‘Kim Thinks the Public is Stupid’: Kim Kardashian Reportedly Fed Up with ‘Fraudster’ Bianca Censori for Constantly Trying to Look Like Her, Fans Say It’s the Other Way Around

News - Mon, 06/30/2025 - 21:30

Kim Kardashian allegedly is getting irritated with her ex-husband Kanye West’s current wife, Bianca Censori.

Kardashian and Censori have long been compared by the media for having similar physical features. And while Kardashian hasn’t spoken on the matter in public, a new tabloid report claims she is being more vocal about the eye-rolling comparisons behind the scenes.

RadarOnline reported on June 29 that its purported insider said, “She’s sick to death of this fraudster trying to be her – and doing it badly at that!”

The two women are superficially similar in appearance, as both have oval-shaped faces, thin nose bridges and plump lips. While both wear wigs or dye their hair from time to time, the two are natural brunettes.

Kardashian’s comparisons to Censori comes from some of her fashion choices. When she wears risqué, sheet, or skin-baring items some social media commenters claim she’s attempting to copy the 30-year-old.

This is mainly because Censori has broken the internet wearing little to nothing in public. Some say she wears the outfits at the instruction of her husband, who owns his own fashion brand. West, 48, used to style Kardashian when they were married, but others feel Censori is a willing participant in these clothing scandals.

The supposed source told Radar,  “For the longest time Kim felt sorry for Bianca because she figured it was Kanye putting her up to these stupid fashion stunts. But the longer it’s gone on, the more it’s aggravating her.”

Sources also allegedly told Radar that West and Censori have been off and on throughout their marriage due to West’s online anti-Semitic outbursts and other comments.

Fans and followers of Radar added their two cents on Kardashian’s alleged annoyance with Censori.

One person accused the “Skims” founder of being the copier. They said, “Not really. She copied everything about Bianca when she first emerged. Kim thinks the public is stupid.”

Others blamed Kanye for why the women look so much alike. “Blame the stylist Kim…KANYE,” said one.

Another wrote, “She means Kanye dressed both of them.”

A fourth person denied that the two even look similar in the first place. “They do not look alike,” they said.

Censori and West have been married since December 2022. West and Kardashian wed in 2014 and finalized their divorce in November 2022. While the Yeezy founder has no children with Censori, he did welcome four children when he was with Kardashian. They have their two daughters North West, 12, and Chicago West, 7. Then they also have Saint West 9 and their 6-year-old son Psalm West.

‘Just End Him’: Arizona Girls, 10 and 11, Caught Plotting to Lure and Stab Boy Over a Breakup — Classmate Overheard the Plan and Reported It, Now They’re Under Arrest

News - Mon, 06/30/2025 - 20:00

A group of preteen girls in Surprise, Arizona, plotted to stab a male classmate to death but were thwarted when other students overheard them chatting about their devious plan, according to a shocking police report that was just released.

Four children, all between the ages of 10 and 11 years old, were arrested last fall on charges of threatening and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Alleged murderous plot thwarted by fifth grade girls (Credit: Google Maps)

According to authorities, the group of fifth grade girls came up with the idea on the afternoon of Oct. 1, 2024, while on their lunch and recess break. A few eavesdropping students told police they initially thought the group was joking, but things “started to get serious” when the goal of the conversation became clear: to “just end him,” stated the report obtained by AZ Family.

Police believe that one of the accused girls was in a “relationship” with the victim, and a recent breakup and accusations of cheating fueled the alleged conspiracy.

Unfortunately, violent crimes perpetrated by minors in the U.S. are on the rise, according to FBI data.

The plan was to lure the boy to an outside bathroom on Legacy Traditional School’s West Surprise campus and fatally stab him in the stomach. Authorities described a chilling level of detail and planning: one girl would supply the murder weapon, while another would fake a suicide note to avert suspicion. Yet another girl would act as the lookout, and the fourth girl would wield the knife. To avoid leaving incriminating fingerprints, they would all wear gloves, the report stated.

The day after the students were reported to school administrators, police searched their backpacks and questioned each child individually with their parents present.

While three of the girls showed remorse and regret, the police report stated that the fourth girl and her parent did not take it seriously. The girl “would smile and laugh and made excuses for the actions,” the report stated.

After the arrests were made, the suspects, two 10-year-olds and two 11-year-olds, were released into the custody of their parents. They have been suspended from school pending expulsion, per the report.

Legacy Traditional School, part of a network of public charter schools in Arizona, Nevada, and Texas, immediately addressed the incident after learning about it, but has refused to comment further, citing the safety and well-being of their students.

“Due to federal student privacy laws, we cannot discuss individual student disciplinary matters,” the school’s statement read. “As outlined in the Legacy Student Code of Conduct, any student who makes or shares a threat may face disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion.”

The victim’s parent told police that she would “aid in the prosecution of the students.”

‘Monica Lewinsky 2.0’: Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s New Photo Showing Her Legs with a Smirk On Her Face In the Oval Office Ignites Rumors

News - Mon, 06/30/2025 - 19:00

People either hate or love White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, but either way, they cannot resist talking about her. Even when she is not addressing the media, the communications professional is still a topic of discussion that exceeds political commentary.

A recent Instagram post proved just that. In a June 28 upload, she posed in the Oval Office wearing a sleek black dress and black pumps that highlighted her toned legs. Her back turned to the camera as she looked over her left shoulder with a smile. The image was an end-of-the-week sendoff for her followers. Leavitt wrote, “Have a great weekend, everyone!” in the caption.

Karoline Leavitt’s Oval Office photoshoot has critics accusing her of being Monica Lewinsky 2.0 amid rumors she will become Donald Trump’s next wife, replacing Melania Trump. Photo:Karolineleavitt/Instagram.

A commenter stated, “Press Secretary got body and face.” A second individual boasted, “You are a certified baddie.” However, among the more than 4,600 reactions, there were several people who did not see beauty and brains when they looked at the Leavitt.

Instead, they were reminded of a woman whose youth and access to a president created one of the biggest White House sex scandals in decades: Monica Lewinsky. The former intern was in a nearly two-year affair with President Bill Clinton in 1997.

She famously wore a blue dress that was stained after an encounter. The garment was later used as evidence amid Clinton’s impeachment trial. A commenter remarked, “Monica Lewinsky, 2.0 the dress might have significant evidence on it in the future” about Leavitt’s attire.

Leavitt has been married for less than a year to real estate developer Nicholas Riccio.

The couple has a 32-year-age gap. Trump has been married to his third wife, Melania Trump, for 20 years. Trolls, though, think his press secretary may be the former model’s successor.

One person wrote, “She’s gonna leave her 63-year-old husband the moment Melania files for divorce. Then she’s gonna try and swoop in to be Trump’s 4th wife.” For well over a year, reports have alleged that Donald and Melania are on the brink of divorce. They have one child, Barron Trump, 19, and reportedly do not share sleeping quarters in the nation’s capital.

Another comment read, “It’s obvious the only reason she had a baby with a man who’s more than double her age is for the future alimony payments he’ll have to dish out.” Leavitt and Riccio welcomed their son, Niko, in 2024. She has gone on record acknowledging that her marriage is “atypical.”

‘Insisted on Moving’: Officers Forcibly Drag Plus-Size Passenger By Arms and Pants Belt Off Plane After Tantrum Over His Request for Bigger Seat, Video Shows

News - Mon, 06/30/2025 - 18:00

Another flight, another passenger meltdown.

Video caught the moments a man had to be forcibly dragged down the aisle of a plane off an international flight after he demanded a bigger seat.

A Thai Air Lion flight departing Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 25 had to be delayed solely to address the disruption caused by a British tourist, according to multiple reports.

Cellphone footage showed the moments a plus-size passenger in a bright orange Garfield T-shirt with the words, “Sorry too busy doing nothing,” and green shorts was forcibly removed from his seat by flight attendants.

The passenger reportedly requested to be reassigned to an exit row seat for more legroom. When flight attendants denied his request, he threw a tantrum.

After he was removed from his seat, he opted to lie on the aisle floor in protest, then pulled out his cellphone and began recording the cabin crew members standing above him.

After a few moments, two officers are seen dragging him by his arms and belt off the plane after he refused to walk on his own.

“At first, I thought we couldn’t take off because the man had fallen ill,” said one man who recorded video footage, per People. “It turned out he just thought the economy seat was too crowded and insisted on moving to the emergency exit. The flight attendants had to call the police because he refused to cooperate.”

The incident delayed the flight by an hour.

Some passengers were heard calling the man “f–king selfish” and telling him to “get out of the plane.”

It’s unclear whether the passenger was arrested or released after being taken off the plane. Authorities have also not identified him.

In a similar incident, a New York woman had to be pulled off a Southwest Airlines flight in Kansas City, Missouri, but in this incident, she was charged with aggravated assault for spitting on and pulling the hair of a female passenger.

Cellphone footage caught the moments authorities strapped her to a gurney to remove her from the flight.

