued to plead.

‘I Thought They Murdered My Son’

Body camera video shows the cops continued to abuse him on the way to the Macomb County Jail, including one cop taking him out of the back seat of the patrol car while handcuffed and body slamming him on the asphalt. The cops left him with injuries so bad that they had to transport him to a hospital instead of jail.

Meanwhile, Gibson’s mother, Alwanda Gibson, said police were providing no information on the whereabouts of her son.

“I called all day long for three days straight, hour after hour, and they kept telling me they did not have my son in their custody,” she explained in the ACLU video.

When she finally learned of his whereabouts and showed up at the hospital, the police did not allow her to visit him in the hospital room.

“Ms. Gibson was asked by the people at the hospital whether he had a history of problems with his kidneys or his heart because they had been extremely damaged, that there was internal bleeding,” Fancher said.

“The condition that he was diagnosed with among other things was rhabdomyolysis which is a condition that results from extreme pressure on the body.”

“The video shows multiple officers applying their full body weight to him and causing these extreme injuries.”

According to the lawsuit, that is normally how Warren police deal with mentally ill people they detain.

This was not an isolated occurrence. The Warren Police Department has a history of physically and otherwise abusing persons they have arrested. These incidents include, among others: a) In 2023 an argument between a Warren police officer and an arrestee who was being fingerprinted and photographed escalated and the officer struck the arrestee multiple times and then slammed his head against the floor ; b) It was reported that in 2022 six Warren police officers repeatedly punched and kicked a 17-year-old; c) It was reported that in 2021 four Warren police officers participated in the beating of a 16-year-old who was accused of stealing a catalytic converter. The youth was rendered unconscious by the beating.

The Warren police officers listed as defendants in the lawsuit are Steven Hodges, Brenden Fraser, Daniel Bradley, Jeffrey Motyka, Mark Smith, Thomas Schmelzer, Anthony Giannola, Adam Dickie, David Villerot, James Rebidas, David Huffman and a cop with the surname Harmon whose first name is unknown, along with five John Doe officers.

The abusive and vicious treatment by these cops left Gibson with severe post-traumatic stress syndrome, said his mother.

“Christopher is afraid to sit on the porch,” Alwanda Gibson said in the ACLU video. “He’s afraid to see the police officers when they ride down the street. He thinks they’re going to jump out and finish the job of what the Warren Police Department did to him.”

“Had they just listened and handled the situation better, we wouldn’t be here right now.”

Christopher Gibson also spoke in the ACLU video, saying, “I actually feel lucky to still be alive after what they did to me.”

“So now I’m just speaking with the hope that telling my story will prevent any other people with mental illnesses like I have myself from ever really experiencing that again, that kind of cruelty and abuse,” he said.

“Please help me make that happen.”

‘His Dementia Is Showing’: Fox News Pulls the Plug on Donald Trump As He Spirals Into Bizarre Speech About Washing His ‘Beautiful, Luxuriant Hair’

News - Tue, 08/26/2025 - 18:57

It’s been nearly a decade since President Donald Trump entered the national stage as a serious presidential contender — and introduced the world to his unfiltered, rambling speaking style. There have been so many head-scratching moments since 2016 that the rants have almost become expected.

However, a recent spate of concerns, including mysterious bruises on his hands, wobbly walking, and verbal slip-ups, has critics reevaluating the past with fresh eyes, searching for early warning signs of decline.

One moment from a campaign rally last year stands out. During a June 2024 speech, Trump went on a mini rant about “washing machines to wash your dishes,” “no water in faucets,” and “rain,” without making a clear connection between the three.

In the speech, Trump was discussing flow restrictors, which typically regulate water on showerheads in homes, but that logic became lost in the rambling. Trump made the remarks at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, and Fox News provided live coverage until they abruptly cut away, interrupting Trump’s musings on water mid-sentence.

Donald Trump Tries Praising Kristi Noem with Pet Name In Public But Sets Off Social Media Firestorm Instead

A shortened version of the unflattering clip circulated in the news at the time. In it, Trump told his audience: “There’s so much water you don’t know what to do with it. You know, it’s called rain. It rains a lot in certain places,” he stated the obvious before launching into a perplexing word salad. “But uh, no, their idea, you know, did you see the other day. I opened it up, and they closed it again. I open it, they close it. Washing machines, to wash your dishes. There’s a problem. They don’t want you to have any water,” he said. He was presumably referring to the Biden administration.

