‘Sick’: Fans Blast ‘X-Files’ Star David Duchovny After News Breaks He Secretly Married His Girlfriend, Who’s ‘Young Enough to Be His Daughter’
Former “X-Files” star David Duchovny, 65, secretly wed his longtime girlfriend in February.
The actor, who played Fox Mulder for 11 seasons on the show, confirmed the big news that he and Monique Pendleberry, 31, are officially married during an appearance on the “Today with Jenna & Friends” daytime talk show on Sept. 3.

Congratulations!” stated “Today” guest host Savannah Guthrie near the end of the televised segment. A smiling Duchovny acknowledged as he replied, “Thank you. I did.”
Fellow “Today” presenter Willie Geist also asked Duchovny if his romance with Pendleberry inspired any of the content in his new “About Time” poetry book.
“No,” the Golden Globe Award winner responded. “I was checking the Amazon sales on the way here this morning and it said I was the number one love poet.”
He added, “That’s just such a joke because there is no other love poet out there, so I’m one of one. I screenshotted it just to have that. I just think it’s a nice handle.”
As Duchovny was taking pride in his seventh published work, some internet users were more interested in the 34-age gap between him and his new bride.
“Young enough to be his daughter, no doubt,” one Yahoo reader posted in the website’s comment section. Someone else wondered, “What’s up with all these young [women] hooking up with old dudes?”
An even harsher comment read, “Creepy weirdo began dating her when she was 23 and he was 57.” A third said, “She is just there for his money.”
Duchovny was first romantically linked to Pendleberry in 2017, but the pair have mostly remained out of the public eye over the past eight years.
They initially met at the SunLife Organics juicery in Malibu, California. Pendleberry was said to be an employee at the establishment owned by Duchovny’s friend Khalil Rafati.

According to People, the couple were seen together throughout 2023 and 2024, including at the January 2023 premiere of Duchovny’s “You People” movie and the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival.
Duchovny and Pendleberry were also spotted at a Los Angeles Lakers game at Crypto.com Arena in January 2024. Then in September of that year, the now-newlyweds were photographed in the streets of New York City.
Speculation that Duchovny had privately exchanged vows with Pendleberry went into overdrive in May 2025 when The Daily Mail ran an article claiming a spokesperson confirmed the nuptials did take place.
At the time, Pendleberry was photographed wearing a gold band with a diamond ring while out walking a dog with Duchovny in Malibu. Her husband was seen a silver band on his left hand in the pictures as well.

Leoni and Duchovny are the parents of a 26-year-old daughter named West Duchovny and a 23-year-old son named Kyd Duchovny.
Aside from “The X-Files” and “Californication,” David Duchovny has also appeared in “Ten Year Old Tom” and “The Sympathizer.” Next, he stars in Amazon Prime’s psychological thriller “Malice.” He’s also written novels such as “Holy Cow,” and “Truly Like Lightning,” released full-length music projects, and hosts the “Fail Better” podcast.
‘I’m Letting You Have It’: Kelly Price Explodes on Fans, Turns Off Comments After Critics Trashed Her Appearance and Zoomed In on Her Feet
Grammy-nominated R&B powerhouse Kelly Price reached her breaking point this week, delivering a fiery Instagram Live response to critics who have been body-shaming her online.
The 52-year-old singer didn’t hold back as she addressed the relentless commentary about her appearance. Price’s frustration boiled over after she witnessed harsh and “disparaging” comments under recent performance photos and videos from her weekend show.
Kelly Price disabled comments on her social media after lashing out at critics who body-shamed her appearance instead of focusing on her vocal performance. (Photo by Marcus Ingram/Getty Images)Critics focused not on her vocal performance, but rather on her outfit choices and physical features. Rather than quietly enduring the criticism, Price confronted her detractors head-on in an emotional live session, ultimately disabling comments on both videos.
“I’m letting you have it right now, because ain’t nothing you can do about that. And while you looking for a new job, I’m still going to be selling out theaters and venues looking like a fat slob in clothes that you said that I look nasty in, and my feet are so damn big, and who dressed me,” Price declared during her lengthy Instagram Live session.
Adding, “I’m still going to be making my money.”

The Queens native made it clear that the attacks on her physical appearance crossed a line, particularly when coming from members of her own community.
She emphasized her roots, reminding viewers that “before I was saved, I was a Black girl born and raised on the South Side of Jamaica,” suggesting she’s not one to back down from confrontation.
Price didn’t mince words about the gender dynamics at play either.
“Any man that feels that he has the right to disrespect a woman that has never done anything to them … you’re a b—ch. And I mean that from the bottom of my heart,” she stated firmly.
The singer’s most controversial statements specifically targeted her own community, though she acknowledged her own spiritual journey.
“Black women, you are some of the most nasty, disrespectful people on God’s planet earth,” she said, her frustration evident. “The things that you say about other Black women—but you’re an activist, and you are educated … find yourself, because a degree does not give you class.”
Price directly addressed the specific criticism she had been receiving, revealing that commenters weren’t critiquing her vocal performance but focusing on superficial aspects.
“You didn’t say I sounded horrible. You said my feet looked like boats in my shoes. You said my clothes looked disgusting. You said I’ve never had any style,” she explained, detailing the personal attacks that pushed her to respond.
Price also made clear she wasn’t seeking validation, simply defending herself. “And I don’t buy into this because I’m an artist, I don’t have the right to respond when someone says something that’s out of pocket. That’s where y’all got it messed up.”
She emphasized the disconnect between her professional success and personal attacks, adding, “If you don’t like me, get the hell off my social media. It don’t affect my bottom line.”
When The Shade Room posted her live video, reactions poured in from across the entertainment industry.
Boxer Claressa Shields showed strong support, commenting, “I AGREE!!!!! I DEAL WITH IT DAILY!”
Another commented, “She’s not wrong. I swear, coming to Black comment sections sometimes feels like the worst parts of high school all over again. The bullying, the teasing.”
Other users noted, “It’s called self projecting they hate themselves.”
A fourth person who had seen the original comments provided context, writing, “Long story short folks commented about her outfit from last night. You can view on kellypricefans page. There were tough comments, but not really nasty, just more concerned. Sending love and light to everyone.”