Former Kentucky Student Who Told Cops She’s Used to Getting ‘Special Treatment’ Just Got Out of 1-year Jail Sentence Early After Assaulting and Calling Black Student the N-Word 200 Times

News - Mon, 06/30/2025 - 16:10

A former Kentucky college student who was convicted of charges connected to a racist assault against a Black dorm worker has been released early from jail.

Sophia Rosing was sentenced to 12 months in prison, 100 hours of community service, and a $25 fine after pleading guilty to four counts of fourth-degree assault, one count of disorderly conduct, and one count of alcohol intoxication.

Sophia Rosing pleaded guilty to charges she faced in connection to a racist attack on a Black female student at the University of Kentucky in November 2022. (Photo: Twitter/See Racists)

Rosing was charged after she was caught on viral video attacking a Black desk worker at a University of Kentucky dormitory in November 2022. During the attack, a drunken Rosing punched, kicked, and hit Kylah Spring, all while calling her the N-word more than 200 times and making other racist references.

When police arrived to take Rosing to jail, she reportedly said she had “lots of money” and was used to getting “special treatment.” Court documents also noted she kicked and bit a police officer.

She pleaded guilty in August 2024 to the charges she faced in connection with the attack and was sentenced in October of that year.

Five months into her sentence, Rosing’s attorney filed a motion petitioning for the 24-year-old’s early release. He argued that Rosing does not pose an “ongoing threat to public safety,” and that she has experienced “significant public scrutiny, reputational harm, and lasting consequences, all of which serve as strong deterrents against re-offending.”

At the time, a judge denied that request, stating that an early release “would unduly depreciate the seriousness of the offenses.”

But Rosing was released two months later from a county jail after receiving credit for time served and good behavior.

Kentucky Justice & Public Safety Cabinet Communications Director Morgan Hall also recently told local news outlets that Rosing’s charges had been amended to misdemeanors.

“She was serving a county sentence and was never in custody of the Kentucky Department of Corrections,” Hall said, per The Courier Journal. “She received pre-sentence credit and good time credit by the jail, which advanced her release to May 11, 2025.”

The official added that “The Department of Corrections had no role in her custody or release.”

Rosing is not allowed to re-enroll at the University of Kentucky and has been permanently banned from the campus.

‘Extremely Unprofessional’: Fans Side-Eye Jennifer Hudson’s ‘Happy Place’ After Some Guests Get a Full Spirit Tunnel While Others Get a Cameraman and a Clap

News - Mon, 06/30/2025 - 15:30

Jennifer Hudson’s daytime talk show has become synonymous with joy, warmth, and that infectious energy that radiates from what fans have dubbed “The Happy Place.”

At the heart of this experience lies the now-famous Spirit Tunnel, where Hudson’s enthusiastic staff members line the hallways to cheer on incoming guests with spontaneous dances, applause, and pure celebration.

What started as an organic moment of workplace camaraderie has evolved into one of the most anticipated segments for viewers, often going viral across social media platforms and giving guests an unforgettable welcome before they even step foot on set.

The Spirit Tunnel has become such a signature element that fans eagerly await each new video, watching as celebrities from A-listers to rising stars experience the overwhelming love from Hudson’s team.

The unscripted nature of these moments, where staff members from different departments come together to create magical welcomes, has helped distinguish Hudson’s show in the competitive daytime television landscape. The tunnel’s popularity soared throughout 2024, with countless videos showcasing everyone from musicians to actors getting the full treatment from Hudson’s devoted crew.

However, recent social media scrutiny has cast a shadow over this beloved tradition.

The controversy began when TikTok account celebrity.newsssss shared a compilation video comparing the crowd’s energy for different guests, specifically highlighting appearances by Chloe Fineman, SZA, and Aaron Pierre.

@celebrity.newsssss

I think the Jennifer Hudson show should do better!

The post’s caption read, “Extremely unprofessional for the guests to be treated differently based on how famous they are… wait for it,” sparking heated debate among viewers about potential favoritism.

The response was swift and divided. “Can’t stand Jennifer Hudson’s large ego anymore. I have watched a few of her episodes and wondered why there was a disparity,” one frustrated viewer commented.

Others rushed to defend the show’s practices, with one person explaining, “I think it’s based on who’s actually available.. let’s assume they just weren’t available at that time.”

Another supporter added context about timing, noting, “It’s not that deep, if you see there’s christmas decorations in the background, most people probably weren’t in office.”

A fourth commenter emphasized the practical reality: “Guys…the spirit tunnel is not their whole job. Im sure not everyone is available every time bffr yall be so damn dramatic on this app.”

Behind the scenes, Hudson’s team has been transparent about how the Spirit Tunnel actually operates.

According to the show’s staff, the tunnel isn’t a scheduled event but rather something that happens organically during the workday when team members are available.

The timing differences that fans noticed can be attributed to various factors, including staff availability, seasonal schedules, and the natural ebb and flow of a busy production environment.

Interestingly, the timeline reveals that Chloe Fineman and SZA’s appearances occurred in 2025 over recent months after the tunnel became more popular, while Aaron Pierre’s visit happened at the end of 2024, potentially explaining some of the variation in crowd size.

The tunnel’s creation story reveals its authentic roots within Hudson’s workplace culture. Executive producer Andy Lassner emphasized that “it comes from the staff.”

“None of this was set up. None of this was planned. It’s just the joy and the energy of breathing Jennifer every day into this magical thing,” he added.

What began as simple cheers and clapping for Hudson herself before she stepped on set gradually evolved into elaborate celebrations for guests.

Associate producer Jarielle Jeffrey described how the team now maintains group chats specifically for brainstorming tunnel ideas, saying the tradition has become “something to look forward to when we come to work.”

Hudson herself has embraced the tunnel as an embodiment of her show’s mission.

“There is so much love within these walls, it’s inspiring people outside of them too,” she explained, recognizing how the infectious energy extends beyond the studio.

Social media manager Falon Hardy captured the unpredictable magic of these moments, sharing, “I love shooting these tunnels. You never know how the celebrity is going to react.”

As the debate continues online, the Spirit Tunnel remains a testament to authentic workplace joy, even as fans call for more consistent energy across all guest appearances.

‘Only There Because She’s a Black Woman’: Charlie Kirk’s ‘Diversity Hire’ Jab at Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson Backfires as Critics Roast Him for Dropping Out of Community College While She Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard

News - Mon, 06/30/2025 - 12:00

Conservative firebrand Charlie Kirk sparked fresh outrage Friday after attacking Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson as a “diversity hire” in the aftermath of a pivotal 6-3 ruling that handed a major victory to President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda.

Ketanji Brown Jackson is a diversity hire. She is only there because she’s a black woman,” the Turning Point USA co-founder posted Friday on X, drawing immediate backlash, as critics blasted Kirk for attacking a Supreme Court justice whose credentials and experience far outshine his own.

His comment came after Jackson issued a blistering dissent in a case where the conservative majority ruled that federal district courts lack the power to issue nationwide injunctions — a move that allowed Trump’s executive order on birthright citizenship to go into effect in some regions.

At the heart of the dispute was Trump’s controversial policy that narrows who qualifies for birthright citizenship.  On the first day of his second term, Trump signed an executive order redefining citizenship to exclude children born in the U.S. to parents without legal immigration status. The order flew in the face of longstanding interpretations of the 14th Amendment and more than a century of legal precedent.

Lower courts had blocked Trump’s policy, issuing broad injunctions to prevent harm to potentially thousands affected.

But in its decision Friday, the high court sided with Trump, ruling that such relief could only apply to the specific plaintiffs involved in each specific case.

Speaking from the White House, Trump hailed the decision as “amazing” and a “monumental victory for the Constitution, the separation of powers and the rule of law.”

In light of the ruling, Trump indicated he would immediately advance new restrictions on birthright citizenship and other policies that had been blocked previously by the U.S. district courts.

“The Constitution has been brought back,” Trump declared.

Attorney General Pam Bondi slammed the lower courts, accusing them of blocking the will of the voters and standing in the way of what Americans elected Trump to do.

“These lawless injunctions gave relief to everyone in the world instead of the parties before the court,” she said.

The three liberal justices — Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, and Ketanji Brown Jackson —each dissented, calling the ruling dangerous and enabling unchecked executive power. Sotomayor said the court was complicit in the erosion of democracy. “With the stroke of a pen, the President has made a ‘solemn mockery’ of our Constitution,” she wrote. “Rather than stand firm, the Court gives way.”

Jackson’s dissent was even sharper. She warned that the ruling posed “an existential threat to the rule of law,” saying, “It is important to recognize that the Executive’s bid to vanquish so-called ‘universal injunctions’ is, at bottom, a request for this Court’s permission to engage in unlawful behavior.”

She added, “With deep disillusionment, I dissent.”

Justice Amy Coney Barrett, writing for the majority, accused Jackson of mischaracterizing the court’s role. “Justice Jackson decries an imperial Executive while embracing an imperial Judiciary,” Barrett said, insisting the power of the courts is not unlimited.

Kirk’s attack on Jackson, a Harvard-educated jurist who clerked for former Justice Stephen Breyer and once served as a federal public defender, was swiftly condemned.