Earlier in the speech, Trump slammed Biden’s $2 trillion proposal to address climate change — a less ambitious version of the Green New Deal — calling it “wasteful” and the “green new scam.” Trump went on to complain about not having enough water to wash his “beautiful, luxuriant hair.”

“You turn on the water and it goes drip, drip… You’re trying. The worst is your hair,” he said.  “I have this beautiful, luxuriant hair, and I put stuff on. I put it in. Lather. I like lots of lather because I like it to come out extremely dry because it seems to be slightly thicker that way. And I lather up, and then you turn on this crazy shower and the thing drip, drip, and you say, ‘I’m gonna be here for 45 minutes.’ What?”

Trump’s tips for thick-looking hair aside, the blunder sparked concern. Despite his long history of speaking off the cuff in a boastful, flamboyant style, many found it hard to blame age alone.

“President Joe Biden’s campaign, allies and defenders called the moment ’embarrassing’ for Trump and claimed the former president is ‘senile,'” read the caption by The Daily Mail.

“Why is he talking about washing machines and it raining a lot?” someone recently wondered on Instagram. “His dementia is showing,” stated one. Another agreed: “Incoherent, Trump! This is who people voted for?”

Inaugurated at 78, he was the oldest president to be sworn into office. Prior to 2024, the median age of U.S. presidents on the day of their first inauguration was 55, according to the Pew Research Center. The study also found that most Americans prefer their presidents to be in their 50s, which has historically been the case. The U.S. has certainly been in uncharted territory with Biden and Trump back-to-back.

‘She Keeps Adjusting It’: Close Call for Vera Wang as Her Dress Nearly Slips Off Before Red Carpet Disaster

News - Tue, 08/26/2025 - 18:34

Fashion icon Vera Wang has left swarms of fans in awe of her timeless and chic aesthetic for decades.

Even now, at 76 years old, the revered fashion designer continues to spark chatter about her threads, including when she is not dressing the who’s who of Hollywood.

She was among the stars who stepped out for the opening night of the US Open in New York City on Aug. 24. The former Vogue fashion editor wore a gray and white color-block maxi dress from her Vera Wang Haute collection.

The sleeveless, floor-length garment was accented by a black stripe down either side, a plunging scoop neck, and a daringly low back. She initially paired the look with a mini black jacket when she posed for photos before the event.

However, she ditched the cover-up by the time she was in front of photographers on the blue carpet, leaving her prominent collarbone, shoulders, and peeks at her side ribs on full display. At one point, she had to adjust the dress to keep it from exposing her bust.

“She looks awesome for her age! Good for her!!!!’ an admirer gushed, praising Wang’s appearance. Those flattering comments were the minority, as several people agreed she looked rather thin.

For countless others, videos of her walking the step-and-repeat and serving poses were an alarming sight. A concerned fan commented, “She is so skinny her dress is falling off.”

“She keeps adjusting it???” noticed another observer. A third said, “That dress is awful. I would never wear it or buy it.”

Others were certain that Wang’s small frame and gaunt figure were indicative of an eating disorder. “Please get some help. Dangerously thin,” urged one person as another declared, “Vera, please go eat something.”

A couple of staunch supporters shared kinder perspectives on the discourse. One fan wrote the look was “Not flawless. It’s ill fitting, as for the thinness it’s alway been there maybe the big clothes just make it exaggerated. It’s probably the genes.”

The bridal gown connoisseur once revealed that her slim body was not the result of a highly restrictive diet. She told Page Six, “I have my own vodka, and I don’t do Dunkin’ Donuts every day, but I’m not that rigid about food, period.”

Vera Wang, who’s 74, credits McDonald’s, Dunkin’ Donuts and hard work in helping her look young:

In a separate interview, Wang also confessed she is at peace with aging and not pressed to rewind the hands of time, though some remain convinced she has had a few procedures.

‘Will, Come On Bro’: Will Smith’s Tour Recap Under Fire as Fans Zoom In and Spot Something Strange

News - Tue, 08/26/2025 - 17:18

Will Smith, 56, has some fans questioning if he used artificial intelligence to feed his ego.

The Grammy Award-winning rapper is currently on tour in Europe to support his “Based on a True Story” album. He has also been vlogging the experience for his YouTube channel.

On Aug. 12, Smith published a one-minute video of his “You Can Make It” performance. The original track features singer Francis “Fridayy” Leblanc and the Sunday Service choir.

“My favorite part of tour is seeing you all up close. Thank you for seeing me too,” Smith titled his YouTube clip.