Price might be on the receiving end of social media bashing now, but in 2024 she was the one tearing people down as not being upright Christians.
The singer briefly served as a judge on BET’s “Sunday Best” from 2019 to 2020, after which she made shocking allegations about her former colleagues.
“I was the only artist/Judge on Sunday Best that wasn’t f—kng someone else’s spouse, fornicating or messing with kids and boys, but you have smoke for me?” she ranted on X in January 2024.
That same year, she also claimed to have been the target of inappropriate advances from religious figures, stating, “Some of your favorite preachers all over your timeline… if they could have gotten me in my bed or in their bed, they would have.”
Her willingness to publicly criticize both gospel artists and preachers suggests that while she condemns online trolling directed at her, she herself calls out others when justified. This reveals the complex nature of her stance against social media negativity.
Price concluded her emotional live session by disabling comments on both her performance video and her response video.
‘Had to Defend My Integrity’: Colorado Hospital Got Black Nurse Arrested for Patient’s Death After She Stood Up Against Racism. Then She Took Her Fight to Court–– and Won
A Black ICU nurse who claimed a Colorado hospital racially discriminated against her and then fired her for complaining, while wrongfully blaming her for an elderly patient’s death, was awarded $20 million by a federal jury last month.
DonQuenick Joppy, 41, sued HCA-HealthOne LLC, the parent company of The Medical Center of Aurora, in U.S. District Court in Colorado in April 2022, three years after she was fired in the wake of the death of a 93-year-old patient who was experiencing organ failure and septic shock when he was admitted to the intensive care unit, attached to a ventilator.
The unconscious man’s family soon agreed to turn off his ventilator, and Joppy was initially charged with palliative care — making his death as comfortable and painless as possible, according to the lawsuit, obtained by Atlanta Black Star.
Nurse DonQuenick Joppy (right, standing next to lead attorney Jennifer Robinson) was awarded a $20 million verdict by a Colorado jury after suing her former employer, HCA-HealthOne, LLC, for firing her in retaliation for reporting racial discrimination by hospital staff. (Photo: Robinson & Associates)Then she says she followed the instructions of a respiratory therapist delivered via phone to withdraw the patient from the ventilator, and stayed in the hospital room comforting the family as he passed away, showing no signs of distress.
While a medical examiner found the man died of natural causes, the hospital determined that Joppy had “acted outside the scope of her practice as a nurse and outside the standard of practice for ICU end-of-life care” by turning off his ventilator, possibly causing him to suffocate and suffer for 13 minutes. Protocol dictated that she wait for the respiratory therapist to turn off the ventilator, they said, and denied he had directed her to do so.
Lawsuit Reveals Pennsylvania Teacher’s Disturbing Punishment of Black Teen Who Fell Asleep in Class
Hospital officials fired Joppy in June 2019 and then reported her actions to the state health department, alleging criminal neglect.
The Colorado Attorney General’s Office filed charges of manslaughter and negligent death of an at-risk person, both felonies, against Joppy in November 2020, but dropped the case in September 2021 “in the interest of justice.”
Joppy alleged that the hospital knew the patient was unconscious, unresponsive, and “never had the drive to breathe” at any time he was in the ICU, and that she had not harmed him. She argued that officials at The Medical Center of Aurora (TMAC) purposely mischaracterized her role in his death as a pretext to terminate her in retaliation for complaints she had made earlier about mistreatment based on racial discrimination by hospital staff.
The hospital then maliciously tried to have her professional nursing license revoked and to end her career, the lawsuit claimed.
In her complaint, Joppy, who was hired in June 2017 to work as a registered nurse in the TMAC ICU, said that she was “subject to verbal and nonverbal slights and microaggressions designed to marginalize, segregate, and undermine her based on stereotypical and harmful views of Black professionals.”
Despite a favorable performance review in 2018 and positive reviews from patients, Joppy said the mostly non-Black management in the ICU treated her poorly, including charge nurses who would openly yell at her, criticize her, and undermine her in a humiliating and demeaning manner. This did not happen to non-Black nurses, she claimed.
Charge Nurse Lindsay Jordan was particularly abusive towards Joppy and would constantly criticize her work and scream at her, she said.
Other staff relied on negative stereotypes about Black employees’ abilities in making employment decisions, she argued, citing her experience with Charge Nurse Michael Oleszczuk, who she says denied her the opportunity to participate in a training for patients with heart problems offered to other nurses.
Oleszczuk dismissively explained that heart patients require “much deeper critical thinking and much better organizational skills” than she had, she alleged.
Oleszczuk continued to treat Joppy in a demeaning and demoralizing way, she claimed, and in early March 2019 told her that since she was good at cleaning, she should “clean his house and clip his dog’s toe nails.”
Joppy complained to her supervisor about Oleszczuk but got no response, the lawsuit said.
On another occasion, a white patient’s family accused Joppy of going into a patient’s purse, stealing a credit card and buying a stethoscope. Rather than conduct an investigation, the complaint said the hospital’s human resources department decided to restrict Joppy to working in only one section of the ICU, and did not allow her to go into the locker room or main break room with other employees. Then they thanked her for not making a “big fuss” over it, the complaint alleged.
Joppy also contended that she was tasked with caring for up to three critically ill patients at a time, with no backup, while other ICU nurses, who worked as a team, were asked to care for only two patients each.
Joppy complained to her supervisor that she didn’t feel safe with that workload, and also felt isolated and occupationally segregated, and thought she was being treated differently than her non-Black co-workers, the lawsuit said. Her supervisor “indicated he would take care of the situation, but nothing was ever done,” she claimed.
In March 2019, “in order to escape the abusive and discriminatory treatment” in the ICU, Joppy applied for a transfer to the RN Critical Care Float Pool, a position with higher pay.
The day she was scheduled for an interview, she learned that it had been cancelled because she now had a Performance Improvement Plan in place and was therefore ineligible for a transfer. Joppy said the PIP was shocking news to her, and she sought an explanation from her supervisors.
She learned a few days later that her 60-day improvement plan required her to “use proper body language and tone” and “remain respectful towards the charge nurses and other employees within the hospital.” The plan also called for her to acquire “no further patient or family complaints” (which Joppy called an unattainable goal) and reprimanded her for “listening to music and dancing on the night of March 18th.”
The improvement plan was retaliatory and primarily based on unsubstantiated accusations against Joppy from the charge nurses that she had previously complained about, the lawsuit alleged. It also reflected “racially biased, stereotypical and harmful views of Black professionals,” she contended.
“The PIP was a sham,” the lawsuit said, as it called for weekly progress meetings with hospital management that never occurred during the 60-day period, which ended around the time of the elderly patient’s death on May 24, 2019.
The investigation into Joppy’s actions during the patient’s end-of-life care was initiated by Jordan, “one of the nurses who previously showed open animosity and hatred” towards Joppy and who had previously treated her more harshly than non-Black nurses, the lawsuit claimed, noting that Joppy had previously reported to two supervisors that she felt harassed and bullied by Jordan.
The lawsuit accused HCA-HealthOne and five hospital staff members of racial discrimination and the health care system of retaliation and malicious prosecution in violation of federal civil rights law.
In its answer in January 2024, HCA-HealthOne denied that it or its nurses “undertook any malicious conduct, fostered a racially hostile work environment, or engaged in discriminatory and/or retaliatory practices” against Joppy.
The defendants said that Joppy was terminated “for her failure to follow policies and protocols designed to provide patients with dignity, safety, and comfort during end-of-life care, and for practicing outside the scope of her practice.”
They denied that the hospital or its employees “had any authority to or actually did take any steps designed to end Plaintiff’s nursing career, or to cause criminal charges to be brought against her. Rather, Defendants’ interactions with the state arose from the Hospital’s independent statutory obligation to report to the state any concerning patient-related situations, such as this patient’s end-of-life care.”
The defendants further asserted that they “were not aware that the Hospital’s statutorily-required report to the state would give rise to the AG exercising its independent prosecutorial discretion to file criminal charges against Plaintiff. Defendants did not, and do not, support the criminal prosecution of caregivers for mistakes made in the course of their care.”
The answer noted that Joppy “had all the technical requirements for her position” and “on many occasions Plaintiff performed her duties in a satisfactory manner and received positive feedback” but argued that she “also had notable performance deficiencies and received negative feedback from patients and co-workers … culminating in her actions and decisions on May 24, 2019,” which “caused TMCA to conclude she was not qualified for her position.”
Last October, U.S. District Judge Charlotte N. Sweeney dismissed the lawsuit’s malicious prosecution claims, but allowed the discrimination and retaliation claims to proceed.
Joppy sought a jury trial to determine economic, compensatory and punitive damages to make up for lost wages and benefits, irreparable harm to her reputation and career, emotional distress, and mental anguish.
After a seven-day trial that concluded on Aug. 19, the jurors affirmed on their verdict form that Joppy had proven that the hospital terminated her in retaliation for her complaints about race discrimination, and awarded her $20 million — $5 million in compensatory damages and $15 million in punitive damages. Judge Sweeney approved the verdict the next day.
“This verdict represents a measure of justice after years of discrimination, retaliation, and false accusations,” her attorney Jennifer Robinson said in an emailed statement to Atlanta Black Star. “While no legal outcome can erase what she endured, Ms. Joppy hopes that this result will encourage hospitals and healthcare systems to take the concerns of frontline nurses seriously and to ensure that all employees are treated with dignity and fairness and their workplaces are free from racial discrimination.”
In her statement, Joppy said, “For six long years, I fought to defend my integrity as a nurse,” noting that she received “partial vindication” when a state court judge dismissed manslaughter charges against her. “But the full truth could only be restored when the hospital was held accountable for the false accusations, racial discrimination, retaliation, and bullying I endured. This verdict is that final piece, and I hope it brings change so that no other nurse has to go through what I went through.”
“We strongly disagree with the outcome of this trial and will appeal,” a spokesperson for HCA-HealthOne said in an emailed statement to Atlanta Black Star. “Ms. Joppy chose to turn off the ventilator on a living patient, which was outside the scope of her nursing license and not the standard of care for end-of-life patients. As a result, the patient event was reported to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) as required by law.”
“Ms. Joppy’s employment was terminated because of the actions she took, and those actions alone,” the statement continued. “We have the utmost respect for our patients and their family’s end-of-life decisions, and we honor those decisions to ensure the care, comfort, safety and dignity of our patients. Our hospital will continue working hard to foster an environment that treats our colleagues and patients with dignity and respect.”
Robinson further said that Joppy is “focused on healing and moving forward. She was deeply traumatized by the hospital’s treatment and is working to recover from the lasting impact and the hospital’s continued refusal to accept responsibility for its egregious conduct in spite of the jury’s verdict.”
Joppy told the Denver Post that she has had unstable housing since the hospital fired her, and had to live separately from her 15-year-old daughter because she no longer had the income to provide for her.
“I’m looking forward to my daughter and me healing together and having a home to call our own,” she said.
‘They Have Proof You Dumb—’: CBS Pulls the Plug On ICE Barbie Kristi Noem’s Sloppy Interview Filled with False MAGA Talking Points
Department of Homeland Security chief Kristi Noem went on a rant about CBS News on Sunday, accusing the network of an attempt to “whitewash” what Noem calls “the truth” about Salvadoran migrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
The Trump administration has called Abrego Garcia a MS-13 gang member and deported him to a notorious prison in El Salvador earlier this year. The Central American immigrant was brought back to the U.S. in June and charged with human smuggling.
Kristi Noem on CBS’s “Face the Nation” (Credit: CBS)Noem went on “Face the Nation” to discuss the deportation controversy then blasted CBS for “shamefully” cutting her answer to a question about him and her explanations on why he’s a threat to “American public safety.”
The DHS secretary took to social media after the interview, sharing a video of the 26 seconds that was cut where she called Abrego Garcia a “perverted” gang member and a “wifebeater.” She also accused the immigrant of requesting child porn from other inmates.
Well, yeah. They cut out the unproven, defamatory stuff so they wouldn't get sued. You can't just call someone MS-13, a pervert, and a human trafficker without any proof. https://t.co/wvLynhd8xD
— MeidasTouch (@MeidasTouch) August 31, 2025“This morning, I joined CBS to report the facts about Kilmar Abrego Garcia,” Noem wrote. “Instead, CBS shamefully edited the interview to whitewash the truth about this MS-13 gang member and the threat he poses to American public safety.”
In the post on X, Noem showed video of the CBS interview and a clip of her unedited response. She told CBS she did not want to see Abrego Garcia “walk free” in the U.S. again then listed his alleged criminal past, which CBS did not include in the interview because of the potential legal ramifications of broadcasting falsehoods and allegations.
“This individual was a known human smuggler, a MS-13 gang member, an individual who was a wife-beater, and someone who was so perverted that he solicited nude photos from minors. And even his fellow human traffickers told him to knock it off, he was so sick in what he was doing and how he was treating small children,” Noem said in the part that was edited out.
CBS News issued a statement saying it edited the interview to fit the time slot on “Face the Nation,” but that the full interview was published on its website.
“Secretary Noem’s ‘Face The Nation’ interview was edited for time and met all CBS News standards,” a spokesperson for CBS News said in a statement to The Hill. “The entire interview is publicly available on YouTube, and the full transcript was posted early Sunday morning at CBSNews.com.”
“So, he needs to never be in the United States of America,” Noem said in the full clip. “And our administration is making sure we’re doing all that we can to bring him to justice.”
Social media responses fell along predictable lines with the MAGA world dissing the network and opponents calling out Noem and the Trump administration’s “lies” about Abrego Garcia
“Well, yeah. They cut out the unproven, defamatory stuff so they wouldn’t get sued. You can’t just call someone MS-13, a pervert, and a human trafficker without any proof,” MediasTouch wrote on X.
“Awful: Kristi Noem just accused CBS of editing out her comments on Abrego Garcia. But the ‘suppressed’ quotes were mostly lies!” New Republic staff writer Greg Sargent added.
CBS is under zero obligation to air lies/unsubstantiated charges from Trump officials. Also note that when Trump extorted CBS for $16 million, he used *precisely this same tactic,* i.e. bogus claims of deceptive editing.
Settlement only encouraged them.https://t.co/crJJXR6No7 pic.twitter.com/jR21qmRt2a
Sargent then added, “CBS is under zero obligation to air lies/unsubstantiated charges from Trump officials. Also note that when Trump extorted CBS for $16 million, he used *precisely this same tactic,* i.e. bogus claims of deceptive editing. Settlement only encouraged them.”
Sargent referring there to the $16 million settlement the network agreed to after President Donald Trump sued over edits made to an interview with then presidential candidate Kamala Harris in 2024
MAGA didn’t go easy on CBS and were not buying the network’s explanation. “Shame on CBS. I can’t believe they still get away with this kind of thing. For those that don’t know, they were shamed into airing the full interview, after editing out the list of allegations against Garcia,” added one user under the full video on CBS’s Youtube page.
Another added, “So you blatantly edit the interview. Get caught and then put this full 1 on youtube. You need to be sued into the Ground. Corporate Media is a joke.”
In 2019 an immigration judge ruled Abrego Garcia could not be deported to El Salvador because of threats from local gangs. But in March the Trump administration flew the migrant, along with hundreds of other alleged gang members, to a prison in the Central American country.
Abrego Garcia has denied he is a gang member, but Noem is threatening to deport him to Uganda if he doesn’t admit to being a human smuggler. He denies this charge as well, and his lawyers are working on an asylum claim for him.
‘Stop Playing with Her’: Cardi B Walks Free from $24M Lawsuit After Going Off on Reporter Who Tried to Push Her Buttons
Cardi B was left steaming after a man with the paparazzi asked her a triggering question about her estranged husband, Offset while awaiting a life-changing verdict.
An inquisitive reporter tried to pry it out of her on Tuesday, Sept. 2, as she was leaving a Los Angeles courthouse following closing arguments in her civil trial, but, according to a video clip shared by TMZ, the mama bear was not having it.
Cardi B throws a pen at a journalist asking her about her alleged fourth pregnancy. (Photo: Iamcardib/Instagram)Dressed in a black polka dot blazer suit, the “Press” rapper walked out of the courthouse with members of her team and was met with a gaggle of people eager to ask her questions. Cardi was on trial for allegedly having a physical altercation with a former security guard, Emani Ellis, outside of an OBGYN office in 2018.
Upon leaving the courthouse during the lunch break, one person among the throng of questioners asked, “Cardi insiders are claiming that Offset is publicly bragging about getting you pregnant for the fourth time. Do you foresee any paternity issues with Stefon Diggs?”
She and Offset separated last year, and Cardi is currently dating NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs since. After giving birth to her and Offset’s third child together in September 2024, fans are convinced that she is pregnant for a fourth time.
After being helped down the courthouse stairs, Cardi walked over to a person holding a pen, grabbed it and threw it at the questioner.
Cardi pointed at the unidentified person and said, “Stop disrespecting me.”
That individual continued to probe the Bronx native.
“I still love you even though you just threw some stuff at me,” he said.
View this post on InstagramA post shared by TMZ (@tmz_tv)
The “Hustlers” star lashed out once again at the man. She said, “I don’t care. You’re disrespectful. Don’t do that. Do you see women asking those type of questions to me? You see women asking those questions to me?”
The man responded. “No ma’am,” before adding “It’s a legit question.”
Cardi, who was too heated to pause and hear what the man said, continued scolding him and pointing at him. She said, “Why do you feel as a man you get to ask me those type of questions? Act like you have some manners and your mama taught you to respect women.”
Before the video ended, she turned and proceeded to get in her vehicle.
One fan under TMZ’s video said, “She is definitely baking something in the oven.” Another said, “Stop playing with her she ain’t the one.”
Someone else commented about her behavior and said, “Being in court for … then caught on camera outside for another is crazy!”
Later that afternoon, Cardi B returned to the courtroom for the verdict, where the plaintiff’s lawyer argued that her explosive behavior toward the press, including throwing objects, should sway the judge’s verdict.
He added that his clients were in fear of her retaliation and demanded that she be “admonished” for staring at the plaintiff in court. But the judge refused to admonish her for an outburst or “conduct that the court didn’t witness.”
But Cardi was ultimately cleared of all charges against her, which included battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and false imprisonment.
She was involved in another lawsuit regarding a 2023 incident, where Cardi B threw her microphone into the crowd during a performance at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas after a concertgoer threw a drink at her. An Ohio woman subsequently filed a lawsuit for similar charges, but Cardi B was not charged in connection with the incident, and the outcome of the lawsuit has not been publicly disclosed.
Speculation about Cardi’s newest alleged pregnancy began after a summer to Disney with her kids. In July, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper and her children: Kulture, 7, Wave, 3, and then 10-month-old Blossom went to the theme park to celebrate Kulture’s birthday.
In the clips and photos, Cardi swapped her usual curve-hugging looks for an oversized red shirt and sneakers, a surprising choice for someone known for sex appeal. In one shot, she held Blossom while her other two kids posed nearby, her small belly visible beneath the shirt.