Many critics pointed to Kirk’s own résumé to highlight the audacity of his remark.

Kirk’s insult reflected a growing fixation among right-wing voices on “DEI” — diversity, equity, and inclusion — which the MAGA movement has increasingly blamed for what it claims is a collapse in standards across American institutions.

But critics say the real outcome of dismantling DEI efforts has been the opposite: a landscape dominated by “mediocre white boys,” as Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas memorably put it recently. In this light, Kirk’s attack wasn’t just personal — it was part of a broader ideological crusade. But social media critics wasted no time putting Kirk in his place, with many pointing out the stark contrast between his credentials and Jackson’s résumé.

“Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson received both her undergraduate and law degrees from Harvard University. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Harvard Law School, graduating cum laude. While at Harvard Law School, she served as a supervising editor of the Harvard Law Review … Charlie Kirk dropped out of community college,” one critic responded to Kirk’s post.

The backlash even reached all the way to Capitol Hill, with Democrats accusing Republicans of hypocrisy.

“For the past four years, Republicans ran to their handpicked judges in select districts seeking universal injunctions against Biden Administration policies they disliked,” U.S. Sen. Peter Welch of Vermont said in a statement.

“Now, mere months into his administration, President Trump’s Supreme Court has decided to limit lower courts’ ability to hold him accountable. Let’s be clear: this is another instance of the Court bending over backwards to insulate this administration from any restraint on its power,” the statement continued.

It’s worth noting that dissenting opinions are a routine part of Supreme Court jurisprudence, particularly in controversial split decisions. These dissents are not only expressions of disagreement but often serve as roadmaps for future cases, should the Court revisit an issue in a different political or legal climate.

Justice Jackson’s path to the nation’s highest court is well documented. Born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Miami, she was a standout in high school debate and went on to attend Harvard College and Harvard Law School. Her career spans both public service and private practice, including time as a federal public defender and a U.S. Sentencing Commissioner. She served as a federal judge before being nominated to the Supreme Court by President Biden and sworn in on June 30, 2022.

While Jackson’s dissent will not change the outcome of the case for now, it stands as a searing critique of executive overreach — and the Court’s failure, in her view, to serve as a meaningful check on presidential power.

‘Can’t She Afford Permanent Dental Implants’: Concern Grows After LeAnn Rimes’ Teeth Fall Out a Second Time During Live Performance

News - Sun, 06/29/2025 - 20:32

LeAnn Rimes has faced numerous challenges throughout her career, navigating personal controversies and industry hurdles, but nothing quite prepared the Grammy-winning artist for the moment her teeth unexpectedly fell out during a live performance on June 20.

The country music sensation found herself in an unprecedented predicament that would test her professionalism and sense of humor in equal measure, showcasing what she later described as a prime example of why “the show must go on.”

Midway through her performance of the hit song “One Way Ticket” at Skagit Casino Resort in Washington state, disaster struck, she said in a video post on her Instagram over the weekend.

View this post on Instagram

A post shared by leann rimes cibrian (@leannrimes)

Rimes, who has been performing since childhood and is renowned for her seasoned stage presence, experienced a sudden pop in her mouth, plunging her into a state of panic.

Her front dental bridge, which she has openly discussed as part of her extensive dental work over the years, chose this inopportune moment to malfunction.

Faced with the dilemma of either enduring professional embarrassment or leaving her audience mid-song, Rimes made a swift decision that would become a memorable testament to her dedication to entertaining her fans.

“We’re going to do a little story time about how the show must go on,” Rimes began in the Instagram video she shared with her one million-plus followers the day after the incident.

She added, “And this is the most epic example of how the show must go on.”

She then detailed the exact moment when everything went wrong.

“So last night, I was on stage in the middle of ‘One Way Ticket.’ I feel something pop in my mouth. And if you’ve been around, you know I’ve had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front. It fell out in the middle of my song last night,” she said.

The moment she realized what had happened, Rimes said she “panicked” and made a split-second decision that showcased both her vulnerability and her commitment to her craft.

Rather than attempting to power through with missing teeth, she quickly told her audience to “hold on” before sprinting off stage to address the dental emergency.

The brief intermission allowed her to reposition her bridge, but it also forced her into a moment of radical honesty with her fans.

“I just had to get real with everybody and tell them exactly what was happening, or else I would have had to walk off stage,” she explained in the video.

This transparency created an unexpectedly intimate moment between performer and audience, transforming what could have been a career-defining embarrassment into a testament to authenticity. For the remainder of the show, Rimes found herself in the unusual position of having to manually hold her teeth in place while singing, literally pushing them back into position “every couple of lines.”

The dental drama wasn’t finished with just one incident.

As Rimes performed her beloved hit “Can’t Fight the Moonlight,” disaster struck again.

“Like, ‘Can’t Fight the Moonlight,’ completely fell in my mouth,” she recounted with a laugh, describing how her teeth completely fell out once more.

Yet she continued singing, proving that decades of experience had prepared her for even the most unexpected challenges.

Reflecting on the surreal experience, Rimes called it “the most epic experience ever” and acknowledged the rarity of such moments in her established career.

“I don’t usually have firsts in my career,” she said. “That was a first and hopefully a last. I hope my teeth stay in tonight. We shall see.”

Many of her fans on her social media chimed in.

“Was there, and the show did go on, it was a great moment for us with you @leannrimes definitely a show to remember,” one Instagram user shared, while another playfully commented on the platform, “We do love a good bridge in a song!”

“Love you even more for this. The show must…go on!!” wrote another supporter.

Other observers seemed to feel fremdschämen for her predicament. When US Weekly posted the story on social media, one fan commented under the post, “Poor thing she was mortified.”

When New York Post readers responded to the dental mishap, another noted, “At least she was honest. Now you know she wasn’t lip-synching.”

One person asked, “Good that she’s having fun with it, but can’t she afford permanent dental implants?”

Facing another performance at the same venue the following night, Rimes approached it with characteristic humor and preparation.

“The front row, get ready for something to fly out,” she joked in her video. “If you catch them, please return them.”

Her candid reflection on the situation revealed her pragmatic approach, “And you know, like I said, there wasn’t a f—king thing I could do about it except either walk off or just hold my teeth in.”

Rimes used the experience as an opportunity to encourage other performers who might face similar unexpected challenges, emphasizing her commitment to “keeping it real” with fans and demonstrating that even seasoned professionals encounter moments of vulnerability that can become defining examples of resilience and authenticity.

‘Hit a Sore Spot’: Trump Tried to Belittle Abby Phillip, Claiming He Had ‘Absolutely No Idea’ What She Was Talking About, But Her One Line Response to His ‘3rd Rate’ Insult Is What’s Actually Going Viral

News - Sun, 06/29/2025 - 18:30

President Donald Trump slammed TV news anchor Abby Phillip for her commentary about the current state of the stock market, which he saw on a recent edition of CNN’s “NewsNight with Abby Phillip,” all while claiming that no one watches the network anymore.

During a recent airing of Phillip’s show on June 27, Phillip cited an assessment from one economist about the record high the stock market reached at the end of the week. The analysis, in part, attributed the rebound to Donald Trump‘s recent announcement that his administration might extend the pause on tariffs.

The White House previously announced earlier this year that tariff increases for several foreign nations would return on July 9, giving federal officials time to negotiate trade deals with other countries. Recent reports state that those talks are still ongoing.

During a recent airing of Phillip’s show, Phillip sat down in a roundtable discussion with several panelists and cited a Wall Street Journal article about where the market stands currently:

“Scott offered one explanation for the highs in the stock market. There are other explanations,” Phillip said. “Here’s one from Jason Furman, an economist. ‘The macro economy is doing decently. He said, especially when it comes to tariffs, the market is now more confident that Trump will back off if necessary.’ He added in April, ‘I think the fear was that he would just plow ahead no matter what. Now, there is a sense that there are realities that he won’t try to blow past.'”

Phillip added her own thoughts on the insights shared in the WSJ article: “It’s hard to argue, Scott [Jennings], that that’s not accurate when just this week, today, they’re saying, oh, that 90-day deadline, we’re just going to push it back out another 90 days. So, the market’s basically saying, oh, OK they’re just going to push it back.”

The anchor later added that, “Maybe you could argue that this is a negotiating tactic that is working, fine. But the truth is Trump is, in fact, backing down and the markets have calmed because of that.”

Thank you for watching Mr. President. https://t.co/LtB1QSLaaG

— Abby D. Phillip (@abbydphillip) June 28, 2025

The president didn’t take kindly to the commentary.

In a late-night post shortly after the NewsNight segment aired, he wrote on TruthSocial: “Where does CNN get its ‘talent?’ Just watched someone named Abby Phillip lecture her audience on Tariffs and the economy (which is doing record business!). She has absolutely no idea what she is talking about, strictly 3rd rate. Fortunately, the audience has long ago left CNN, and it will only get WORSE. LOSERS ALL!!!”

Phillip issued a subtle and cutting clapback at the president that let his rant speak for itself. “Thank you for watching, Mr. President.” The post has since garnered over 2200 comments and over thirty thousand likes compared to Trump’s 1500 comments and twenty-four thousand likes.