‘You’re Almost 60 Will’: Will Smith’s Stage Moment Sparks Wild Midlife Crisis Rumors Amid Jada’s Disappearance

While the former “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” actor included real footage from his shows, eagle-eyed viewers claimed parts of the crowd shown in the video seemed to be AI-generated.

For example, a woman who is seen holding a “Take Us Back to Bel-Air” sign in the audience appeared to have six fingers on one hand. Other visual cues, like blurry faces, were pointed to as well.

YouTube commenters had a field day slamming Smith for allegedly using AI to make phony concertgoers. Some people called for the Philadelphia native to retire from the music industry.

“Imagine being this rich and famous and having to use AI footage of crowds and bot comments on your video. Tragic, man. You used to be cool,” one person wrote in reaction to Smith’s tour recap.

A second individual commented, “It’s over, bro. Just enjoy your retirement.” A third disappointed fan added, “It’s equal parts embarrassing as it is hilarious. AI crowd to top it off as well. Sad as hell, lol.”

“Will, come on bro. You’re rich, you don’t need to chase fame anymore,” read another reply. Smith’s infamous on-stage incident with comedian Chris Rock, 60, was brought up when someone posted, “Nobody made you smack him.”

For most of Smith’s entertainment career, the Hollywood and hip-hop legend was viewed as clean-cut and respectable. That public perception changed instantly when he slapped Rock at the 94th Academy Awards in March 2022.

Smith walked on stage inside the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and hit Rock across the face during the live broadcast. The unscripted outburst happened after Rock made fun of Smith’s wife, “Girls Trip” actress Jada Pinkett Smith, having a shaved head.

Later in the night, Smith won the Best Actor award for his role in the “King Richard” biopic. However, his violent actions led to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences banning him from all future events for 10 years.

The so-called “Oscar Slap” turned many people off to supporting Smith over his explosive response to Rock’s comedy bit. “Based on a True Story” dropped three years later, and the project was a commercial flop in America.

Smith’s fifth studio LP failed to chart on the Billboard 200, making it his first not to enter the weekly rankings of the most popular albums in the country. Professional critics also panned “Based on a True Story,” evidenced by its 40/100 rating on Metacritic.

“It is a campaign platform, devoid of perspective or style, uninterested in narrative or even spin, but always on message: Please take me back,” Stephen Kearse opined in his Pitchfork review of the project.

Smith was not able to recapture the magic of 1997’s “Big Willie Style” album or 1999’s “Willennium” album, but he was able to turn back the clock to his most popular days as a 1990s blockbuster movie star.

The “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” action comedy arrived in North American theaters in May 2024. Smith reconnected with comedian Martin Lawrence in the fourth installment in the film franchise. The buddy cop motion picture grossed $405 million at the worldwide box office.

In March 2025, Smith kicked off his “Based on a True Story” tour at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. The rap star formerly known as The Fresh Prince broke down in tears during that first show.

Smith reportedly got extremely emotional while reflecting on the birth of his first child, Trey Smith, with his ex-wife Sheree Zampino. The tears continued to flow when he began discussing his “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” co-star James Avery, who passed away in 2013 at 68 years old.

‘Put That Stomach Up’: Tina Knowles’ Sheer Outfit Turns Heads and Leaves Fans Staring

News - Tue, 08/26/2025 - 14:07

Tina Knowles is aging on her own terms. The glamorous “Matriarch” author was a head-turner as she was photographed on the blue carpet on day one of the US Open in New York City.

Knowles, 71, stepped out in a matching white crop-top and pants ensemble that featured both intricately covered in floral cutouts.

The risqué wardrobe selection was somewhat sheer and teased peeps of her bare skin from the collar to her ankles. The bold look was a hit among fans who praised the Cécred chairwoman for not allowing age to define her style and approach to beauty.

“You being fast with that belly button out Ms girl!!” one supportive follower playfully told her. Some even praised the grandmother of five for being the blueprint for daughters Beyoncé and Solange.

Yet, for others, Knowles’ appearance was a distraction. Someone first commented that “she looks uncomfortable” as she awkwardly stopped for photographers with minimal posing.

A second critic found the entire look unflattering and remarked, “She look a mess.” A third person wrote, “Her entire face is frozen.”

Rumors that the Texas native had a plastic surgery makeover first surfaced in 2011. In the years since, she has appeared even more youthful and flat-bellied as speculation about her plastic surgery enhancements remains unconfirmed.