In August, she shared a video wearing a black bodysuit, heels, and a fur coat while rapping her new song “Imaginary Playerz,” strutting the hallway like a runway with her stomach partly hidden in some angles.
Though the “Up” rapper has yet to confirm the rumors, the rounded belly she attempts to keep hidden under her oversized clothes has added more fuel to the gossip.

She and Offset broke up twice before in 2018 and in 2020 — which resulted in her filing for divorce the first time. Throughout their on-again, off-again marriage, there have been constant rumors that Offset cheated on Cardi, which she seemingly confirmed during one of her rants while on Twitter Spaces.
This past May, TMZ reported that Offset filed an amended response to their divorce and is requesting an unspecified amount in spousal support. The documents say he still wants joint custody of their three kids but wants Cardi’s home to be listed as the primary residence.

The line, “Favorite player from your favorite team, he in my DM,” seemed aimed at Cardi’s new boyfriend, Diggs, now with the New England Patriots. First spotted together in October 2024, they went public courtside at a Knicks vs. Celtics game in May 2025.

‘Behavior of a Sociopath’: Donald Trump Caught In a Lie About Death Rumors as Viewers Point to Fresh ‘IV Marks’
President Donald Trump’s fumbling response to a question about the widespread internet rumors over the weekend that he was dead or seriously sick is fueling even more speculation about his health.
Although the President used a White House event on Tuesday to announce that Space Command is being relocated from Colorado to Alabama, it was really about showing he is very much alive, even though he doesn’t look very healthy, some observers say.

(Photo by Mandel NGAN / AFP) (Photo by MANDEL NGAN/AFP via Getty Images)Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked Trump, “How did you find out over the weekend that you were dead?”
“You see that?” Doocy asked in response to Trump’s clear confusion.
“No,” Trump answered wanly as he seemed shockingly confused about the question, even though he posted about the rumors over the weekend on his media platform, Truth Social.
“People didn’t see you for a couple days, 1.3 million user engagements as of Saturday morning about your demise,” Doocy continued.
“Really? I didn’t see that,” Trump said, either lying or forgetting that he knew about it.
“You know I have heard, it’s sort of crazy, but last week I did numerous news conferences, all successful, they went very well like this is going very well, and then I didn’t do any for two days and they said, ‘There must be something wrong with him.’ Biden wouldn’t do them for months. You wouldn’t see him and nobody ever said there was anything wrong with him and we know he wasn’t in the greatest of shape,” Trump complained.
“That was awkward,” this X user observed.
“He said no and then said he heard all about it 30 seconds later,” a Threads user said.
“It’s because it’s his natural habit. Deny. Deny. Deny,” another Threads user responded.
“Ha, Trump asked about the X hashtag TrumpDead. He said he wasn’t aware of it. So unlikely! Even so, he was alert and his speech fluent, albeit RAMBLING as usual. The best thing was the pained faces of JD Vance and others around him thinking ‘how much longer is this going on?’” X user Edward Anthony Rayne joked.
Trump’s persistent health issues in recent months are no secret. He has had swollen ankles and bruises on his hand, and he largely disappeared last week with no on-camera sightings.
And after Tuesday’s event, social posts zeroed in on Trump’s right hand, the one that was bruised recently.
View on Threads“It looks like there is an IV tube under some fake skin. I don’t think veins loop like that,” Ryan Simmons stated on Threads.
“So when is MAGA gonna start wearing mismatched patches of foundation on their right hands in solidarity?” Patty Miller wondered on Threads.

