‘What Is All You Doing, Man?’: A Black Man Was in a Dodge, Cops Were Looking for a Malibu — The K-9 Attack Was Just the Start
A Black man who was viciously mauled by a police dog in Ohio after a license plate reader falsely indicated he was driving a stolen car has agreed to a settlement.
Brandon Upchurch was driving a red Dodge pickup truck with the license plate number JLL 7637 when he was pulled over after a license plate reader confused it with a tan Chevrolet Malibu with the license plate number JLL 7362.
Toledo police officer Adrian Wilson apparently did not see the discrepancy between the two plates when he pulled Upchurch over on April 11, 2024.

(Photo: Body camera)Even after Wilson read off Upchurch’s license plate number to a dispatcher who apparently informed him it was not the same number as the one from the stolen car, Wilson called for backup anyway, arresting him on charges of obstructing and resisting arrest.
“They instantly came out with the guns drawn,” Upchurch, who was driving a red Dodge pickup truck, told local media last year.
“They did not come to my car and ask me for license, insurance, etc., anything.”
The settlement still needs to be approved by the Toledo City Council, according to WTVG-TV. And at this time, it is not clear how much he will be receiving but he was seeking at least $75,000 in his lawsuit.
The arrest proved to be another example of cops detaining Black people at gunpoint whose license plate numbers did not match the ones allegedly involved in a crime.

Verbal ReprimandAn internal investigation cleared the cops of wrongdoing stemming from the dog attack but Wilson received a verbal reprimand for “failing to verify the plate as stolen,” the lawsuit stated.
Three months after Upchurch’s arrest, with his charges still pending, Wilson — having just been reprimanded — charged Upchurch with an additional charge of failing to comply with a lawful order. All three charges were dismissed in August 2024.
Police body camera footage shows Wilson ordering Upchurch to lie on the ground while the Black man demanded to know why he had been pulled over, telling the cops all he did was pick up his cousin from work.
As the cops repeated their orders to lie on the ground, Upchurch began walking toward the muddy grass at the side of the road and was starting to kneel to comply when the cop sicced the dog on him.
“Get the f_ck off me,” Upchurch said. “What is all you doing, man?”
“Put your hands behind your back,” one of the cops said. “Don’t you f-cking move.”
The Toledo chapter of the NAACP described the arrest as “unwarranted” and “inhumane.”
“Our police are here to serve, not to occupy our neighborhoods even when they believe a violation of the law has been committed,” the Rev. Willie Perryman III, president of the Toledo NAACP branch, told the Toledo Blade.
According to the lawsuit filed on April 9.
Upon seeing the flashing lights of Officer Wilson’s patrol car, Upchurch pulled over to the side of the road near the intersection of Albion and Post. Officer Wilson then failed to visually verify that Upchurch’s license plate number matched the stolen plate reported by the FLOCK system. Instead, he proceeded to take cover behind his patrol car door, pointed his gun toward Upchurch, and ordered Upchurch to turn off his truck and throw his keys out of the vehicle. At no point did Officer Wilson explain to Upchurch why he had been pulled over.
Officer Wilson then contacted dispatch to request backup. On his call to dispatch, he read off the actual license plate number on Upchurch’s truck. At this point, Officer Wilson knew that Upchurch’s truck did not match the report from the FLOCK system, but he proceeded with the stop anyway because “he believed that there was something more to the situation, based on [Upchurch’s] behavior.” On information and belief, the dispatcher also responded to Wilson with information confirming that Upchurch’s truck was not in fact stolen.
After a backup unit arrived, Wilson told the other officers that Upchurch was being noncompliant; however, Wilson made no mention of the fact that Upchurch’s license plate number did not match the stolen car reported by the FLOCK system. The newly arrived officers took over providing cover and pointed their weapons at Upchurch’s truck while Wilson retrieved his K9 partner from his patrol car.
The incident marked another instance of modern technology racially profiling innocent Black people, proving to be just as biased as the cops themselves.
In fact, a 2018 study cited by the ACLU determined that facial recognition technology misidentified Black women 35 percent of the time while hardly ever getting it wrong for white men.
“If government agencies like police departments and the FBI are authorized to deploy invasive face surveillance technologies against our communities, these technologies will unquestionably be used to target Black and Brown people merely for existing,” the ACLU states.