Much of the comments were triggered MAGA followers jumping in to defend Trump while Phillip’s supporters sang her praises. One user resurfaced a clip of Trump once again attempting to belittle the CNN reporter during his first campaign where he declared then, “I watch you a lot.”

Some claimed Phillip is not the draw for Trump’s eyeballs, “He watches because of Scott, not because of you.” Others poked fun at the president for once again letting his emotions get the best of him, “Congrats!!! If he’s whining like a 5 yr old, it means you’re doing an outstanding job.”

‘The Grass Ain’t Greener’: Fans Warn Savannah James About the Hard Truths After She Walks Away from Being a Stay-at-Home Wife

News - Sun, 06/29/2025 - 18:14

LeBron James’ wife Savannah James has ignited a fiery debate among mothers after making it crystal clear that her stay-at-home mom days are firmly in the rearview mirror and warning her friend against romanticizing that lifestyle.

During a candid moment on her hit podcast “Everybody’s Crazy,” James didn’t mince words when her co-host said she envied her previous domestic-focused life. Swiftly, the Ohio native shut down any notion that her friend should want to follow that path.

The revelation came after an exchange with a caller about starting a nail polish business. After her co-host and longtime friend, April McDaniel, founder and CEO of the marketing agency Crown + Conquer, gave her some direction about becoming a business owner.

Then what started as a routine call-in quickly transformed into a deeply personal moment that resonated with mothers across the show’s social media.

During the episode, McDaniel expressed what seemed to be her exhaustion with her demanding corporate life, telling James that “for the first time in my life, I really would like to swap positions with my friend.”

McDaniel, whose agency works with major brands like Google, Adidas and L’Oréal, confessed her desire to embrace the stay-at-home lifestyle. However, James’ response was firm and immediate, reflecting her own journey and current mindset about domestic life.

“That was cute. That was fun. I don’t wanna do that no more,” James stated, referencing her previous experience as a stay-at-home mother.

When McDaniel playfully said of her new feelings, “It’s giving ‘I want to be a stay-at-home housewife,'” James laughed dismissively but stood her ground.

“I wanna do that,” McDaniel insisted, before escalating to “somebody come get me, please.”

She continued her appeals, asking “Can you come get me?” while James repeatedly refused to entertain the notion.

“That’s what we not gonna do. We not doing that,” James responded firmly, showcasing the supportive yet realistic dynamic between the longtime friends.

McDaniel’s vulnerability reached its peak when she made one final plea to a prospective man in her viewing audience: “Please go get me, I don’t want to do it no more,” before the hosts moved on to take another call.

Whether she was joking or serious, it resonated with a lot of their followers.

One post on the podcast’s Instagram, the clip ignited fierce debate, with followers sharing their own perspectives on the modern motherhood dilemma.

“Majorie Harvey lifestyle (what I see) definitely on my to do list,” one person commented, referencing the luxurious lifestyle of Steve Harvey’s wife.

Others offered words of caution, with one follower writing, “The GRASS isn’t always Greener. Remember that yall,” directly addressing both hosts about the complexities of their respective situations.

The conversation struck a chord with women at different stages of their lives and careers.

“I used to be Savannah but now I’m definitely like April,” shared another commenter, highlighting how perspectives on work and family can shift over time.

The honest exchange seemed to give many women permission to voice their own conflicted feelings about balancing professional ambitions with family life.

Some followers expressed wanting the best of both worlds, with one noting, “I want somebody to ‘come get me’ but eventually imma need to be productive + hustle. A woman ALWAYS needs to have her own.”

Another simply stated, “Kinda delusional enough to want both,” capturing the internal struggle many modern mothers experience.

Both hosts’ stances reflect broader trends in contemporary motherhood.

According to a recent survey by Motherly, roughly 25 percent of mothers considered themselves stay-at-home moms in 2023, an increase from 15 percent in 2022.

However, this figure remains significantly lower than the 84 percent of stay-at-home mothers in the 1950s. The primary reason cited for staying home is wanting more time with children, though rising childcare costs also influence these decisions.

James’ life as a stay-at-home mom is not like those of most women in America. Neither is her fairytale love story, where she is married to and still in love with one of the greatest athletes in the history of sports.

While she has said in the past that he is not her only soulmate, she met King James when the two were in high school, started dating when she was 16, and has been married since she was 27.

Unlike many other women, as a stay-at-home mom, she had means to explore her dreams and started “Let It Break,” a community-driven initiative she co-founded with McDaniel, and other philanthropic endeavors.

According to Variety, “Everybody’s Crazy” has signed up with Dear Media Network for this new season, James and McDaniel continue to provide unfiltered perspectives on modern womanhood.

‘I’m Gonna Throw You Into That Candle’: ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Eric Dane Reportedly Threatened a Man Before Nearly Coming to Blows with Actor Dax Shepard During Explosive Confrontation

News - Sun, 06/29/2025 - 16:30

Dax Shepard recently shared a wild story about how a heated confrontation at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting nearly a decade ago blossomed into one of Hollywood’s most unexpected friendships.

The actor and podcast host opened up about the time he and “Grey’s Anatomy” star Eric Dane almost came to blows during what was supposed to be a healing and supportive environment, revealing a tale that perfectly captures how sometimes the most volatile beginnings can lead to the strongest bonds.

Eric Dane (above) and Dax Shepard almost fought at an AA meeting over a timer but became close friends afterward. (Photo of Eric Dane by Frazer Harrison/Getty Images for Prime Video)

The dramatic encounter unfolded when both actors were attending the same AA meeting, each grappling with their own sobriety journey.

According to Shepard’s account on a recent episode of his “Armchair Expert” with guest Brad Pitt, the tension began when Dane became frustrated with another meeting attendee who had been brought by someone and was monopolizing the conversation time.

“Eric Dane, who I now f—king love, I have such a sweetness for him, but when we first were around each other, it was not good. He threatened a dude in the meeting, and I said, ‘Let’s go, mother—ker,” the host said.

The confrontation reached its boiling point when Dane directed his anger toward the person managing the timer.

“If you hit that timer again, I’m gonna f—king throw you in that candle,” Dane reportedly threatened, his frustration clearly reaching a breaking point after the timer had sounded seven times during the disruptive attendee’s lengthy monologue.

Shepard, immediately stepped in to defend the individual.

“Let’s go, motherf—ker,” the “Parenthood” actor challenged Dane, transforming what should have been a peaceful gathering into the prelude to a parking lot showdown. The two actors stepped outside, ready to settle their differences with their fists rather than words.

Just as the situation was about to turn physical, their shared sponsor intervened, stepping between the two heated actors and preventing what could have been an embarrassing brawl in an AA meeting parking lot. This timely intervention not only stopped a potential fight but set the stage for what would become a meaningful friendship built on mutual understanding and shared struggles.

The story has since become a source of both entertainment and controversy among fans and followers on social media.

When E! News shared the story on their social media platforms, reactions were mixed, with some finding humor in the situation as others questioned the appropriateness of sharing such personal details from what should be anonymous meetings.

“Dax always looks like he is ready,” one Facebook user commented, highlighting Shepard’s reputation for having an edgy personality.

Another observer chimed in with their prediction about how it might have gone: “I can just see DAX he would lose Eric’s too great.”

However, not all responses were lighthearted. Several fans expressed concern about the violation of anonymity that is fundamental to AA meetings.

“The second A is for anonymous, leave it be,” one person wrote, pointing out the problematic nature of publicly discussing AA experiences.

The criticism continued on Instagram, where users were more direct in their disapproval.

“I know they’re friends but hopefully Eric Dane was okay with him sharing that story. it’s called AA for a reason,” one commenter noted, while another simply stated, “So much for anonymous huh.”

Despite initial hostility, Shepard and Dane have spoken openly about their contentious first meeting ultimately brought them together.

Reflecting on a pivotal moment in their relationship during a recent podcast, the “Idiocracy” actor recounted Shepard acknowledging his remarks during a group session, admitting, “I hated you for so long, but I’ve come to really love you.”

The comic said he felt the same way, recognizing their shared struggles and mutual interests, including a passion for cars.

Their friendship has been a source of strength amidst personal challenges. Shepard has openly discussed ongoing substance abuse issues, while Dane recently revealed his diagnosis of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in April after extensive testing.

Dane’s ALS diagnosis has also brought changes to his personal life.

In June, he made a red carpet appearance with director Janell Shirtcliff at the “Countdown” premiere, sparking confusion among fans who were unaware of their relationship status after his wife Rebecca Gayheart dismissed her divorce petition from the actor in March. Despite this, Dane and Gayheart maintain a supportive co-parenting friendship for their daughters, Billie, 15, and Georgia, 13.

‘Welcome to the Eighties’: Katie Couric Rips Lauren Sánchez in Scathing Post — Accuses Bezos Bride of Using Lavish Wedding to Buy Prestige and Make Sure Everyone Sees Their Wealth

News - Sun, 06/29/2025 - 14:00

Katie Couric sparked a social media firestorm when she unleashed a scathing critique of Lauren Sánchez Bezos’ wedding ensemble.