In addition to the internet rumors over the weekend that Trump had died, others are speculating that the president has been very sick.
In a phone interview on Tuesday morning, Trump mentioned how disappointed he is with Russian President Vladimir Putin. But more than Trump’s frustration that he can’t seem to broker a peace deal between Moscow and Ukraine, the audio of the Trump interview posted by conservative political pundit Scott Jennings was amplifying rumors about the President’s bad health.

— 20% (@pur3profit20) September 2, 2025‘Both Wanted Him Out’: Demi Moore Shocked Fans with Message to Bruce Willis’ Wife Emma After Critics Slammed the Decision to Move Him Out of the House
Demi Moore is publicly supporting Bruce Willis’ current wife Emma Heming Willis as she handles the actor’s frontotemporal dementia diagnosis. The actress appeared on “The Oprah Podcast” alongside Emma to discuss the caregiving challenges the family has faced since Bruce’s condition was revealed.
Moore, who divorced Bruce in 2000 but remains close to the family, acknowledged the difficult position Emma has been placed in as the primary caregiver.
Demi Moore publicly defended Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming Willis against criticism over her caregiving decisions as the actor battles frontotemporal dementia (Photo of Bruce Willis and Emma Heming Willis by emmahemingwillis/Instagram; Demi Moore/Instagram/ @demimoore)The two women appeared together as part of promoting Emma’s upcoming book about her caregiving experience, scheduled for release on Sept. 9.
“Being the ex-wife, even though our family is very connected, is an interesting position,” Moore said on the podcast.
Adding, “So much fell on Emma to really figure this whole thing out, and the most beautiful thing was recognizing the importance for caregivers and that they have to take care of themselves. If they don’t put that time into making sure that they’re OK, then they can’t show up for anyone else.”
The Academy Award nominee praised Emma’s handling of Bruce’s condition, which progressed from an initial aphasia diagnosis in 2022 to frontotemporal dementia in 2023. The disease has significantly impacted the 70-year-old actor, who no longer speaks and requires specialized care.
“I have so much compassion for Emma in this, being a young woman,” Moore explained. “There’s no way that anybody could have anticipated where this was going to go, and I really think she’s done a masterful job. She has been so dedicated to forging the right path. She’s had equal amounts of fear and strength and courage in navigating this.”
Emma’s caregiving decisions and Demi’s support of her have drawn mixed reactions on social media.
Supportive comments included one person writing, “Yo, in the end, it’s all about support, right? Gotta stick together in tough times. Respect, Demi!”
When People readers read the story on Facebook, they chimed in.
One user noted, “She has been a big help to Emma which I think is great as well as the older kids. They understand more than Emma’s kids do. They can actually help while Emma focuses on her kids.”
However, criticism has also emerged.
One harsh comment stated, “Demi divorced Bruce! So she does not know what compassion is to speak or recognize about how Emma handles the Actor’s medical issues.”
Another added, “Now, both Demi and Emma are teaming up faking show. If there is compassion in both women, both should learn how to do the care-taking of Bruce, instead, of putting him in nursing home. There is a family team ( Demi, Emma, and 5 daughters) who can do all the physical caring, body cleaning, nutrition therapy, and educational rehabilitation of Bruce by learning from licensed professionals and doctors, instead of letting strangers take care of him and his dirty laundry. Shame!”
Another negative comment claimed, “They both wanted him out of the house. Lots of common ground there, I guess.”
Frontotemporal dementia attacks brain areas controlling language and personality while typically leaving mobility intact. Bruce now lives in a one-story home with round-the-clock care, separate from Emma and their daughters Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11. Emma says she joins him for breakfast and dinner regularly.
Emma has faced particular criticism for the decision to move Bruce into specialized care. She addressed the backlash directly, referencing a section in her book titled “Opinion Versus Experience.”
The care provider stated, “The truth is, the opinions are so loud and noisy, but if they don’t have the experience, they don’t get a say — and they definitely don’t get a vote.”
The blended Willis family has remained united throughout Bruce’s illness. His daughters from his marriage to Demi — Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah —have supported Emma’s efforts. Moore continues providing updates about Bruce’s condition at public events, describing him as “stable.”
One supportive social media comment reflected many fans’ feelings: “Personally I think it’s wonderful that they are one united family. Those who criticism a caregiver’s choices can suck lemons.”
During the podcast, Moore shared her perspective on adapting to Bruce’s changed condition.
“It’s hard to see somebody who was so vibrant and strong and so directed shift into this other parts of themself,” she said. “It’s so important just to meet them where they’re at. Don’t have an expectation of them needing to be who they were or who you want them to be.”
The “Ghost” actress emphasized staying present rather than dwelling on what has been lost. “If you replay where it was and what you’ve lost, it only creates anxiety and grief,” she noted. “And so when you stay present, there is so much, and there’s still so much of him there.”
Emma’s book “The Unexpected Journey: Finding Strength, Hope, and Yourself on the Caregiving Path” details her experience navigating Bruce’s diagnosis and the family’s adjustment to their new reality. The memoir aims to guide other caregivers facing similar challenges.
Demi Moore thinks the book is needed, and her compassion for her ex-husband’s wife demonstrates how the Willis family has maintained unity despite the challenges posed by Bruce’s progressive illness and the public scrutiny surrounding their caregiving decisions.
‘Get These Aggressors Off the Streets!’: Five Teens Charged After Black Boy Beaten by Mob as He Defends Himself with a Chair In Viral Hate-Driven Attack
Five white teenagers have been charged with a hate crime following a racially motivated assault that injured a Black teenager and sparked outrage in one California community.
Viral footage of the Aug. 1 attack in Simi Valley shows several white teens chasing 18-year-old Michael Robinson around a movie theater parking lot, and punching and kicking him while calling him racial slurs.
Michael Robinson, 18, was abused around a movie theater parking lot. (Photo: YouTube screenshot/KCAL News)At one point, Robinson is seen trying to fend off the attackers with a chair as they swarm him and continue yelling racially derogatory terms. Robinson had to be treated at a hospital for a possible concussion, a chipped tooth, and several minor abrasions.
Two days after the attack, four of the teen assailants turned themselves in to Simi Valley police. They were cited with battery, then released back into the custody of their parents.
Authorities confirmed that one of the teenagers is the son of a Simi Valley police officer, but ensured that the relationship has “no bearing on the investigation.”
The citation and release from police custody drew backlash from community members, many of whom flocked to a city council meeting days after the attack and demanded more severe charges, given the brutality of the attack.
The Ventura County NAACP also called for an independent investigation into the incident.
“He was chased down, jumped and mocked for the color of his skin,” Jared Jasson, a friend of Robinson’s, said at the meeting, per the Ventura County Star. “This wasn’t a fight. It was a hate-driven attack, and it happened right here in our city. … When we ignore or excuse this kind of behavior, we’re sending a message that racism is allowed to exist in our community.”
“To the figures with actual authority, get these aggressors off the streets as they’ve proven to be nothing but unremorseful,” another Simi Valley resident said.
In the weeks since the attack, Simi Valley Police identified another teen involved in the melee.
On Aug. 20, law enforcement submitted the case to the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office and recommended prosecutors charge the five teenagers with assault likely to produce great bodily injury, criminal conspiracy, and a hate crime.
According to CBS News, the department said they are mandated to turn over serious and violent cases involving minors to the District Attorney’s Office. Cases in which racial motivation or discriminatory treatment are involved are also automatically referred to the DA’s office.
Confidentiality laws prevent police from releasing the identities of juvenile suspects.
The case is still under review with the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office’s Juvenile Unit.
‘Zero Compassion’: Florida Man Soaks Disabled Children with Sprinklers Every Morning for a Year All Because of a Bus Stop, Cops Say
A Florida man was arrested after he allegedly pointed and sprayed sprinklers at his neighbors with special needs for more than a year because he was upset that the location of their school bus stop was in front of his home.
Antonio Roman, 61, was charged with four counts of stalking, two counts of battery, and two counts of battery of a disabled person.
Roman confessed to deputies that he used his home surveillance cameras to monitor the arrival time of the bus and then manually activated the sprinklers to spray the victims intentionally when they were escorted out of their home.