Denmark has accused President Donald Trump and his administration of carrying out a secret influence campaign in Greenland to promote secession from Denmark to the U.S.
The country’s foreign minister summoned the top U.S. diplomat to Copenhagen after Denmark’s main national broadcaster reported that at least three Americans with ties to Trump had been identified in connection with the covert operation.

It also said its information on Trump’s covert campaign came from eight sources and that Danish intelligence services had uncovered the “influence operations” aimed at causing a rift between Denmark and its territory.
The Trump administration’s response? A White House official would not confirm the operation but did say, “We think the Danes need to calm down,” according to the BBC.
The State Department did confirm in a statement that Deputy Chief of Mission in Copenhagen Mark Stroh had met with Danish officials, but said, in terms of the alleged influence campaign, it would not comment “on the actions of private U.S. citizens in Greenland.”
“The U.S. government does not control or direct the actions of private citizens,” it said.
State Department Officials said Stroh had “a productive conversation and reaffirmed the strong ties among the Government of Greenland, the United States, and Denmark,” NPR reported.
The statement went on to say the U.S. relationship with Denmark and NATO is a valuable one and that Trump and his top officials have all said they respect “the right of the people of Greenland to determine their own future.”
“We continue to foster engagement and cooperation with Denmark and Greenland to support increased security and prosperity for our nations,” it said.
Trump has said repeatedly he wants Greenland and has not ruled out military action to take control of the semiautonomous, mineral-rich Arctic Island.
Denmark and Greenland have rebuffed Trump’s stated goals and said the island is not for sale. They also condemned reports of U.S. intelligence gathering operations there, according to NPR.
The report alleged that one of those involved in the covert campaign created a list of U.S.-friendly Greenlanders and the names of anti-Trumpers. They also gathered information from locals that could be used against Denmark by American media.
The report also found two other people with ties to Trump tried to develop contacts with politicians and businesses.
Social media users had a lot to say about the operation,

The footage reveals Trump giving Melania a light tap on the hand to rouse her during the tribute honoring the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the 2001 incident. She then turned her head toward his direction and smirked.
The clip quickly went viral after being shared on Instagram, unleashing a wave of reactions that ranged from amused to critical.
“Why can’t she let the American people see her emotions?! The black sunglasses just look cold!!” one observer commented.

A shocking video that shows a young Black girl being brutally attacked on a school bus is going viral, and people are demanding answers about why no adults stepped in.
The clip, originally posted to a now-private Instagram account called Cavereverything1 and later reposted by Keimond M. Powe on Facebook, has already sparked outrage online.

At one point, he presses his hand against her forehead and pushes her down as she pleads with him to stop.
“For real, Ashley, stop!” she cries out — but no adult intervenes. The bus driver is nowhere in sight, and the total lack of response has the internet furious.
Since Powe shared the footage on Sept. 8, it has garnered over 9,000 reactions.
According to Powe, a reverse search of the original poster’s profile photo led back to Carver Middle School in Chester, Virginia. In the comments, one person said they contacted the school and were told the incident happened during summer school and that administrators were “handling it.”
Powe questioned why the bus driver didn’t stop the moving bus or intervene, and questioned why the adult recording didn’t step in either, pointing out that no one even yelled for the kids to stop.
“I’m so pissed as far as I’m concerned this is not about Black or White this here is a Wrong or Right situation & it’s wrong,” he wrote. “This is your bus take control of it.”
“This is a disturbing video, it’s disgusting to watch,” one viewer said.
“This little girl was too calm. She asked him if he was going to stop. We haven’t seen the outcome of this cause she looks like she could do him so physical damage. And I’m wondering if she did reason why we don’t see the whole thing. I know some repercussions happened after this,” another person wrote.

“He’s the one who started to use his pen and the phone to shove things down our throat that we didn’t want,” she said. “He’s the one who shoved through an entitlement on our health care and our personal doctor visits that he promised he wouldn’t mess with, and then he did, really hurting people, causing massive anger and open lies.”
A clip of Kelly’s remarks drew backlash and rebuke on Threads.