The veteran broadcaster didn’t hold back, commenting on the extravagant Venice wedding dress that Sánchez wore when she married billionaire Jeff Bezos on June 27 in what’s being dubbed the wedding event of the century.

This marks the second marriage for the couple, who collectively parent seven children from previous relationships. Their romantic journey hit a milestone when Bezos proposed aboard their 417-foot sailing yacht, Koru, named after the Maori symbol for new beginnings.

Sánchez received a $5 million 30-carat pink cushion-cut engagement diamond, though she opted not to wear it during the ceremony.

The opulent event unfolded in Venice, Italy, with approximately 200 guests witnessing the couple exchange vows. Reports suggest the ceremony cost up to $56 million.

The bride showcased multiple outfit changes throughout the multi-day celebration, but it was her main wedding gown that caught Couric’s critical eye and sparked widespread discussion about wealth, taste, and public commentary.

Couric’s criticism came swift and sharp when she responded to Jack Schlossberg’s Instagram post featuring Sánchez’s Vogue cover in her gown.

Jeff Bezos spent half a billion for that tacky wedding only for Dolce & Gabbana to put Lauren Sánchez in the Temu version of Priyanka Chopra's Ralph Lauren wedding dress.

The post is now deleted.

“Welcome to the eighties — when big hair and conspicuous consumption ruled. Apparently tacky is back,” the former “Today” show host wrote.

The Kennedy heir hopped in the shadiness, commenting, “Let’s bring back scrunchies,” as someone else said, “Spot on. Money can’t buy you class.”

The dress in question was a custom Dolce & Gabbana creation that required over 900 hours to complete, according to the fashion magazine.

I think the Italian fashion geniuses at Dolce & Gabbana helped save the day with this stunning gown for Lauren Sanchez. It looked sweet, retro, and charming. But ãñgry netizens are not willing to stop dragging the Bezos bride pic.twitter.com/feKVpZ2OgZ

The high-necked, long-sleeved lace gown featured hand-appliquéd Italian lace work, a corseted bodice, and a dramatic mermaid-style train with silk chiffon-covered buttons trailing down the front. The intricate design was inspired by Sophia Loren’s wedding dress from the 1958 film “Houseboat,” representing a significant departure from Sánchez’s typically modern, strapless red carpet preferences.

“I researched pictures of brides in the 1950s,” Sánchez explained to Vogue. “I wanted to reflect back, and I saw Sophia Loren and her hands were like this — and she was in high lace, up to the neck, and I said, ‘That’s it. That’s the dress.'”

The bride described feeling transformed by her recent space flight experience, noting how it influenced her desire for something more timeless and meaningful than her usual style choices.

The New York Post readers were divided in their response to Couric’s commentary.

One defender wrote, “Couric is right. We used to call it ‘mutton dressed as lamb.’ Couric interviewed Sarah Palin (2008 VP GOP candidate, for you youngsters). She knows tacky from way back.”

Another user piled on with humor, commenting, “I must say, this wedding dress is the most clothes that I have ever seen her wear.”

A third said, “Lauren Sanchez is tasteless & tacky. What ever she wears will look cheap.”

However, critics of Couric’s remarks were equally vocal.

“A once prominent and significant journalist reduced to sniping on social media? Surely, a bottle or two of cheap wine was involved!” one person fired back.

Another suggested ulterior motives, writing, “Finally!!! We learn of the one celeb that didn’t get an invite.”

The star-studded guest list included Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kris Jenner, Brooks Nader, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Tom Brady, Orlando Bloom, Ellie Goulding, Sydney Sweeney, Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, and Karlie Kloss. Musical entertainment was provided by Usher and DJ Cassidy, adding to the celebration’s luxurious atmosphere.

The “Unexpected” author was not among the luminaries who were invited to the controversial ceremony held in the “Queen of the Adriatic.”

The wedding celebration featured multiple costume changes for the bride, including a Schiaparelli gold-beaded gown for the pre-wedding dinner and an Oscar de la Renta cocktail dress adorned with 600 yards of hand-sewn chain and 175,000 crystals for the after-party.

Sánchez also wore Dolce & Gabbana Alta Gioielleria Miracolo earrings featuring four diamonds cut from a single stone and set in white gold, which arrived by armored van for the occasion.

Some defended Sánchez’s choices while criticizing Couric’s approach.

“I think ‘mean girl’ Katie is trying to be relevant….but it’s not working. Her comments exude tackiness!” one user observed.

Another pointed out, “I don’t think anyone should have been surprised by Lauren’s gown. In case Katie hasn’t noticed Lauren wears a lot of corsets. If the dress made Lauren happy then why disparage her? Sour grapes kardashians got invited and you didn’t.”

The controversy highlights ongoing conversations about Sánchez’s fashion choices and how people simply hate their love. It also brings up the idea of how the generational divide is presented in Couric’s critique, with one retired journalist seemingly hating on one who just doesn’t have to work anymore.

The truth is, while people are hating on the Bezoses, they are preparing to live their best lives, and she is now one half of one of the richest couples in the world.

‘She Thinks What’s His Is Hers!’: Fans Warn Jeff Bezos After Lauren Sánchez Claims His Wealth Following Massive Donation Reveal

News - Sat, 06/28/2025 - 16:30

Lauren Sánchez should be in pure wedding bliss right now, putting the finishing touches on what’s being called the wedding of the century in Venice this weekend. Instead, the Emmy-winning former journalist finds herself navigating an unexpected social media storm sparked by a resurfaced clip that has viewers questioning whether she might be jumping the gun on claiming ownership of her billionaire fiancé’s fortune.

The controversy centers around her choice of words during a charitable announcement, leaving many to wonder if she’s already mentally merged her estimated $30 million net worth with Jeff Bezos’s staggering $220 billion personal wealth.

During a November 2024 appearance on the Today show, Sánchez proudly shared news of their latest philanthropic initiative, enthusiastically announcing that she and Bezos had awarded $110 million through the Day 1 Families Fund to combat homelessness across America.

According to Family Gateway, the seventh annual round of grants will benefit 40 nonprofit organizations across 23 states, with individual grants ranging from $425,000 to $5 million. Notable recipients include Welcome House in Kentucky, Jenesse Center in Los Angeles, and Family Gateway in Dallas, each receiving $2.5 million to support families experiencing temporary homelessness.

However, Sánchez’s choice of words immediately caught the attention of social media users when a resurfaced video hit the X platform. Many were quick to question her use of collaborative language when discussing the massive donation.

“LAUREN SANCHEZ: ‘Jeff and I just donated $110 million to homelessness.’ YOU and Jeff? Or Jeff… and Jeff?” one Twitter user pointedly asked.

Another person scoffed, “As if she’s got half of the $110M to give! She thinks what’s his is hers!”

The criticism continued with one user joking, “What? She donated $10…the rest was Jeff lol,” while a fourth comment warned, “She’s already considering his billions hers. Must not have seen the prenup yet.”

The donation represents a meaningful contribution to addressing America’s growing homelessness crisis, with the National Alliance to End Homelessness reporting that over one million individuals experienced homelessness for the first time in 2023, marking a 12 percent increase from the previous year.

Since launching the Day 1 Families Fund in 2018 with a $2 billion pledge, Bezos has committed $749 million specifically to family homelessness initiatives, contributing to a total philanthropic disbursement of approximately $3.5 billion.

The controversy highlights the significant wealth disparity between the couple, with the Amazon founder standing as the world’s third-wealthiest man.

The couple, who have been dating since 2019, became engaged in May 2023 during a romantic proposal aboard his superyacht Koru. The engagement ring itself tells a story of extraordinary luxury: a rare 30-carat pink diamond with a subtle rose tone, cut in an elegant cushion shape and set in a cathedral-style pavé band, with jewelry experts estimating its value between $3 million and $5 million.

“When he opened the box, I think I blacked out a bit,” Sánchez revealed to Vogue, describing discovering the ring hidden beneath her pillow after a romantic dinner under the stars.

The former journalist has embraced her future role, stating, “I am looking forward to being Mrs. Bezos,” and emphasizing their partnership approach: “We always look at each other and go, ‘We’re the team.’ So everything’s shared.”

Bezos’s previous marriage serves as a costly reminder of the cost of high-profile divorces. His 2019 split from MacKenzie Scott, his wife of 25 years and mother of his four children, resulted in a settlement that awarded Scott a 4% stake in Amazon worth $38.3 billion, making her one of the world’s wealthiest women with a current estimated net worth of $30 billion. Notably, Bezos and Scott did not have a prenuptial agreement when they married in 1993, a detail that hasn’t gone unnoticed by observers of his current relationship.

As Sánchez prepares for their Venice wedding celebration with approximately 200 guests including Oprah Winfrey, Tom Brady, and Kim Kardashian, speculation about their prenuptial agreement intensifies.

Family law specialist Alphonse Provinziano noted in Hello! that “this type of prenup can be challenging because of the need for complete and total disclosure.”

While some social media users expressed concern about her apparent assumption of shared wealth, others offered supportive advice, with one person writing, “Hope he got a good pre nup this time.”