(Photo: YouTube screenshot/WESH 2 News)According to NBC News, one of the victims is a 17-year-old who has been diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome, a genetic condition. The other victim is a 22-year-old with autism and Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome, also a genetic disorder.
California Woman Goes Viral for Harassing Black Women About Their Dresses. Her Comments Set Them Off
Marion County deputies discovered that the sprinklers were aimed at the bus stop and would turn on at the moment the bus arrived and shut off immediately after it left.
Cellphone footage showed the sprinkler system turning on and being aimed at one student in a wheelchair as he was escorted out of his home when a school bus arrived. It immediately turned off when the bus left.
The victims’ family first contacted the sheriff’s office to report Roman in April. Roman allegedly began spraying both victims starting in August 2024. The family says the children have been sprayed more than 400 times.
Roman allegedly sprayed the children twice a day every day, when they were loaded and unloaded from the bus each day. The victims’ father said he had to wear swimming attire to shield the children from the water.
The family stated that they had contacted the school district and the homeowner’s association to request a relocation of the bus stop, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
The 61-year-old told investigators that he was upset about the location of the bus stop, which used part of his driveway for a wheelchair ramp needed by one of the victims. The sheriff’s office also reported that Roman had called their agency 75 times since June 2023 to complain about the victims.
“His big beef was over the school bus pulling up to pick up special needs children,” said Lt. Paul Bloom with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, per WESH. “When they had to lower a wheelchair ramp, it would come over on his side, towards his driveway, so this child could load up onto the school bus.”
Roman was released from jail after posting a $4,000 bond. He’ll be back in court on Sept. 16.
“Somewhere in his heart, there is 0% compassion, so we thought the best thing to do was bring him here [the jail] and give him a lot of other neighbors – inside of a jail cell. He’s going to have learn to get along with other people,” Bloom said.
‘Whew! I Felt Kandi’: Kandi Burruss Cries Pleading with Gospel Star Le’Andria Johnson to Change After ‘Looking Crazy In Front of the World’
Gospel singer Le’Andria Johnson is ready to rebuild her career amid a years-long battle with alcohol. Johnson, 43, has had a series of run-ins with law enforcement while inebriated dating back to 2019, when she was arrested.
The “Sunday Best” showstopper briefly cleaned up her act after completing a 30-day jail sentence and a 30-day rehabilitation program, though the grips of her addiction resurfaced in 2024 and 2025.
And now, fellow singer Kandi Burruss has stepped in offering a helping hand.
Kandi Burruss (left) offers to help Le’Andria Johnson (right) rebuild her gospel career, but only if Johnson gains control of her alcohol addiction. (Photo: “Speak On It” via Kandi Burruss on YouTube)Johnson was first arrested in Greenville, South Carolina, for public intoxication a year ago, and again this past February in Arlington, Virginia.
The talented vocalist claimed on a new “Speak On It” episode with host Kandi Burruss that she has since dismissed several people from her team who had not contributed to her sobriety efforts.
Johnson also spoke about working on new music but still being in need of a management team. The Xscape songstress said she was willing to help but that her gospel contemporary would have to listen to her guidance.
The judgment-free conversation was an emotional topic as Burruss revealed she has firsthand experience of witnessing a similar scenario play out with someone she cares about.
Through tears, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” OG told Johnson, “When we love somebody, we’re not gonna let them look crazy in front of the world.”

She continued, “We are going to do what we can to be like, okay, make sure they hear. … Even though they’re not understanding what’s happening around them. We see what’s happening around you. We see it. We wanna fix it, but we can’t until you decide.”
Johnson told Burruss, “A lot of people out there, they do think I don’t care. It’s a lot of people out there that feel like I’m not taking accountability. … I’mma get through it. I wanna get through it, and I do want better. … I don’t need it. I know that for a fact. … I just do it.”
One viewer praised Burruss for handling Johnson with care during the chat. That person remarked, “You can feel Kandi’s Heart.” Another said, “‘Whew! I felt Kandi deeply.”

Another commented, “I hope this is the breakthrough she needs,” as a snippet of the conversation circulated on Instagram.
On YouTube, a second person expressed doubt. They wrote, “She can’t even admit that she has an addiction.”
The gospel powerhouse released her last album, “Bigger Than Me” in 2017. Her latest single, “Don’t Sleep On Me,” was met with fan support in April.
‘Too Too Thin’: ‘All My Children’ Star Susan Lucci’s Looks Unrecognizable in New Photos as Fans Zoom In
Former “All My Children” star Susan Lucci has fans zooming in on her appearance after she shared a selfie with her fans online.
The soap opera icon shared the picture on Aug. 31, of herself posing the mirror, wearing a purple and pink strapless dress with hints of red and black.
The 78-year-old actress is known for her age-defying looks, and Lucci was sporting a hot pink strapless dress in the Instagram selfie. However, the soap legend looked much smaller than fans remembered her from the show.
Some fans were surprised at Susan Lucci’s appearance in recent photos shared online. (Photo: @therealsusanlucci/Instagram)“On my way to the wedding!!! #loveyou, jessicaandpatrick,” Lucci captioned the post. Many fans loved the picture and noted her more youthful appearance since playing Erica Kane on the ABC soap opera from 1970-2013.
“You get more beautiful with each passing year,” wrote one. “How could that be? I lived for the Erica/Mona scenes! My mom and dad even bought me the Susan Lucci shampoo and tote bag. They said if it’s good enough for Susan Lucci…Adore you from afar.”
“I swear you haven’t aged one bit. I need whatever you’re using, because honey, you are flawless,” exclaimed another.
Other fans took note of Lucci’s small frame in the Instagram photograph. “Oh my,” added another fan, prompting another fan to reply, “Beautiful but way too thin!”
View this post on InstagramA post shared by Susan Lucci (official) (@therealsusanlucci)
“She’s had 2 carrot sticks and one gherkin since February,” joked another fan. “Yes she needs to gain even a couple pounds. Too too thin,” agreed one fan.
Lucci underwent emergency heart surgery back in 2018. She told “Entertainment Tonight” that she had felt some pressure in her chest, but hadn’t realized the seriousness of it all until medical professionals weighed in.
“I don’t think I realized what an emergency it was until they told me what an emergency it was,” the actress recalled. “I had some mild pressure on my chest last October a couple of times, and it went away, and because I’ve never had a health issue. I thought it was nothing. And then the third time it happened, I was shopping for a birthday present for a girlfriend in a boutique, and it was overwhelming. It felt like an elephant pressing on my chest.”
The actress learned that she 90 percent blockage in her main artery, and a 75 percent blockage in an adjacent artery. “You just avoided a widow-maker,” the professionals advised her.
Since “All My Children” ended, Susan Lucci has kept busy both on and off screen. She’s taken on new acting roles, including a part in the 2024 Apple TV+ film Outcome and a starring role in the play “My First Ex-Husband.”
Beyond acting, she has become a leading advocate for women’s heart health as a national ambassador for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign, a cause she embraced after surviving a near-fatal heart condition herself. Lucci also released her memoir, “La Lucci,” in 2026, where she reflects on her decades-long career and personal journey.
Outside of work, she continues to focus on her health, following a Mediterranean diet and keeping up a consistent fitness routine.
‘MAGA Will Collapse’: People Say Trump’s Base Would Never Take Orders from ‘Hillbilly’ JD Vance After Viral Clip Has Everyone Fuming
President Donald Trump’s gold-drenched Oval Office has a new fan in JD Vance — but the internet brought receipts. Old viral clips of Vance revealing questionable thoughts about Trump are resurfacing just as questions about the president’s health grab fresh headlines, turning flattery into a tell.
Vance gushed about his son adoring Trump’s redesign of the Oval Office.