President Donald Trump, 79, raised some eyebrows among his critics for what appeared to be a simple hand gesture on live television.
Trump stopped by the “Fox & Friends” morning program on Sept. 12 to provide an update on the death of conservative activist and podcaster Charlie Kirk.
A gunman shot the 31-year-old on Sept. 10, while he was on stage at Utah Valley University for a Turning Point USA event. The father of two later passed away at a local hospital.
Moments into his appearance about the investigation, Trump turned to “Fox & Friends” co-host Lawrence Jones, seated next to him on the couch, and lightly patted the libertarian on the knee.

The MAGA leader also told Jones, “I’ll tell you what. I’m very proud of you. I said you were going to do well.” He then proceeded to slap the 32-year-old Garland, Texas native’s leg twice.
A clip of Trump’s interaction with Jones was shared on The Neighborhood Talk’s Instagram page. The outlet captioned the post, “It definitely gave ‘good boy’ vibes,” implying the president’s knee taps had bigoted undertones.
Many Instagram users co-signed that caption with their own comments, with one person suggesting Trump was actually demeaning the Black reporter.

“Did he pet this man like a dog?” a second commenter expressed about the exchange between Trump and Jones. While another confirmed, “Man he patted him like a pet.”
Similarly, someone on the app said, “They said you were going to do well WTF that mean? Wipe that smile off his face so fast ‘unhand me’!”
Others zoomed in on the reporter’s facial expression to note, “That smile wiped clean off his face.” “He might as well had rubbed his head,” said another observer.
But this isn’t Trump’s first time taking a liking to a reporter in front of a live audience. Back in June, White House Correspondent Hariana Veras accepted an invitation to the Oval Office, where Trump couldn’t take his eye off the African reporter, noting repeatedly how “beautiful” she was.
“I’m not allowed to say that. You know that could be the end of my political career,” the president joked amongst a room full of people. “But you are beautiful and you’re beautiful inside. I wish I had more reporters like you,” he continued.
The flirty moment had everyone in tears from laughing, with many claiming Trump had a crush on the Black reporter.
On Jan. 20, 2025, Trump returned to the White House for a second, nonconsecutive term as the President of the United States. Americans elected him in the 2024 election over then-Vice President Kamala Harris.
‘You Idiot’: White Employee Accused Black Shopper of Stealing Even After Seeing Proof, Video Shows
A Black woman from the United Kingdom recorded an encounter with a Bershka store worker, alleging she was racially profiled at the shop after paying for some clothing items.
The video, posted on TikTok by @nelzgarden, was overlaid with text saying, “I’ve never experienced racial profile like this before. This is after she’s searched our bags and seen receipts that’s we’ve PAID!!”

In the video, @nelzgarden accuses the employee of following her and her friend out of the clothing store and shouting at them.
The two are engaged in a back-and-forth about the store worker’s conduct until the employee tells the customers that they’re “free to go.”
“You’re free to go,” the store worker says repeatedly.
“Well, now I’m free to go. I’ll do what I want, you idiot,” the shopper’s friend says.
“The way she’s changed her demeanor – It’s rage bait, and then she wants to do this when I get the camera out,” the female shopper says. “It’s madness, isn’t it?
“And now you’ve just called her on it and she’s running away,” her friend responds.
The store worker is seen walking away from the altercation, and the shoppers are seen finally leaving the store.

♬ original sound – nelzgardenThe video was posted to TikTok last month and garnered nearly 500,000 views and hundreds of comments, most of which chastised the store worker for her behavior.
“Urgh…shop assistant raising her voice, ensuring all other shoppers get a good earful of her dressing down this lady and actually making the shopper look like a thief infront of others…once she’d inspected the receipts she should have apologised for any inconvenience this may have caused and returned to whatever she was doing,” one person wrote on TikTok.
“Listen I’ve worked in retail before as a manager and honestly I don’t why staff react like this, we don’t get paid enough to be arguing with customers!” another person added.
Several other viral instances have emerged in which retail shoppers have accused staff members of racially profiling them.
Last September, a young Black woman went viral after tearfully recounting her shopping experience at a TJ Maxx in Wisconsin, where she was followed around the store by several staff members while purse shopping with her boyfriend.
That same month, a Black man posted a video of his encounter with a loss prevention employee at a Ross store after the worker accused him of stealing shoes and threatened to call the police, then walked back the accusations.