Whether the controversy will overshadow their wedding weekend remains to be seen, but it certainly demonstrates how even billionaire philanthropy can become a lightning rod for public scrutiny about wealth, partnership, and the complexities of modern celebrity marriages.

‘I Don’t Feel Safe!’: Viral Video Captures White Man Allegedly Calling Black Man a ‘Peasant’—Then Flipping the Script with 911 Call Complaining He’s Surrounded by Black Security

News - Sat, 06/28/2025 - 15:19

A viral video shows the moments a white man called 911 to complain about an interaction with a Black man and two security guards while stating that he felt unsafe because the guards were Black and he was the minority in the situation.

The three-minute video posted on TikTok by @robertsettles7 begins by showing a man standing at a table in a federal building completing some paperwork.

The person recording asks him to recall the moment he called him a “peasant,” and the white man begins complaining that he touched him.

“At your age, how old are you? How old am I? Look how old you are, you have gray hairs. Don’t touch people. Don’t touch people!” the man emphatically states.

At that point, a Black female security guard intervenes to de-escalate the situation when the complaining man demands she call the police.

“We need the police because he touched me,” the man tells her.

When she says he can call the police, he tells her, “Get out of my face! Why are you in my face?”

“I’m not in your face,” the guard responds as she’s seen standing several feet away from him. Adding, “You’re causing a disturbance.”

At that point, the white man walks to a desk phone and appears to call the police to inform them about the confrontation.

“All the security is Black as well, so I don’t feel safe. I’m the minority, and I don’t feel safe,” the man says on the phone.

After recounting the situation, he walks away from the phone and leaves the dispatcher on speakerphone.

“I mean, this is above us. Is there security or something?” the dispatcher asks.

“Yeah, security’s not doing anything, and I feel violated,” the man states.

The back-and-forth continues between the man and the female security guard until he tells the man recording to leave him alone.

“You touched me, I asked you not to. Can you please leave me alone? Can you act your age and the hair color you have? You’re double my age, just leave me alone,” the man states.

After another guard shows up, the female guard explains to her colleague that the man verbally assaulted the Black man and called him a “peasant.”

The man finally walks away from the scene, leaving some final words for the group: “I need to go somewhere else where I can be left alone to do my work. Yeah, and he is a peasant.”

The video was reshared from TikTok to several other platforms, where viewers shared their thoughts.

“He calls the police and then continues ragebaiting. There is only one person trying to escalate the situation and that was him,” one person commented on TikTok.

“Did that security guard have the nerve to question him and he felt offended?” one user wrote on Atlanta Black Star’s Instagram page.

“His daddy will help him. He is probably going to get a federal role soon,” someone else added.

‘Please Stop Halle’: Fans Rush to Halle Berry’s Defense After Her Bikini Look Gets Slammed By Critics Who Say She’s ‘Trying to Hang on to Her Youth’

News - Sat, 06/28/2025 - 00:00

Halle Berry has once again ruffled feathers after posing in her bathing suit online.

The 58-year-old actress has been praised throughout her career for her beauty. But as of late she’s often reprimanded by fans for her risqué and carefree posts on Instagram.

For example, in the video she posted on Thursday, June 26, the “X-Men” star was seen celebrating her longtime boyfriend, Van Hunt, and the release of his new EP “A Heart Full Of Questions.” To further show support, she danced around the house to one of his songs in the fun video before an unexpected wardrobe mishap.

Halle Berry recently lost her bikini bottom while dancing to her man’s new music. (Photo: Johnny Nunez/WireImage)

In the clip, Berry is seen dancing around several rooms in nothing but a white bikini. The first scene shows her walking toward the camera while biting into a fruit. With his song “Prelims (mind n meat)” attached to the video, Hunt’s vocals soon come in with the lyrics “Oh, you can’t stop the rhythm” and “You can’t stop that beat.” During this point of the video, Berry swiftly shakes her hips.

As Hunt’s voice progresses through the song, so does Berry’s quirky dancing. In one of the final clips, Berry was again walking across the living room when suddenly her bikini bottoms fell down. She added a peach emoji to cover up her intimate areas and was heard laughing as she quickly darted off screen.

A voice from behind the camera, who is presumed to be Hunt’s, says “It’s still filming,” before she chuckles again and the video ends.

Keeping up the fun and supportive spirit, Berry told fans in the caption that they could find Hunt’s album on all streaming platforms writing, “When your man’s music is so good you just can’t help yourself !”

But commenters on the Daily Mail didn’t see the video as fun. In fact, many weren’t happy that Berry posted herself having a slip up.

One person said, “Wow…how low will she go for attention. A former great actress she’s nothing more than a sad, old lady trying to hang on to her youth. You almost 60! I’m embarrassed for you.”

Another who doubted that the wardrobe malfunction was an accident said, “It is clear that she pulled the string. Desperate much. Please stop Halle.”

But not all comments were derogatory. She also got compliments consisting of the usual praise for how good she looks to be almost 60 years old.

“I think that’s the best 58 year old body I’ve ever seen. She’s a beautiful woman,” said one.

Another typed, “Wow! I can’t believe she is 58! If I had that body in my 50s I would be walking naked!”

By now Berry could not care less about the comments she receives about her body, sexy attire, or looks, because she’s gotten criticized for them all before.

She’s recently worn red carpet looks that have a sexy detail to them like a cutout or sheer material. Some observers aren’t shy about give their opinions on these choices, and several say she’s aged out of those type of clothes.

Last year, she posed nearly naked with her rescue cats in an Instagram post showing her wearing nothing but black underwear. She got backlash for that post as well, but those haters were wasting their breath, because the “Catwoman” didn’t seem to care.

In fact, she spoke about having self-confidence later in life in a 2021 interview with Harper’s Bazaar.

“[Being on Instagram] has been really liberating,” she said. “Now with social media, I can control what people know about me and how I present it. One of the benefits of aging — there are many — but one of them is you just start to not give a f-ck anymore. Excuse my French. But you just start to not give a f-ck!”

‘Still Trying to Get His Hands on Her Money’: Wendy Williams’ Son Calls Out Her Ex Manager After Dad Kevin Hunter Files $250M Lawsuit Over Her Guardianship

News - Fri, 06/27/2025 - 21:30

The drama never seems to end for Wendy Williams, and this time it’s coming from an unexpected source.

Her former manager and ex-husband Kevin Hunter has launched his own legal crusade to liberate the entertainer from the guardianship that has governed her daily life for the past three years, but Williams isn’t having any of it.

Wendy Williams slammed her ex-husband’s $250 million guardianship lawsuit, says she has nothing to do with it. (Photo by Lev Radin/Pacific Press/LightRocket via Getty Images)

The daytime television icon, who continues to navigate health challenges including Graves’ disease and alleged dementia and aphasia, while residing in a New York assisted living facility, has firmly rejected Hunter’s intervention with characteristic directness.

According to legal documents obtained by Atlanta Black Star, Hunter filed a federal lawsuit on her behalf in New York seeking $250 million in damages and demanding the immediate termination of Williams’ court-appointed guardian, Sabrina Morrissey. Hunter himself also is listed as a party to the suit.

The comprehensive legal action names multiple defendants including Wells Fargo bank, Williams’ former financial adviser Lori Schiller, and her ex-manager Bernie Young, alleging a conspiracy of abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation.

However, Williams herself has completely distanced herself from the lawsuit.

Speaking directly to TMZ after the legal documents were filed, Williams made her position unmistakably clear: she has absolutely nothing to do with Hunter’s lawsuit.

“I had no idea nor do I want him to be a part of my life like that, no,” Wendy told show producer Harvey Levin over the phone.

“He’s a money grubber. He’s always been that way,” she added. “It’s good to know that he’s doing such evil things again. He won’t win.”

This stark rejection comes despite court documents showing Hunter’s attempt to sue on his ex-wife’s behalf, creating a puzzling disconnect between the former couple’s objectives. Williams’ blunt dismissal of her ex-husband’s efforts suggests she views his intervention as unwelcome and financially motivated.

The lawsuit targets multiple parties, including Morrissey, Wells Fargo bank, Williams’ former financial adviser Lori Schiller and her ex-manager Bernie Young. Hunter claims Williams is being held in “fraudulent bondage,” despite allegedly passing a competency evaluation in March 2025 and being described by healthcare professionals as “alert and oriented.”

Now, the former couple’s son has spoken up against his mom’s longtime colleague who he says failed to keep her best interest. “I heard Bernie Young outside looking for a new victims. Say less goofy,” wrote Kevin Hunter Jr. in a since-deleted post on his Instagram Story.

In a video, Wendy added, “I know for a fact that Bernie Young used my American Express card to hire an attorney to file a petition against me. That was done with my American Express card. Bernie Young, you’re no good and this is not fair at all.”