(Photo by Mandel NGAN / AFP) (Photo by MANDEL NGAN/AFP via Getty Images)“His favorite color is gold. And whenever he walks into the Oval Office, he’s just blown away by it because it does have a bright, lively feel,” Vance said in an interview published Aug. 28 with USA Today about his son Vivek’s favorite color.
“And I think it’s fitting for, again, the place where the leader of the free world comes to work every day.”
But Vance’s praise is hitting a wall online with critics saying it’s “so obvious he’s faking it,” pointing to resurfaced footage of the Ohio Republican torching Trump before his rise in GOP politics.
In the past, Vance openly called himself a “Never Trump guy” and labeled Trump an “idiot,” according to Politico.
In an exclusive interview with USA TODAY, Vice President JD Vance revealed his son’s love for Trump’s golden Oval Office and praised its brighter look. pic.twitter.com/078MoCxQZw
— USA TODAY Politics (@usatodayDC) August 28, 2025He didn’t stop there. In a New York Times op-ed, Vance wrote that “Mr. Trump is unfit for our nation’s highest office.” Vance wants everyone to forget about his previous comments and admitted during the 2024 vice presidential debate that “he was wrong.”
Now he’s in the White House with Donald Trump who went to town remaking the President’s formal workspace with gaudy, bling-laden golden accents, including the room’s 18-foot-6-inch ceiling. He added gold curtains behind the Resolute Desk, gilded tables supported by gold eagles and elaborate shiny filigree on the walls and fireplace.
He also added golden flower vases across the mantelpiece, hung enormous, gilded mirrors and reframed paintings of former presidents in ornate gold frames. Additionally, Trump added gold trim details along the ceiling and doorways and even painted the cherubs inside the door frames gold.
A new piece of Trump-styled Oval Office decor has critics questioning if Trump's taste is opulence or overkill.https://t.co/e3IPde5Qbe
— Atlanta Black Star (@ATLBlackStar) August 10, 2025And of course the garish remodel wouldn’t be complete without gold coasters stamped with Trump’s name and the number 47, for the 47th president.
Vance told the news outlet that he was impressed and “overwhelmed” by the office when he first visited after he and Trump won the 2024 presidential election.
“But if I was being honest, it was the middle winter, the drapes were closed. It was very dark,” Vance said.
“It had kind of a dark and gloomy feeling. This is the workplace of the leader of the free world. It should be a little brighter.”
The now viral video of Vance’s earlier Trump criticisms is now being shared alongside his Oval Office praise, reframing the compliments as strategic flattery rather than sincerity.
“Vacation Vance is a complete phony. He became what he detested and it’s so obvious that he’s faking it all right now,” one Threads user wrote.
Another argued: “He can’t stand Trump! He’s only using him to get in the White House to carry out Project 2025.” One asked simply, “How can Trump trust him?”
View on ThreadsA third remarked with a full thesis: “I’m also in conspiracy mode because what if this was JD and Peter Thiel’s plan all along. They knew Trump wasn’t going to last a presidency and maybe even manipulated those odds as well…”
The commenter continued, “…Thiel bought Vance’s way into VP so when the inevitable happened, Thiel could “take the throne” (sort to say) & JD Vacation wouldn’t care either way as long as he got a few bucks and a couch to f***. They’ve already mentioned how they want to turn DC into a billionaire colony…”
Some wonder if MAGA will hold up under Vance’s leadersip and whether MAGA will follow in lockstep. “If he does pass on, MAGA will collapse. They won’t follow orders from JD Vance,” said one Threads user.
Vance, for his part, has tried to steady the narrative. In an interview last week with USA Today, he insisted Trump is in “incredibly good health,” adding, “Yes, terrible tragedies happen… But I feel very confident the president of the United States is in good shape, is going to serve out the remainder of his term… And if, God forbid, there’s a terrible tragedy, I can’t think of better on-the-job training than what I’ve gotten over the last 200 days.”
That moment seemed to come nearer for Vance this past weekend. After several days without public events and growing concerns about his health thanks in part to viral photos highlighting bruising on his hand, swollen ankles and too many mental slips to count, speculation of Trump’s passing was running rampant across social medial. By Saturday morning, Trump was photographed on the golf course at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virgina, only partially putting the rumors to rest.
‘She’s Lucky She Could’ve Killed Someone!’: Nurse Practitioner Exposed for Lying About Crash After Viral Dashcam Shows What She Was Really Doing Behind the Wheel
A careless driver was caught in the act after lying to cover up the cause of a crash in a rental car.
A viral dashcam video from Aug. 25 has social media in an uproar after it captured a nurse practitioner crashing a rented Turo vehicle while texting with both hands off the wheel.
A driver was captured on dash cam video veering off the road and crashing. (Photo: Instagram/Dashcam.encounters)The crash, which happened near Arlington, Washington, highlighted the risks of distracted driving and left the car totaled.
For nearly 20 seconds while speeding, the driver’s eyes stayed locked on her phone. With both hands busy texting, she drifted off the rural two-lane road and smashed into someone’s property. She walked away without serious injury, but the car was declared a total loss, according to the owner.
View this post on InstagramA post shared by Dashcam Encounters (@dashcam.encounters)
The renter initially told the car’s owner that another driver ran her off the road. The footage told a very different story. It shows her completely glued to her phone until impact.
That false claim only intensified outrage.
“Putting her on blast because what the hell were you thinking to lie to me when you knew there was a dashcam that captured the entire thing. I put my car on Turo to make extra money and trusted that the renter wouldn’t destroy it. That trust is gone,” the owner wrote.
The owner also vowed to pursue the strongest legal action possible.
Texting is a factor in about 1 in 5 distracted driving deaths, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). A 2023 AAA Foundation study found that texters are six times more likely to cause crashes than drunk drivers.
“It is terrifying knowing that there are people like that on the roads,” wrote an Instagram viewer. “And she screams and cries like she wasn’t on her phone the whole damn time honestly rarely looking at the road. She’s lucky she didn’t kill someone,” another viewer wrote.
The Arlington crash, now spreading widely online, serves as a stark reminder of those risks and a poignant lesson about accountability.
“Nice one, Karen,” one viewer quipped.
‘He Has No Vocabulary‘: Trump’s Latest Slip Ignites Frenzy as Newsom ‘Fans’ Deliver Brutal Correction
Donald Trump plans to sign every executive order that will amplify his chances of securing a third term ahead of the 2028 presidential election. He already supports the idea of an indefinitely installed leader, and now, he wants to control how votes are cast, even though the U.S. Constitution mandates that states run elections, not the federal government.
In an Aug. 30 Truth Social post, he wrote, “Voter I.D. Must Be Part of Every Single Vote. NO EXCEPTIONS! I Will Be Doing An Executive Order TO That End!!! Also, No Mail-In Voting, Except For Those That Are Very ILL, And The Far Away Military. USE PAPER BALLOTS ONLY!!! DJT.”
Trump Tried to Roast Him, But Newsom’s Clapback About the Body Part He Always Covers Up Had Everyone in Stitches‘No Way Trump Wrote That’: Gavin Newsom’s Hilarious Jab at Trump Has MAGA Supporters Fuming While Health Questions Linger
Legally, anyone unable to vote in person due to illness or, say, for instance, service men and women who are deployed abroad, can use the mail-in ballot. Various iterations of this format have existed since the Civil War.
Additionally, all voters, whether casting a ballot in person or via mail, are required to have a valid driver’s or state-issued I.D. — even residents who don’t appear on a precinct’s voter registration list are provided a provisional ballot on Election Day until their status is confirmed. If not registered, their vote will not be counted.
Yet, somehow the mere existence of these facts went unnoticed by Trump. Social media users moved quickly to acknowledge the gaffe. One X user wrote, “Did Donald skip class the day that lesson was taught?”
Even a parody account of Gov. Gavin Newsom took a swing at Trump. California’s governor has been incessantly mocking the president and his MAGA base for weeks with facts.

On IG Threads, a reactor asked, “What does he think are getting mailed in? Thoughts and prayers?” An X user remarked, “Trump struggling with English is the least of our problems. Watching him call overseas troops ‘far away military’ is peak unprepared CEO energy… Somebody get him a dictionary… or maybe just a nap.”
OH MY GOD.
Gavin Newsom just reenacted Trump’s cabinet meeting.

Similarly, Trump’s education took a hit when a second X user scoffed, “He has no vocabulary.” Despite Trump claiming to have invented words like caravan and equalizing, Newsom and others are not letting up on calling out his many blunders, especially not voting rights.
‘Same Exact Patch Trump Had’: Gordon Ramsay’s Diagnosis Behind the Bandage Has Fans Wondering If It’s the Same Reason Donald Trump Wore One
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay sent shock waves through social media over the weekend when he revealed his recent battle with skin cancer, sharing images of surgical bandages that fans online are now comparing to images of Donald Trump’s hand.
Ramsay’s bandage spans from his earlobe to his neck after undergoing a procedure to remove basal cell carcinoma from his jawline.
(Photos: @gordonramsayofficial / TikTok; Kevin Dietsch/Getty Images)The 58-year-old restaurateur used the moment to advocate for sun protection, telling his millions of Instagram followers to remember their sunscreen while adding his trademark humor to lighten the serious diagnosis.
The “Hell’s Kitchen” star’s candid post about his health scare quickly garnered widespread support, with fans flooding his comments section with well-wishes and prayers for his recovery.
However, the conversation took an unexpected turn as many observers noticed a striking similarity between Ramsay’s post-surgical bandaging and something they’d seen before on a very different public figure.
View this post on InstagramA post shared by Gordon Ramsay (@gordongram)
When the Spiritual Word Instagram page posted an image of Ramsay’s bandage, social media users were quick to draw comparisons to President Donald Trump’s recent illness and what many believe is a patch.
One person wrote, “He got what Trump got??”
Another chimed in with, “This look like the same thing that was on trump’s hand,” while a third commented, “Same exact patch Trump had on his hand.”
The observations sparked a wave of speculation, with one user noting, “I feel like he’s telling us trump has the same thing cause of that patch on his hand.”
Despite the comparisons, most responses focused on supporting Ramsay’s recovery, with heartfelt messages like “Lord do your big one.. not Gordon right now please” demonstrating the genuine concern fans felt for the beloved chef.
The confusion appeared to stem from visual similarities between Ramsay’s legitimate medical bandaging and the makeup patches frequently seen covering areas on Trump’s hands.
both of these photos of Trump's hand were taken today (Getty) pic.twitter.com/oeBKYsq8TG
— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) August 23, 2025Trump’s hand discoloration has been a subject of public scrutiny throughout 2024 and into 2025, with the president often spotted wearing what appears to be a sloppy patch of makeup smeared across bruised areas on his right hand, according to New York Magazine.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has attributed the discoloration to bruising from vigorous handshaking and the president’s use of aspirin as part of his cardiovascular prevention routine. However, recent photographs showing clumsy makeup application have continued to fuel speculation about the true nature of what’s being concealed.
The concealer patches have become increasingly noticeable in public appearances, with healthcare professionals suggesting, according to MedPage.com, that bruising from handshakes alone would be unusual, pointing instead to age-related blood vessel fragility as a more likely explanation.
The close-up photographs are from Trump’s visit to The People’s House exhibit, USA Today reports, noting the particularly obvious makeup work, highlighting obvious makeup, sparking renewed questions about transparency regarding his health.
this is the worst ive seen the makeup on trumps hand. you can see it on live tv right now it's so bad it looks like a patch
https://t.co/g5CQebDwHq pic.twitter.com/XNKUGzf7Jp
Adding to the intrigue, in July the White House announced Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous, though officials maintain this condition is unrelated to the hand bruising. The president has also dealt with visible injuries requiring actual bandages, including the earlobe wound from the July 2024 assassination attempt in Pennsylvania, which required a legitimate medical covering during his recovery.
The celebrity chef’s illness is serious. He joins a growing list of celebrities, including Khloe Kardashian, Hugh Jackman, and Kevin Jonas, who have publicly shared their skin cancer experiences to raise awareness, according to The Washington Post.
His straightforward approach to discussing his diagnosis serves as a reminder of the importance of regular health screenings and sun protection, turning a personal health scare into a valuable public service message.
Gordon Ramsay shared his health struggles, turning his skin cancer diagnosis into a lesson on sun safety. Trump’s hidden injuries, however, keep people guessing and fuel ongoing questions about what he’s really disclosing — and what he might be hiding.
‘A Modern-day Stockade’: Lawsuit Reveals Pennsylvania Teacher’s Disturbing Punishment of Black Teen Who Fell Asleep in Class
The parents of a Black high school student are suing the Williamsport Area School District in Pennsylvania after their son was strapped to a medical backboard by a teacher for appearing to sleep during class.
The incident occurred on May 28 in the classroom of Richard Caschera, who was hired by Williamsport Area High School three weeks earlier to teach in the homeland security program of the school’s career and technical education program.
Caschera had no prior teaching experience and held a temporary teaching certificate that did not require any education credentials, according to the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Pennsylvania on Aug. 21 and obtained by Atlanta Black Star.