An old news interview with President Donald Trump is resurfacing — and critics say it shows just how tone-deaf he was in the hours after 9/11. Instead of offering empathy, Trump seemed more interested in making a size comparison that no one cared about except for him at the time.
The comments came 24 years ago on the day of the deadliest terrorist attack in U.S. history, when thousands were killed and the country was thrust into two decades of war in the Middle East. In a local TV interview, Trump boasted that 40 Wall Street had become the tallest building in downtown Manhattan — remarks many are now calling callous and self-serving.

Trump, then a real estate developer, in an interview with local TV station WWOR just a few hours after the attack as the ruins of the Twin Towers were still smoking and smoldering nearby, seemed to brag about the size of his building when he was asked about a skyscraper he owned nearby.
“Donald, you have one of the landmark buildings down in the Financial District, 40 Wall Street,” Alan Marcus, a WWOR analyst, said. “Did you have any damage, or did you — what’s happened down there?”
“You know 40 Wall Street was the second tallest building in downtown Manhattan and it was actually, before the World Trade Center, was the tallest,” he boasted. “And then when they built the world Trade Center it became known as the second tallest and now it’s the tallest,” he proclaimed.
“And I just spoke to my people, and they said it’s the most unbelievable sight; it’s probably seven or eight blocks away from the World Trade Center, and yet Wall Street is littered with two feet of stone and brick and mortar and steel,” he continued.
That interview came up again as Trump was running for President in 2015 and the fact-checking website Snopes put it this way: “Critics maintain that Trump’s referencing the relative height of 40 Wall Street in the immediate aftermath of the World Trade Center towers’ fall was completely gratuitous and irrelevant to the discussion, the hallmark of an egoist with no compunctions about using tragedy as an opportunity for self-promotion.”

And another said this: “How many reasons to need to understand this is one of the sickest creatures on the planet.”
But another Instagram user pointed how Trump looked sick at the Pentagon memorial Friday.

But while Johnson’s dress seemed shocking to some, she’s worn even less clothes in her 2015 erotic film “Fifty Shades of Grey.” It tells the story about a businessman (played by Jamie Dornan) who starts a relationship with a college student and introduces her to his erotic interests.
She sat with Vogue and discussed what it was like filming intimate scenes two years after the film came out.

The caption she wrote, Coming up on Wake Up America @NEWSMAX… tune in!” suggests she was likely waiting in a dressing room before going on air.
At first glance, nothing seems off. However, some fans did a deeper search and noticed some differences in her facial features. Leavitt was seen wearing a red suit, flaunting her blond armpit-length hair, brown eyebrows, and subtle makeup. But still, people thought she didn’t look like her current self.
The user who shared the photo wrote, “Can a plastic surgeon explain to me what has happened to Karoline Leavitt’s face?”
Although the social media user asked for a medical specialist’s opinion, many responders—who were not identifying as plastic surgeons—chimed in anyway. Their replies suggested they hadn’t realized the photo was originally posted on her own page in May 2023, with many commenting on her fuller lips, cheeks, and seemingly swollen face.

A third person who was shocked by the picture overall typed, “WHATTT?? I didn’t even know who she was !!! She should have kept that for when she left office so no one could recognize her!”
A fourth defender said, “She’s only 28. Looks like some drastic eyebrow makeup and contouring (I think that’s what it’s called lol)”
It’s not clear what she’s had done, if anything, as she has not come forward with any information about doing cosmetic procedures. However, her lips looked more fuller in the photo than usual and her eyebrows looked thicker and a darker brown shade.

Earlier this year, when Leavitt’s college photos went viral, fans were taken aback by how different she looked then compared to recent photos just before her 28th birthday. Her eyebrows appeared thinner and softer than usual and her lips were much thinner as well.
So even though she is mum about her changing appearance, the internet has been pressing to solve the mystery.
In fact, earlier this week on Tuesday, RadarOnline shared what a medical expert, who has not worked on Leavitt, had to say about her face.