Some suggested that Knowles was such a feast for the eyes that even her exes would be smitten by her. “Unh unh Mama Tina!! Put that stomach up. You gone mess around and catch us a daddy out here in these streets,” said one person.

Another wrote, “Matthew must drool & regret his actions looking at Mz. Tina!!! Cuz she is literally everything.”

A White Officer Who Broke Into Black Woman’s Home, Fabricated Charges and Was Paid to Resign Left Victim Fighting for Years Before She Finally Won a $120K Payout

News - Mon, 08/25/2025 - 17:54

Anaysheon Coffey, a South Carolina Black woman, was awarded a $120,000 settlement last month because a white cop with a history of racial profiling barged into her home without a warrant and arrested her on fabricated charges in August 2020.

And the cop who arrested her, Lancaster police officer Peter Beck, was forced to resign in April 2021 after numerous citizens accused him of racial profiling – just over a year after he was forced to resign from the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office for having “zero throttle control.”

But not only was Beck given a $60,000 payout to resign from the Lancaster Police Department, he is now working for the North Charleston Police Department, a South Carolina law enforcement agency with its own history of racial profiling, as Atlanta Black Star reported last month when a group of cops piled on top of a Black boy for selling palmetto roses.

So he is likely continuing his racial profiling style of policing at the expense of taxpayers.

Peter Beck earned a bad reputation as a law enforcement officer when he began his career with the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office in 2016 (left) but after being forced to resign from two law enforcement agencies, he is still working as a cop for the North Charleston Police Department. (Photos: Lancaster County Sheriff Office/Facebook, North Charleston Police Department/Facebook)

Coffey, meanwhile, spent five years fighting for justice, including two years fighting the criminal charges against her, which were eventually dismissed.

The lawsuit does not state what she had been charged with and there is no record of the charges on South Carolina court websites, but she was only able to file her lawsuit once she was cleared of those criminal charges.

“This resolution sends a powerful message that racial profiling and harassment won’t be tolerated,” Tyler Bailey, Coffey’s attorney, said in a statement, according to WCNC-TV.

But the underlying message is that racial profiling is indeed tolerated within South Carolina law enforcement agencies because not only was he allowed to resign on at least two occasions rather than be fired, his law enforcement certification was never revoked, allowing him to continue working as a cop, potentially placing numerous Black citizens at risk.

‘Immediate Karma’: White Truck Driver Flipped Off Black Man and Hurled Racial Insult After He Tried to Save Him from Driving Into a Sinkhole Then the Craziest Thing Happens Next

“I am outraged that each of you would go on record unanimously supporting a decision that says Black youth as citizens in this community, that Black lives, don’t matter in the Red Rose City,” Reverend Anthony Pelham, a Black pastor who lives in Lancaster, told the city council at the time, according to Queen City News.

“Knowing that you used $60,000 of my taxpayer dollars to pay off an officer that has impacted individuals that look like me outraged me.”

Racial Profiling Complaints

Beck had been a Lancaster police officer for four months when he knocked on Coffey’s door on August 25, 2020, demanding to speak with the father of her child, according to the claim.

After a brief conversation, Defendant Officer Peter Beck asked if he could come inside of Plaintiff’s residence. Plaintiff then informed Officer Peter Beck that he could not come inside because he did not have a warrant.

Notwithstanding Plaintiff informing Defendant Officer Peter Beck that he could not come inside of her residence without a warrant, Officer Peter Beck barged in and began to illegally search the apartment.

After illegally entering and searching Plaintiff’s residence in violation of Plaintiff’s constitutional rights, Plaintiff was wrongfully arrested/detained for alleged criminal offenses.

Defendant Officer Peter Beck’s wrongful arrest of Plaintiff resulted in her being taken jail and sustaining other damages.

The lawsuit states that more than 20 residents attended a Lancaster City Council meeting in February 2021 to complain about Beck’s racial animosity towards Black citizens, including Reverend Pelham, revealing that he had quickly earned a notorious reputation in less than a year working for the Lancaster Police Department.

Arlene Clyburn said Beck has harassed members of her family and has provoked fear in the Black community.

“Pulling people out of their cars, putting them in handcuffs and then you turn around and let them go,” Arlene Clyburn complained to the city council, according to WSOC-TV.

“What’s the point in you pulling them out of their cars? What probable cause do you have?”

Beck was placed on administrative leave in March 2021 and resigned in April 2021 along with the $60,000 payout.