(Photo: WBRE screenshot)The class was taking a test that day, and the minor plaintiff, a junior, identified in the lawsuit as “N.W.,” asked to use the restroom multiple times, but was denied. The boy then put his head down on his desk.
Caschera reacted by having another student place smelling salts under the boy’s nose, according to the lawsuit, which noted that the student had several significant allergies and was under a 504 plan. In Pennsylvania, 504 plans provide accommodations for students with a qualifying disability to ensure they can participate in educational programs.

N.W., or Nathaniel Woods III, according to his attorney Joseph Montgomery, has ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder).
“Keeping his head down during unstructured time is a strategy to emotionally regulate,” Montgomery, whose practice focuses on special education matters, told Atlanta Black Star.
When the boy didn’t raise his head fast enough, the teacher directed students to secure Nathaniel to a medical backboard, immobilizing him with a strap at or just below his neck. Caschera then turned the backboard 90 degrees, making it vertical.
The minor was forced to stand on his toes to avoid the strap pressing on his throat and was left in this state for several minutes, the lawsuit says. He later said he had to feign coughing to get Caschera to let him down.
Before allowing the boy off the backboard, Caschera allegedly asked, “Are you going to stay awake?”
About a dozen students witnessed the incident, the complaint says.
Nathaniel was then sent out of class for asking to use the restroom and was given a zero on the test administered that day. He was also required to serve detention for being sent out of class.
The boy went home and told his parents, Page Carol Woods and Nathaniel Woods Jr., what happened that day. They were reportedly shocked and upset, and contacted school faculty and administrators, demanding an explanation.
Alicia Differ, the associate principal, was “astonished” to learn from the parents N.W.’s version of events and got Matthew Fisher, the school’s director of Career and Technical Education, involved, according to the complaint. Page Woods had several conversations and meetings with Differ and Fisher over the days that followed.
Differ and Fisher spoke with Caschera about the incident, who allegedly “did not see the wrong in what he did,” the lawsuit says. Caschera also reportedly said that he was “holding N.W. to a higher standard than his peers.”
N.W. apologized to Caschera, the complaint states, and on May 30, his mother told Fisher that it was only fair for Caschera to apologize to her son “for what he put him through.”
Fisher indicated this was a reasonable request and directed Caschera to do so.
The following Monday, Caschera informed the student through an internal message that he had until 3 p.m. to take the makeup test, but then forced the student to complete the test before the end of class, the complaint states.
By Tuesday morning, Caschera still had not apologized to the boy. His mother again contacted Fisher and Differ regarding the apology and the reason for rescheduling the makeup test. Caschera was unable to explain his reasoning for the timing of the test.
In a subsequent meeting with N.W., Fisher and Caschera, Caschera allegedly told the boy, “I apologize, but, when I saw your head down, I went into scenario mode.”
“The excuse that he was in ‘scenario mode’ does not mesh with his prior statement when he conditioned the student being released from confinement on a promise not to sleep in class,” the plaintiffs argue.
Caschera became irate and emotional during the meeting, the lawsuit says.
Both parents then met with Caschera and Fisher, who allegedly pulled them aside and asked them to remember that Caschera had only been teaching 15 to 20 days.
Dr. Justin Ross, head principal, allegedly also told N.W. that he should “give the teacher a chance.”
Montgomery said Caschera was “a substitute with a temporary license and should never have been allowed in a classroom.” Among other deficiencies, Montgomery said, the teacher did not have a copy of Nathaniel’s 504 plan, which would have informed him that the student has ADHD and requires special accommodations, including extended time for test-taking.
“What that instructor gave his class that day was a lesson on bullying,” Montgomery said.
Caschera’s courses are currently being covered by a long-term substitute, the complaint says. The school board accepted Caschera’s resignation at a meeting on Aug. 12, reported sungazette.com.
Since the incident, Montgomery said that Nathaniel’s parents perceive that their son has lost his usual spark.
“They are a super supportive family who spent their lives building up Nathaniel’s spirit and self-esteem — spiritually, religiously, in the community, athletically,” Montgomery told Atlanta Black Star. “He was just a ball of energy who has always made people smile. Since this incident, there’s been a death of that spirit. He feels defeated and to blame, although he’s absolutely not. He can’t understand how an adult could do something like this to him, just putting him in a modern-day stockade, publicly embarrassing him in front of his entire class.”
Nathaniel Woods, Jr., told WBRE that his son was anxious about returning to school.
“There was so much trepidation in my son. You could see the fear,” he said. “You could see the anxiety, the uncertainty, the uncomfortability. You could see it in him, but he wasn’t going to say, ‘Oh, I’m scared out my mind to go back to this class.'”
The lawsuit accuses all of the defendants — the school district, Caschera, Ross, Fisher, Differ, and five unnamed individuals — of unreasonable search and seizure in violation of the Fourth Amendment and Pennsylvania law, arguing that the student posed no threat, and that the use of a medical backboard as a form of punishment was an excessive and disproportionate use of force.
The school district maintained a practice of “processing teachers for the licensing option with the least restrictive educational requirements,” which resulted in an untrained teacher with no prior experience or credentials being allowed to teach vulnerable children unsupervised in the classroom, the complaint contends.
The lawsuit also seeks unspecified compensatory and punitive damages against Caschera on claims of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and false imprisonment.
Forcibly strapping the boy to the backboard made Nathaniel think that he might be assaulted again and caused him emotional distress, fear, anxiety and other trauma that continues to this day, the lawsuit claims. Caschera’s conduct was “extreme and outrageous,” particularly in the context of a teacher-student relationship, where the teacher occupies a position of authority and trust.”
The alleged unlawful seizure and assault were motivated by racial animus, the lawsuit asserts.
“He was the only Black male in the class, and the only student publicly humiliated,” said Montgomery.
The plaintiffs — Page Carol Woods, Nathaniel Woods Jr. and Nathaniel Woods III — seek a jury trial to determine compensatory and punitive damages, and to award them legal costs.
They also seek a declaratory judgment from the court that the defendants violated the student’s rights under the U.S. Constitution and Pennsylvania law, and that their actions constituted unlawful and excessive punishment in an educational setting.
The Williamsport Area School District told reporters that it would not comment on pending litigation. The district and other defendants in the case have 21 days after being served with the lawsuit to file a response.
‘A Little Decorum Would Be Nice’: Meagan Good Flashes Her Backside in Sheer Dress After Ditching Christian Image Post DeVon Franklin Divorce
Old habits never die — or at least that’s what fans are saying about Meagan Good, who made a grand appearance with husband Jonathan Majors at last week’s AAFCA TV Honors.
The star-studded evening honoring Black excellence in television turned heads when the pair arrived hand-in-hand, but all fans online could focus on was Good’s provocative wardrobe.

(Photos: Meagangood/Instagram; Devonfranklin/Instagram.The “Divorce In Black” star commanded attention in a form-fitting sheer gown featuring a corset-style bodice and a high slit above her right thigh, showcasing her metallic heels.
She completed the flesh-toned look with her signature braided hairstyle and a diamond choker, while Majors complemented her in a tailored linen suit in a similar hue. In one Instagram post, the actress is pictured with her back to the cameras, glancing over her shoulder and revealing her see-through backside.
Good appears to be returning to her sexy, silhouette-hugging styles she once wore before her conservative marriage to Pastor DeVon Franklin. Many fans believe she’s simply displaying her freedom and independence as a woman who can wear what she wants, while some self-proclaimed wardrobe police insist she should know when to draw the line.
“Her dress is nice, just a little bit too small,” one person wrote on Facebook, while another said, “That dress is so indecent.”
A third person bluntly stated. “I see why the pastor … nvm.”