After losing the 2022 election for New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District to Democratic incumbent Chris Pappas, Leavitt joined MAGA Inc., and took part in training for Project 2025. She then worked as national press secretary for Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign before being appointed White House Press Secretary, a role she continues to hold today.
‘Nappy-Headed [N-word]’: Black Cracker Barrel Waitress Alleges 10 Years of Racist Abuse Before Being Fired for Reporting It, Lawsuit Claims
A Black waitress at a Cracker Barrel restaurant in Tennessee said she faced heinous racial harassment during her 10 years on the job from white coworkers and supervisors who were never held accountable for their actions.
Roberta Mendez, who started working as a server at a Nashville-area Cracker Barrel in 2015, filed a federal lawsuit on Aug. 21, which detailed several instances in which her fellow wait staff would berate her with racist, derogatory statements.
According to the complaint cited by The Independent, Mendez claimed her white colleagues would call her “nappy headed [N-word,]” “burnt biscuit,” and “monkey.”

Mendez alleged that she was “physically pushed and hit” by her co-workers, and claimed that management “segregated its Black workers from its Caucasian workers.”
Even after reporting these incidents to higher-ups, the complaint states that Mendez ended up suffering consequences instead of the staff members who were guilty of the racist misconduct.
In 2023, when Mendez filed a complaint against one coworker, her suit states that she was written up and reprimanded instead of the person she accused.
“When Mendez escalated her concerns to Human Resources, she was only told not to sign the write-up,” the complaint states, adding, “No remedial action was taken.”
Things came to a head in August 2024 when Mendez finally went up the chain of command and took a list of complaints to Cracker Barrel corporate. She told company officials about the treatment she and other Black employees suffered at her workplace.
The following month, Mendez was fired for “breaking company policy,” according to the complaint. None of her white colleagues were ever reprimanded or penalized for the behavior she listed in her complaints.
Cracker Barrel has faced its share of accusations of discrimination, which has cost it millions in legal settlements and damage to its brand and reputation.
In 2004, the company had to shell out $9 million to settle a class-action lawsuit brought by more than 40 plaintiffs in 16 states, who claimed Cracker Barrel had discriminated against Black customers and employees. The plaintiffs alleged that customers were denied service, seated away from white patrons, and served food that was destined for the trash.
In 1991, Cracker Barrel instituted a highly controversial policy that it would fire and no longer hire LGBTQ+ individuals. A company memo stated that the chain would refuse to employ individuals “whose sexual preference fails to demonstrate normal heterosexual values, which have been the foundation of families in our society.”
The chain quickly withdrew that policy after it became the target of swift and intense backlash from gay rights activists.
In a statement on the policy reversal, the company said, “Our recent position on the employment of homosexuals in a limited number of stores may have been a well-intentioned overreaction to the perceived values of our customers and their comfort levels with these individuals.”
In the last month, Cracker Barrel was lambasted by conservatives and right-wingers for changing its logo design and rebranding its stores. They quickly abandoned the rebrand once the backlash ensued and began drawing complaints from President Donald Trump.

Now a resurfaced clip of him discussing the Bible is circulating, prompting many to revisit moments when he claimed to have read works he couldn’t recall—or that didn’t even exist, leaving some to wonder if he’s been reading from a whole different book.

The September 2015 conversation with CBN’s David Brody made headlines at the time, due to Trump seemingly misquoting the book of Proverbs.
Brody asked the then-aspiring political leader why the Bible was such an important book to him, which sparked a confusing response from Trump.
“There’s so many things that you can learn from [The Bible],” Trump responded. “Proverbs, the chapter ‘never bend to envy.’ I’ve had that thing all of my life where people are bending to envy.”
He added, “It’s an incredible book. So many things you can learn from the Bible, and you can lead your life. And I’m not just talking in terms of religion. I’m talking in terms of leading a life even beyond a religion.”
The issue with the answer Trump gave was that the verse he cited from the Bible supposedly does not exist. CNN reported the phrase “never bend to envy” could not be found in the holy scripture.
Progressive political commentator David Pakman covered Trump’s apparent gaffe on his YouTube channel in 2015. Pakman’s community members presented their takes on the University of Pennsylvania graduate’s remarks about envy.
“I think when Trump opens his mouth, he’s as surprised as anyone else [about] what comes out, because he obviously doesn’t actually think beforehand!” one individual exclaimed in the comment section nine years ago.