Coffey’s charges were not dismissed until January 2022 but she only learned about the dropped charges in April 2022 through her own research, an indication the city was trying to keep her from filing her lawsuit.

Beck said he comes from a family of cops so he probably learned from an early age he could get away with racial profiling.

“My dad was – he’s a retired cop, my uncle’s a retired cop, my great-grandfather is a retired cop, so it’s kind of in the blood,” he said during a in deposition 2024.

“Zero Throttle Control”

The Lancaster Police Department hired Beck in April 2020 despite warnings from the sheriff’s office that he was a liability, according a defamation lawsuit filed by Beck against the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office in August 2021, which ended up getting dismissed.

The warnings included statements from Lancaster County Sheriff’s Major J.M. Shaw to Lancaster Police Lieutenant Small like, “Beck has zero throttle control and they were unable to control him.”

The court records also state that Shaw told Small that Beck was involved in “a couple of cases that were close to excessive force” and that “the sheriff’s office felt that Pete Beck (was) more of a liability than a benefit.

Major Shaw also said that the sheriff’s office “would be happy to work with the Lancaster Police Department in any joint effort but did not want Pete Beck in the County in any working capacity if hired by the Lancaster Police Department.”

But the Lancaster Police Department hired him anyway in April 2020, a month after he resigned from the sheriff’s office.

Four months later, he forced himself into Coffey’s home without a warrant, resulting in the $120,000 settlement for her as well as the $60,000 payout to make him go away. The starting salary for a Lancaster police officer is $52,000, according to Indeed. He is now making more than $60,000 working for the North Charleston Police Department.

Beck filed his wrongful termination lawsuit against the sheriff’s office five months later, which was dismissed in December 2024 when he was unable to persuade the judge that he had been the victim of defamation.

“As to Plaintiff’s claim for wrongful discharge in violation of South Carolina public policy, the Court finds Plaintiff has failed to produce admissible evidence that his separation from LCSO violated any public policy of the state of South Carolina,” the judge wrote in his dismissal.

“The Court finds that Defendant is immune in this case, and the Court further finds that Plaintiff has failed to establish evidence that would create a genuine issue of material fact that the purported statements made by Major Shaw to LPD’s Lt. Small rise to the level of defamatory statements,” the judge wrote in his dismissal.

‘I’m Sick’: Morris Chestnut Ditches the Look He’s Known For and His New Appearance Has Everyone Shocked

News - Mon, 08/25/2025 - 17:13

Actor Morris Chestnut can do no wrong.

The “Reasonable Doubt” star left fans awestruck with a recent Instagram post showing he has changed his signature look.

The video, captioned Decided to hop on this trend. Beard or no beard?” began with a clip of the actor at the 2025 Golden Globes, wearing an impeccably tailored red suit and rocking his signature full beard.

Chestnut shared a POV-style reel stating he had “finally decided to cut off his facial hair.” The video then cuts to show him in his bathroom, revealing a freshly groomed goatee.

While leaving the “beard gang” might be a risky move for some, social media had no complaints about the 56-year-old’s bold makeover.

“You can do whatever you want, Morris!!!” one follower exclaimed on Chestnut’s personal Instagram, @MorrisChestnutOfficial.

Another added, “Ain’t no damn way you aging this damn well—I mean, sheshhh, you looking amazing! The goatee is.”

One follower took it a step further, playfully demanding a conversation with Pam Byse, Chestnut’s wife of 29 years.

“At this point, I need to talk to thy boss. Mrs. Pam, your beautiful husband got us in our feelings & we don’t know how to act at times. I think Morris needs to be on timeout or something cause, Lord, we thank You; with all due respect. Morris, know we don’t play ’bout him.”

After @TheShadeRoom reposted the clip, the comments only got better.

“I’m sick of this man being fine. It’s been my whole life!” one follower vented.

Another noted that Chestnut “went from Morris to Lance,” referencing his iconic role as former NFL player Lance Sullivan in 1999’s “The Best Man.”

Chestnut has long been considered one of Hollywood’s most attractive men. His on-screen debut as Ricky Baker in 1991’s “Boyz N the Hood” introduced the world to a fresh-faced 22-year-old with a trendy high-top fade and a baby face.

By the mid 2010s, his role as Lance evolved in “The Best Man Holiday” into another side of Morris that most know him for today: a smooth bald head and goatee.

Throughout his 30+ year career, Chestnut has occasionally switched up his facial hair, but one thing remains constant — his “face card never declines,” as fans are quick to affirm.