Many have accused Good of ditching her Christian values and image after divorcing Pastor Franklin. The authors of “The Wait: A Powerful Practice for Finding the Love of Your Life and the Life You Love” were married for almost a decade before they divorced in 2022.
The former couple each went through their own healing journeys after the divorce, emphasizing that no one person was to blame and never revealing the exact reason for the split. Still, they’ve shared their experiences in interviews, on event stages, and online.
“It’s okay to acknowledge the loss,” Franklin said in a sermon during part three of his One of One series, “Unmarried & Unbothered.” “Because in the feeling, that’s where the healing is. I can’t get delivered from my broken heart if I don’t acknowledge my heart is broken.”
The “Harlem” actress admitted her faith was tested for years after their divorce, feeling conflicted about the criticism of ending her 10-year marriage just like her parents did.
Following criticism of her return to her revealing clothing choices, Good said, “I’m not any less holy because [of] the dress I wore. I may not be who people think I should be, but I’m morphing into exactly who God wants me to be. My excuse is never ‘I’m going to do me’ and I don’t feel that I need to make an excuse or defend what I wore … I know I have a responsibility and I’m working daily to fulfill the full potential of all God has created me to be.”
Both moved on to date and marry younger partners. Franklin, 47, wed fitness trainer and social media influencer Maria Castillo, 29, after just over a year of dating in August 2025—five months after Good and the “Lovecraft Country” star tied the knot following nearly two years together.

(Photos: @devonfranklin/Instagram; Leon Bennett/Getty Images for EBONY)A few zoomed in on a separate video of Good, 44, and Majors, 35, on the red carpet, noticing the “Creed III” star failed to lean in for a kiss as his wife puckered up her lips.
“No man wants everyone to be looking at his woman and Meagan wants everyone to look at her look at that split. I won’t even kiss her bro u did the right thing,” one person said, speculating on what they saw as tension in the marriage. “That is a signal, good luck to forever because that looks like it’s done. He’s insulting her like that because Meagan always wants to be the center of attention.”
Another advised, “She’s all that and some, but a little decorum would be nice.”
Good faced scrutiny for dating Majors while he was embroiled in a widely publicized trial over allegations from a previous girlfriend. Good accompanied him to court and remained by his side after he was convicted and sentenced to probation.
During this period, the Marvel actor lost several brand deals and movie roles, leading many to believe Good picked up the child support payments for Major’s daughter from a separate relationship.
‘Dumbest Thing I’ve Heard’: Donald Trump Aide Pulls Fake Stat to Justify Smithsonian Whitewash, But the Internet Isn’t Having It
President Donald Trump’s PR flack is trying to whitewash the president’s executive order to overhaul the Smithsonian Institution and rid it of “race-centered ideology” to reflect a more positive image of American history.
In an interview on Newsmax, former Florida property lawyer and current assistant to the president for domestic policy and the special assistant to the president and senior associate staff secretary, Lindsey Halligan, said the Smithsonian “should reflect American exceptionalism.”

‘We live in the greatest country in the world and our Smithsonian Institution, which is really the foundation of our education system as a whole and is over 70 percent funded by taxpayers, should reflect American exceptionalism … 98 percent of the population should not be forced to accommodate or adjust their morals to make less than 2 percent of the population comfortable,” Halligan pontificated.

— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) August 29, 2025A clip of Halligan’s interview has gone viral, creating a social media uproar.
“Let me translate this for you. ‘More positivity and patriotism’ means ‘stop mentioning slavery and all the other bad stuff we did.’ ‘Adjust their morals’ means ‘confronting any uncomfortable fact.’ And ‘less than 2% of the population’ means ‘anyone who isn’t a straight, white, Christian Republican,’” Projekt Europa posted on X.
“Where are they getting these numbers? Only 2% of the country wants a factual representation of American History? The gaslighting is so far over the top, they’re not even trying to make an argument that could be viewed as rational,” this X user fumed.
“Dumbest thing I’ve heard from an Administration sock puppet today. But it’s still early…,” another user quipped.
“Translation: We no longer want anyone to discuss slavery, Jim Crow, etc. and its effect these United States,” social media user TD McClellan pointed out.
X user Rod Delph summed it up neatly: “It’s racism and that is actually very American, unfortunately.”
Over the past weeks, Trump has amplified his attacks on the Smithsonian, the world’s largest museum, education and research complex. It boasts 21 museums, 14 education and research centers and the National Zoo.
In his most recent rant over the museum system, Trump took to his Truth Social platform, claiming that the Smithsonian was “OUT OF CONTROL” for displaying the negative parts of American history, including “how bad slavery was.”
“The Museums throughout Washington, but all over the Country are, essentially, the last remaining segment of “WOKE,” Trump complained, suggesting he might go after other museums around the country.
“President Trump will explore all options and avenues to get the Woke out of the Smithsonian and hold them accountable,” the White House said in a statement to NPR. “He will start with the Smithsonian and then go from there.”
Trump issued an executive order in March demanding that the Smithsonian revamp its exhibits by focusing on a more positive view of American history. Critics have quickly raised the red flag, warning that the president is trying to rewrite and censor the past.
‘A Karen Followed Me Home’: Video Shows White Neighbor Block Black Woman’s Driveway, Trespass on Her Property After Road Dispute
A Black woman pulled into the driveway of her beautiful home in a leafy suburb, likely hoping to relax once she got inside. But as soon as she stepped out of her car, she was confronted by an angry white neighbor who had followed her home, blocked her driveway with an SUV, and trespassed on her property.
The reason? According to the rattled homeowner, the older white woman was furious that she didn’t yield and give her the right of way when they were both driving on the same road. Meanwhile, the homeowner had no recollection of the incident.
A video screenshot shows a woman in a confrontation (Photo: Instagram/imthatone4lyfe)The proliferation of entitled white behavior caught on video has led many sites to dedicate almost their entire feed to this kind of unhinged conduct, and that’s exactly where this video first popped up, on @imthatone4lyfe on Instagram, a sort of Karen clearinghouse.
With the words “POV: A Karen followed me home” flashing across the screen, viewers watched as the strange interaction unfolded, with the homeowner admonishing the senior almost like a child. “Girl, get out of my driveway. Get the f–k on. Like, what is wrong with you? Girl, what are you doing?” the maddened homeowner said.
The dispute quickly led to dueling camera phones and threats to call the police on each other, along with a few choice insults. “You opened your potty mouth first, dear,” said the trespasser, who had finally moved off her neighbor’s lawn and onto the street — though her vehicle was still blocking the driveway.
“I live here, I can say whatever the f–k I want. I’m also grown as sh-t,” yelled the homeowner, clearly upset.
“Oh, well, you don’t drive like you are,” was the response, which prompted the homeowner to call it what it was: “Girl, this is a karen moment.”
Footage of wildly entitled white people reveals the many forms of racism in the U.S. that are, unfortunately, part of everyday life. A simple misunderstanding at a yield sign, for instance, can quickly spin out of control and become dangerous — although thankfully that didn’t happen in this case.
Though the Black woman was trailed home and verbally accosted in her own driveway, she ultimately took the high road and said she wouldn’t report the egregious behavior after all.
“I’m not gonna call the police, you’re out of my yard,” she explained, adding, “I’m just wondering why you’re still standing here?”
Clearly, there was no good reason, yet the white woman indicated she planned on calling the police, perhaps forgetting that trespassing on private property is a crime. Laws vary from state to state, but at the very least, it is a minor offense punishable by a fine.
“What are you going to say, that I called you a b-tch. And what, what are they going to do? Nothing,” the homeowner stated.
“I’ve got my ways,” the white woman said rather ominously, before hopping into her car and driving off.
‘Still Held a Grudge’: White Texas Teen Who Waited Three Months To Kill Black Man After Being Slapped for Calling Him a Racial Slur Learns His Fate
A 21-year-old Texas man will spend the next 40 years in prison for murdering a Black man five years ago in a racially charged dispute that escalated into a deadly shooting.
Madison Meazell Simmons was arrested in February 2021 when he was 17, three months after he gunned down 40-year-old Melvin Ray Rogers Jr. in Nacogdoches, Texas.
The murder took place on Dec. 21, 2020. Police responded to Rogers’ home after they heard gunshots in the area, according to KTRE.

While on scene, investigators collected several spent shell casings from a 5.56 mm rifle.
Detectives believe that Rogers’ death was directly connected to a confrontation between him and Simmons that took place months before the shooting.
According to Nacogdoches County prosecutors, Rogers slapped Simmons after Simmons called him a racial slur.
Rogers seethed over the slap for months until he decided to take action. He visited Rogers’ home and shot at the house 30 times while Rogers was inside. Several of those bullets struck Rogers.
“Madison still held a grudge,” the arrest affidavit states, per The Daily Sentinel.
When Simmons’ home was searched on a warrant for an unrelated case, law enforcement found a 5.56 mm rifle on the property. The results of forensic tests indicated that the rounds that killed Rogers “were shot from the same weapon.”
Law enforcement arrested Simmons at a traffic stop in February 2021. He was charged with first-degree felony murder.
The murder trial for the now-21-year-old started on Aug. 19.
When jury deliberations began, state prosecutors and the victim’s family decided to offer Simmons a 40-year prison sentence.
Simmons accepted the offer and pleaded guilty.
“We are so very grateful to the family of the victim in this case,” Nacogdoches County District Attorney Andrew Jones said. “They have been beyond patient and understanding. Thanks to the Nacogdoches Police Department for their hard work on this investigation. It was a complicated case with a lot of digital evidence. And I know both sides are grateful to the jury for their service and for sitting and listening to the evidence.”
On a GoFundMe page set up to raise donations for Rogers’ funeral expenses, loved ones wrote that Rogers was known for his “sweet disposition, his smile, and overall kindness.”