Another Trump critic on the platform suggested the billionaire businessman failed at repeating a talking point given to him by someone on his team, writing, “Somebody fed him a verse, and he still got it wrong.”
Trump often touted his love of the Bible as part of his 2016 presidential campaign to entice right-wing Christians to support him in the stacked Republican primaries.
In August 2015, the former “The Apprentice” reality television show star was questioned about his faith while appearing on Bloomberg’s “With All Due Respect” podcast.
“I wouldn’t want to get into it, because to me, that’s very personal,” Trump explained when questioned about his favorite Bible verse. “The Bible means a lot to me, but I don’t want to get into specifics.”
After he was repeatedly prompted to share his most beloved section of the good book, Trump just shot back, “No. I don’t want to do that.” The New York City native then insisted he enjoys the Old Testament and the New Testament equally.
Trump also infamously flubbed the name of a book in the New Testament in 2016. He mispronounced “Second Corinthians” as “Two Corinthians” while giving a speech at the evangelical Christian Liberty University.

‘So Freakin Funny!’: Late-Night Comedian Just Dropped the ‘Perfect’ Trick to Get Trump to Confess About His Dirty Doodle—And People Say It’s Brilliant
A resurfaced birthday letter tied to Donald Trump has reignited a storm of headlines, with critics and comedians seizing on the bizarre doodle and the President’s furious denials.
The note—originally written two decades ago and only recently handed over to Congress—features Trump’s signature inside the outline of a woman’s body. The letter, once part of Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous “birthday book,” has Trump fuming and now late-night hosts are piling on, with one comedian’s clever routine hitting especially hard.

“This book? It’s 22 years old. Who would have been faking Trump’s signature in a private birthday book in January of 2003?” a hilarious Jimmy Kimmel wondered. “The “Apprentice” wasn’t even on the air yet. This would require an extraordinary amount of planning.”
Trump’s communications team has had their hands full, repeatedly denying the President wrote the letter or signed it and making threats that Trump has his legal team on it.
“Karoline Leavitt, his press secretary, the woman who keeps insisting Trump didn’t draw this or sign this in 2003, she was 5 years old. She was too young, even for Jeffrey Epstein in 2003,” Kimmel joked as the audience laughed uproariously.
“I love that these people are so certain he didn’t do this. Well, he’s never lied before. Listen, even his lies have other lies on top of them. When the Wall Street Journal broke this story the first time, Trump said ‘I don’t even do drawings’ and then immediately 25 drawings he did came out, like 10 seconds later, which he had to know would happen,” Kimmel continued.
“He can’t help it. He can’t just stop it, ‘I didn’t draw it.’ He goes straight to ‘I’ve never drawn. I don’t even have a pen. Oh, what’s that sharpie in your hand Mr. President. Oh, that’s not a sharpie, that’s mascara. I was about to do JD Vance’s eyeliner until you interrupted,’” Kimmel mused with glee.
While plenty of people have wondered who really cares if he sent a letter to Epstein when they were friends, even as lewd as the note is, Trump’s insistence of separating himself seems to only make matters worse.
“His first instinct is to lie and then his second instinct is to wrap that lie in another lie like a Crunchwrap Supreme,” Kimmel added.
But the real clincher in his routine actually rings true and might have even worked if someone tried this tactic with Trump from the beginning.
Kimmel zoomed right in on how Trump could have confessed and perhaps quell some of the growing conspiracies over the files.
“I know how to get him to admit he did this. All you have to do is say, ‘That drawing is great.’ He will immediately take credit for it.”
Viewers were right there with Kimmel, in an uproar with laughter. One user on MSN even offered Kimmel some tips,
“Jimmy almost had it perfect. Trump’s narcissistic ego demands he take credit for others’ achievements. Someone need only say “Trump didn’t draw that birthday sketch. It is too perfectly and beautifully done, very imaginative and brilliantly funny!” Trump would be claiming ownership in a heartbeat.”
Another added, “It’s obvious, stroke EGO first. Then, you need to make sure his cut is fair.” One viewer on YouTube descibed the monologue as “So freakin funny!!!!”
“All I know is the guy who wrote, drew and forged Trumps name to this has tom be a sheer genius knowing the card would show up about 30n years or so later when Trump was to be President!,” said another viewer.
The Wall Street Journal first reported the existence of the letter earlier this summer, revealing friends of the disgraced financier sent him racy letters for his 50th birthday, including a bawdy one from Trump with a drawing of a naked woman on it.
The letters were put together in a leather-bound book by Epstein’s then-girlfriend convicted sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell, according to the Journal.
A furious Trump is still fuming over the WSJ report, calling the letter at the time of the WSJ report “a fake thing,” and filing a $10 billion lawsuit against the Journal, including publisher and former Trump confidante Rupert Murdoch.