A post shared by Glock Topickz (@glock__topickz)

In the lawsuit, Hunter Sr. accuses Bernie Young of serious misconduct related to the guardianship of his ex-wife According to the complaint, Young used his prior business relationship with Williams to exploit her trust and misappropriate her funds. Specifically, he allegedly used $10,000 from her American Express account — without her knowledge or consent — to retain legal services from Abrams Fensterman, LLP for the purpose of initiating a guardianship petition against her. This act is described as a “retaliatory guardianship petition” and is central to the broader claim of financial exploitation and abuse of fiduciary duty.

Kevin Sr. asserts that Young breached his legal and ethical obligations by acting as though he still represented Williams, despite having been terminated as her manager prior to August 2021. He allegedly continued to exercise control over her financial matters without authorization and misrepresented his role to third parties. The complaint states that Young failed to consider less restrictive alternatives to guardianship and aligned himself with others who stood to profit from Williams’ legal incapacitation.

Further, Hunter accuses Young of colluding with others in the guardianship scheme for personal and professional benefit, including directing his employee Leah Abraham to misuse Williams’ credit accounts. These actions, according to the suit, were not only unethical but part of a deliberate effort to gain control over her estate and image by leveraging unauthorized access to her finances.

However, the timing of Hunter’s legal intervention raises questions about his motivations, particularly given his ongoing financial disputes with Williams’ guardian.

Hunter’s lawsuit follows the halt of his $250,000 monthly alimony payments in 2022, around the time “The Wendy Williams Show” ended and Williams was placed under guardianship.

Now battling her guardian over unpaid support, Hunter claims financial exploitation, alleging Williams is being overmedicated, held at a luxury facility against her will at the Coterie, a luxury assisted living facility in New York City, and secretly photographed for profit. He argues she passed a competency test in March 2025 and was coerced into the guardianship amid financial and emotional turmoil after their divorce.

Public reaction to Hunter’s legal intervention has been overwhelmingly skeptical, with many questioning his motives.

Page Six readers have been particularly vocal in their criticism.

One commenter observed, “Kevin helping because his money is low and he is trying to gain access to that account. All help is NOT good help.”

Another user was more direct: “He’s still trying to get his hands on HER money. The guardian stands in the way. They’ve been divorced for a few years, she’s had serious mental health issues, yet he still continues to hound her. Poor woman has been used and abused for quite some time.”

The sentiment was echoed by additional commenters who stated, “Ex really wants to get his hands on her money, that’s what it’s all about” and simply, “Kevin Hunter wants back in.”

Hunter’s push to end Williams’ guardianship comes amid his own legal battles, including an alimony dispute and a failed wrongful termination suit tied to his affair. Meanwhile, Williams’ niece, Alex Finnie, has described her living conditions as a “luxury prison” and launched a GoFundMe that’s raised nearly $50,000 to fight the guardianship.

Despite the legal turmoil surrounding her, Williams has shown signs of maintaining her independence and family relationships. She recently attended her son’s college graduation and has participated in live interviews, demonstrating moments of clarity that contrast with the picture of incapacitation painted in court documents.

Zohran Mamdani Took Down Andrew Cuomo and Carries the Name of an African Revolutionary—Here’s What to Know About the Progressive Upstart Shaking Up NYC Politics

News - Fri, 06/27/2025 - 20:00

It won’t be official until next week, but Zohran Kwame Mamdani, the 33-year-old democratic socialist endorsed by progressive New York congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, has toppled the scandal-plagued former governor and Democratic establishment candidate Andrew Cuomo and won New York City’s mayoral primary.

A New York state assemblyman based in Queens since 2020, Mamdani ran for mayor on a campaign emphasizing making the city more affordable  — promoting free city buses, apartment rent freezes, 200,000 more affordable housing units, city-owned grocery stores and public child care.

While Cuomo seemed to have shaken off a sexual harassment scandal and led in polling for much of the campaign, Mamdani surged ahead in recent weeks, appealing to young, working class and left-of-center voters, who got to know him through savvy social media posts, some featuring Bollywood style antics in the streets of the city reflecting his multinational background.

Born in Kampala, Uganda, Mamdani is the son of Mahmood Mamdani, a central African anthropologist and political scientist of Indian origin, and Mira Nair, a prominent Indian filmmaker. His father chose his middle name, Kwame, to honor Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first post-independence president.

Mamdani spent the first seven years of his life in Africa, including in Cape Town, South Africa, where his father (now a professor at Columbia University) worked as an African studies professor.

At age 7 he moved with his family to New York, where he grew up on the Upper West Side. After graduating from the private Bank Street School in 8th grade, he attended Bronx High School of Science, then in 2014 earned a bachelor’s degree in Africana studies from Bowdoin College in Maine, where he co-founded Students for Justice in Palestine.

He was naturalized as an American citizen in 2018.

Before he got involved in politics, Mamdani worked as a foreclosure prevention housing counselor, helping low-income, mostly non-white homeowners in Queens fight off eviction and stay in their homes. He says it was this job that led him to run for office.

“After having spent every day negotiating with banks that valued profits over people,” Mamdani said, he “came face-to-face with the reality that this housing crisis – one which predated this pandemic – was not natural to our lives, but instead a choice … that was the consequence of decades of pro-corporate policies enacted across our country as well as our state.”

He has advocated for public housing reform as a state representative and co-sponsored a bill to create the Social Housing Development Authority that would work to increase the supply of permanently affordable housing in the state through building new homes and rehabilitating existing properties.

Mamdani was also an aspiring hip-hop musician in his 20s. In 2016, under the rap moniker Young Cardamom, he collaborated with Ugandan rapper HAB on an EP titled “Sidda Mukyaalo,” which is Luganda for “No going back to the village,” reported OkayAfrica.

In 2019, he released a single titled “Nani” under the moniker Mr. Cardamom to honor his grandmother, a social worker and influential mentor. It features veteran actress and cookbook author Madhur Jaffrey (then in her late 80s) rapping across New York City while acting as his grandmother, at one point playfully slapping him for being impudent.

Some of those videos resurfaced during the campaign, delighting voters and social media commentators, such as Eric Hovagim, who credits Mamdani for winning over the city’s international residents by speaking in both Spanish and Urdu about kitchen table issues, as well as for his tongue-in-cheek, Bollywood-style political ads explaining how ranked choice voting works and why people should vote for him.

In one video, Mamdani explored “halalflation,” or the rise in the cost of a plate of halal chicken and rice at street vendor kiosks, caused by skyrocketing permit fees for vendors. He pledged to work with the city council to on a package of street vendor reform bills.

Mamdani also made the rounds on influential radio shows such as “The Breakfast Club” with Charlamagne Tha God, where he made the case for defeating Cuomo, the heir of a political dynasty “whose [$25 million] Super PAC is funded in large part by the super billionaires who put Donald Trump back in the White House.”

Warning that Trump will use federal funds “as leverage over New York City,” Mamdani said he planned to raise $10 billion by increasing corporate taxes “to pay for our economic agenda and to start to Trump-proof our city.” He also proposed taxing the top 1 percent of New Yorkers, those making $1 million or more.

He said his plan to curb crime and reform the police department would not defund the police but shift funds in a way to allow police officers now straining from forced overtime shifts “to focus on the job they signed up for,” not the additional jobs they’re asked to do, such as serving as mental health professionals and social workers.

Mamdani has also courted some controversy with his unapologetically pro-Palestinian stance, which has included criticizing Israel for engaging in war crimes and genocide against Palestinians in retaliation for the Hamas terror attacks in Israel in 2023.

Cuomo and Republican allies of Trump have accused him of anti-Semitism, but Mamdani has emphatically denied those accusations. He has been defended by a long list of Jewish supporters, including Brad Lander, the city comptroller and the other progressive candidate in the mayoral race, who cross-endorsed Mamdani in the primary, The New York Times reported.

Mamdani also won the endorsement of Ocasio-Cortez, who told The New York Times, “Assemblymember Mamdani has demonstrated a real ability on the ground to put together a coalition of working-class New Yorkers that is strongest to lead the pack. In the final stretch of the race, we need to get very real about that.”

Earliest this month he got the nod from Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, who has been pulling in huge crowds across the country along with Ocasio-Cortez during their “Fighting Oligarchy” tour. Sanders said in a statement that Mamdani was running an “inspirational” campaign and was a “visionary” leader, and praised his plan to tax the wealthy

With 93 percent of polls reporting, Gothamist reported on Thursday that Mamdani had won 44 percent of ballots to Cuomo’s 36 percent in the first round of counting in the city’s ranked-choice vote, all but guaranteeing his upset victory in the nation’s most populous city.

Without a majority of votes, the contest still must be decided by the ranked-choice tally on July 1. But Cuomo conceded the primary race on Tuesday, telling his supporters that he’d called Mamdani to congratulate him.

Mamdani declared victory just after midnight, telling a raucous crowd of supporters at his Long Island City watch party, “Tonight, we made history. In the words of Nelson Mandela: ‘It always seems impossible until it is done.’”

“We have won because New Yorkers have stood up for a city they can afford,” he continued, “a city where they can do more than just struggle, where hard work is repaid with a stable life, where eight hours on the factory floor or behind the wheel of a cab is enough to pay the mortgage, is enough to keep the lights on, is enough to send your kids to school. … And it’s where the mayor will use their power to reject Donald Trump’s fascism, to stop mass ICE agents from deporting our neighbors and to govern our city as a model for the Democratic Party.”