In 2015, People named the actor one of its “Sexiest Men Alive,” but the “Two Can Play That Game” star has yet to grace the magazine’s coveted cover. The top-secret winner is revealed every November.

As for what prompted the sudden change in facial hair? Chestnut hasn’t said — but if the internet’s reaction is any indication, whatever the reason, fans are eating it up.

‘Stopped Learning In Sixth Grade’: Karoline Leavitt Roasted in Viral Takedown as Clip Exposes Her Mispronouncing Trump’s Name on Repeat

News - Mon, 08/25/2025 - 16:41

Former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann has had enough of White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, especially after she managed to repeatedly mispronounce her own boss Donald Trump’s name.

On Wednesday’s episode of his podcast “Countdown with Keith Olbermann,” the veteran broadcaster tore into her as “aggressively stupid,” mocking the blunders in a takedown he blasted out to his more than 200,000 followers on social media.

President Donald Trump is seen on a monitor watching footage of military strikes on Yemen’s Houthi rebels, as Karoline Leavitt, White House press secretary, conducts a press briefing on Monday, March 17, 2025. (Tom Williams/CQ Roll Call)

“We may have achieved perfection!” Olbermann said sarcastically, adding that the word “lie” can be spelled with letters in both her first name and surname.

“She is also belligerent, condescending and aggressively stupid,” the frequent critic of the Trump administration stated.

He highlighted Leavitt’s frequent mispronunciations, including repeatedly calling her boss President Donald Trump “chump.” She’s referred to Hitler as “Adolf Hilter” and called pundits “pundints.”

“Her chief achievement is she doesn’t actually speak English,” he said. “She has repeatedly mispronounced Trump’s name.”

In an embarrassing example of ignorance, Karoline Leavitt says

“Last week she insisted Trump — or as she often calls him, Chump — deserves the Noble Peace Prize,” Olbermann continued.

He had a field day with that one, swatting down the suggestion that Trump deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for “one peace deal or cease-fire per month,” something that just doesn’t pass muster, according to multiple fact-checkers.

‘Evidence Tampering?’: Pam Bondi May Have Walked Into Her Own Trap As 47-Second Clip Shows How Far She Went to Shield Trump — Now It Could Cost Her Everything

Olbermann called into question Trump’s attempts at brokering a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine, pointing out he’s gotten nowhere and that he’s just burning “another week off the clock.”

The podcast host played a hilarious clip of Leavitt’s slip-ups, which he called “the Hall of Fame of Karoline Leavitt.”

Karoline 'I pronounce it Noble Prize' Leavitt remains as arrogantly and condescendingly dumb as a box of 200 pounds of rocks https://t.co/zmWFU7N2Qo

— Keith Olbermann (@KeithOlbermann) August 19, 2025

“So all you Hilter chump pundints, just remember, you may try to get it. Karoline is way ahead of you in the running — the Nobel Peace Prize,” he said.

“P D I N Ts. No. Dumber than a box of 200 lb of rocks. Now, I know a lot of people make this exact mistake and say, ‘Pundant, so what?,” he added. “A lot of people get drunk and drive into telephone polls, too. Does that make it any more okay to do that?” This person speaks on TV every day. Does she have any pride?

Leavitt also had trouble with the word “apprenticeships,” during an interview in May on Fox’s “Hannity,” saying that the US needs more “apprentinships.”

Leavitt’s short tenure as press secretary so far has been marked by repeatedly reprimanding reporters over their questions. Olbermann suggested Leavitt’s experience playing softball in college set her up perfectly for the “softball questions from right-wing plants” at the daily White House briefings.

“Leavitt clearly stopped learning around the sixth or seventh grade because she became convinced that at that point she knew everything,” he continued.

Leavitt is the youngest press secretary ever at 27. She turned a stint as an intern in the first Trump administration in 2019 into the role of assistant press secretary by 2020.

After Trump’s failed presidential bid in 2020, Leavitt ran for office herself in 2022 at the age of 23 in New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District, just a few years after graduating from St. Anselm College. As one of the first Gen Z congressional candidates, the MAGA Republican lost that election amid a crowded field of more veteran politicians.

And Leavitt’s congressional campaign committee still hasn’t repaid most of the more than  $300,000 it owes to creditors and donors, according to a disclosure filed with the Federal Election Commission.

Her committee did not take in any money this spring and hasn’t made any payments on the huge debt, a majority of which was raised through illegal campaign contributions that surpassed federal limits, according to the website OpenSecrets.