If elected in November, Mamdani would be the first Muslim and Asian American mayor.

He’ll be running against the embattled incumbent, Mayor Eric Adams, whose political career was revived by the Trump administration’s Department of Justice decision in February to drop corruption charges against him. Adams is running as an independent, as is Jim Walden, a former federal prosecutor. The general election will also include Republican Curtis Sliwa, a longtime New York City radio broadcaster and social activist.

Cuomo could also jump back into the race as a wild-card candidate, having qualified to run as an independent in the general election, though he has not confirmed he will do so.

‘Have Pain in My Back—and My T–s!’: Unhinged Woman Has Meltdown on International Flight, Screams for Business Class Upgrade, Threatens to Open Emergency Exit Because She Has Breast Pain

News - Fri, 06/27/2025 - 18:49

Shocking cellphone footage caught the moments a female passenger demanded an upgrade to business class during a mid-air meltdown on an international flight.

The unidentified passenger boarded a flight from St. Petersburg, Russia, to Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, according to reports.

After the flight took off, the outburst happened.

The woman stands up in her economy-class seat to demand that cabin crew members grant her a seat upgrade, claiming she was in the wrong section and needed to be in a higher class.

“I was in business class because I was working,” the woman loudly tells the flight attendants before they try to sit her back down.

As a flight attendant responds to her plea, she asks, “How is that truly the best for me?”

Finally, a couple of male passengers who are seen surrounding her try to subdue her as she cries out and falls to the aisle floor.

The video cuts to another scene in which the woman is shouting at the flight crew as she continues her passionate plea to be transferred to business class.

This time, she cites pain in parts of her body as another reason to get the upgrade she deserves.

“I have pain in my back, I have pain in my t*ts!” the woman yells while grabbing her breasts. “I am ill! I want my business class!”

According to news reports citing eyewitness accounts, the outburst reached an extreme when the woman threatened to open the emergency exit and also tried to remove her top to strengthen her case.

Once she was restrained, she was reportedly moved to the back of the plane and was placed in police custody once the plane safely landed in Egypt. The woman’s identity and nationality have not been released.

The incident took place on an Aeroflot flight. The airline has not commented on the incident.

In-flight outbursts are all too common nowadays.

A 32-year-old woman was arrested after she was seen spitting on, verbally assaulting, and physically attacking a female passenger during a Southwest Airlines flight.

When the plane landed, she was strapped to a gurney as she was escorted from the flight by police.

‘OMG What Has She Done to Herself’: Sharon Osbourne Looks Unrecognizable as Fans Zoom In on Her Plumped Look at Husband’s Exhibit Show

News - Fri, 06/27/2025 - 18:00

Sharon Osbourne’s new look is stealing the show.

The 72-year-old British rockstar stepped out to support her husband Ozzy Osbourne at the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery in England on Wednesday, June 25. Sharon launched Ozzy’s Working Class Hero exhibition, which celebrates her Birmingham-native husband’s accomplishments in the music industry.

She opted for professional attire, wearing a white blazer with a black top underneath and black pants. A video of her cutting the ribbon and officially opening the exhibition in the U.K. city was posted on the BBC Birmingham’s Instagram page.

“OK, here we go,” she said standing in front of the ribbon with her signature red pixie cut.

Just before hearing the snap of the scissors, she said, “This exhibition is now open,” followed by an applause from the crowd.

Though the moment was supposed to be about Ozzy, the Daily Mail readers were too shocked by Sharon’s appearance to think about her husband.

The video suggests the former “The Talk” host still hasn’t regained much weight since she last addressed the issue — and her noticeably thin frame is making her lip fillers appear even more swollen and exaggerated.

One person commented, “OMG what has she done to herself.”

“Looks like she’s walked into a door. Her lips must weigh more than the rest of her body,” said another.

A third wrote, “She looks awful too much weight loss and those lips do not go well. I like the Sharon from 2008 and 2010. Now she looks like a caricature with those soup cooling lips.”

Speaking more about her overall weight loss, some fans condemned the usage of Ozempic, a Type 2 diabetes treatment medication that many celebrities have used to lose weight.

“Ozempic – Sucks the fat and the life out of you, leaving you shriveled up and gaunt,” said one.

Another wrote, “Oh my, vanity gone too far with Ozempic! It appears she has aged 20 years the past number of months. So sad. That is a warning to anyone wanting to use Ozempic for vanity’s sake and not for diabetes treatment.”

Over the years, Sharon has not only admitted to doing several types of plastic surgery, she’s also said she’s used Ozempic, which she later warned other people about.

She started using Ozempic in December 2022 and stopped it in April 2023. The former television personality lost 42 pounds in that time and revealed that she was having a hard time gaining some of it back.

Sharon told the Daily Mail in November 2023, “I’m too gaunt, and I can’t put any weight on. I want to because I feel I’m too skinny. I’m under 100 pounds, and I don’t want to be.”

She subsequently told the outlet that she still was sitting at only 98 pounds. Business Insider reported in 2023, that she had fillers, botox, at least three face lifts, breast implants, lifts to her arms and legs, gastric bypass surgery to lose weight as well as a tummy tuck.

Many wonder why the former “Charm School” host feels the need to keep making enhancements to her appearance. After sharing with the Daily Mail that she’s “had enough” with the plastic surgery, she had a vulnerable moment with the outlet.

“I don’t think I’ll ever be happy with the way I look. But I’m now satisfied. It’s taken years for me to say this, but I’ve learned my lesson. This is me. It’s finally time to leave well alone,” Sharon Osbourne said.

‘Where’s the Rest of Your Dress?’: Ivanka Trump Sparks Outrage Over ‘Inappropriate’ Dress, Fans Say It’s ‘Too Short for Her Age’

News - Fri, 06/27/2025 - 17:09

President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump, and her husband, Jared Kushner, are currently in Venice, Italy, to witness a star-studded wedding ceremony.

Before watching the billionaire Jeff Bezos exchange vows with his fiancée Lauren Sánchez, Ivanka showed off a pink and white outfit from a Venice balcony on Instagram.

Ivanka, 43, wore a sleeveless, floral dress paired with white high-heeled shoes. Kushner, 44, wore a black suit, white collared shirt, and brown shoes.

“Ready to celebrate the love story of our friends, @laurenwSanchez and @jeffbezos,” Ivanka, 43, captioned her four-photo Instagram carousel.

The former White House senior advisor’s ensemble garnered mixed reactions online. Her fans praised the garment while critics slammed the mother of three.

“I think is a cute dress, but it is not a dress for a wedding. The occasion requests a formal long dress in respect for the moment. To be fair with her, she usually dresses well, but this time the dress misses length,” read one balanced comment on Yahoo.

A second person wrote, “Where’s the rest of the dress? Looks like she went shopping in her daughter’s closet.” A like-minded individual voiced, “Too short for a lady her age.”

Some felt the dress was not age-appropriate for a 43-year-old mom. A more favorable comment read, “It is not a dress suitable for a wedding, but she can wear anything and still look gorgeous.”

Yet another person stated, “Seriously? That’s what you wear to the bachelorette party in Vegas with your girlfriends, not to the wedding. So tacky.”

Sánchez hosted a bachelorette getaway with female friends in May 2025. The ex-news anchor invited celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Katy Perry, and Eva Longoria to Paris for the pre-nuptial festivities, though Ivanka was not spotted in the photos.

“Forever starts with friendship, surrounded by the women who’ve lifted me up, illuminated my path in dark times, and shaped my heart along the way,” Sánchez captioned an Instagram page featuring her bachelorette party attendees.

Ivanka and Jared arrived at the Venice Marco Polo Airport on June 24. The pair’s three children — 13-year-old Arabella, 11-year-old Joseph, and 9-year-old Theodore — were filmed with them entering a water taxi.

Trump married Kushner in October 2009. Like his wife, Jared served as a senior adviser in his father-in-law’s first administration. The real estate investor held that White House position from 2017 to 2021.

After reportedly first meeting in 2016, Bezos proposed to Sánchez on his $500 million superyacht known as Koru in May 2023.

Bezos, 61, and Sánchez, 55, traveled to Venice for their three-day wedding extravaganza. Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Bill Gates, Tom Brady, and more celebs are expected to be in attendance.

Not everyone in Venice this week is excited about the Jeff and Lauren union. “No Space for Bezos” protests have broken out in the Italian city. Demonstrators are raising objections to the luxurious wedding disrupting the municipality.

Venice Mayor Luigi Brugnaro defended Bezos and Sánchez choosing his city for their events, which reportedly cost the couple between $9.5 million and $11 million. Brugnaro insisted the influx of their 200 guests will add a “million-dollar” economic boost.

The Amazon founder was married to his first wife, MacKenzie Scott, from 1993 to 2019. They share four kids. Sánchez previously tied the knot with Endeavor executive Patrick Whitesell from 2005 to 2019. They are parents to a son and a daughter. Sánchez is also the mother of a son with former NFL player Tony Gonzalez.