Then on Monday members of the House Oversight Committee released the book, confirming lawyers for Epstein’s estate gave lawmakers a copy of the so-called “birthday book” containing Trump’s note to his former friend showing a sly note inside the outline of a naked woman with his signature representing her genitals and setting off a fresh round of White House denials.
Kimmel concluded the routine by pointing out Trump and Epstein weren’t just “close friends,” they were “gross friends.”
“This book Trump says he wasn’t part of contains some of the most disturbing drawings maybe ever. … It’s crazy. It’s all nuts. The MAGA world is melting down over a humiliating confrontation President Donald Trump had with a group of protesters at an upscale Washington D.C. restaurant the day before conservative activist and podcaster Charlie Kirk was assassinated.
Trump supporters are questioning how the Secret Service allowed demonstrators to get so close to the president inside Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab restaurant, which is just a few blocks away from the White House and where Trump went to celebrate his so-called successful crackdown on crime in the city.
Wednesday was the last day the president had control of D.C.’s police department under a 30-day emergency order.

Inside another group, the Code Pink activist group, confronted him from just a few feet away, shouting, “Free D.C. Free Palestine” and “Trump is the Hitler of our time.”
The group posted a video clip of the confrontation on X showing the run-in before Trump gestured for them to leave.
MAGA-backed Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna questioned whether the Secret Service had released the details of Trump’s rare outing in D.C. to Code Pink.

Pro-Trump podcaster Graham Allen wondered the same thing: “How did Code Pink get so close to our president? How did Code Pink know he would be there? This was NOT a public event. Why were they able to SHOUT and YELL at the president for so long?!?”
Trump sycophant and right-wing nutjob Laura Loomer, who is known for targeting administration officials she thinks are disloyal to Trump, slammed the Secret Service, suggesting House Speaker Mike Johnson, who is third in line to the presidency, could have even become president because both Trump and Vance were at the restaurant.

Not all MAGA maniacs agreed with Loomer, pointing out that the President’s security detail is often incognito.

Code Pink easily got into the fancy restaurant simply by making a reservation.
“Donald Trump’s DC restaurant publicity stunt made him look like a right noodle when a women’s protest group served up something not on the menu,” the Poke newsfeed joked.
“That dinner was most definitely gonna be one sour meal and nerve-rattling company for all at the table after that embarrassment. This is the best karma he’s publicly received since his criminal guilty verdict and being found an adjudicated rapist,” another X user observed.
The protester’s confrontation with Trump came a day before right-wing political activist and Trump supporter Charlie Kirk was gunned down at a speaking event at Utah Valley University. Kirk is widely known in Republican circles and was a close friend of Trump’s oldest son, Don Jr.
The 31-year-old Kirk was also widely credited with helping Trump win a second term in office after mobilizing his base of millions of social media followers.
He was killed as he was answering a question about the proliferation of mass shootings in America.

The caught-on-camera verbal attack began when he learned from security guards about a change in the bus schedule. He threw his paperwork on the floor, and the abuse only escalated from there. “These godd-mned [n-words] are so stupid,” he said, referring to Black security guards, and then grabbed his backpack and stormed out of the facility.

Despite being harangued and harassed, the security guard prevented further escalation and calmly escorted the man off the property, ordering him to “keep walking.”
“I’m walking as fast as I can,” the aggressor responded, his words echoing loudly in the covered entryway. He suddenly used a deeper tone of voice, acting as if he were ready for a fight. “If you touch me, we’re gonna have a mother–king problem, [n-word],” he barked.

As he walked off, the person filming the ordeal was asked to put her phone down. “Ma’am, please don’t record that,” a woman said off camera, inspiring plenty of annoyed comments on Reddit, where the video was first posted. “What the hell was that about?” asked one. “So Thomas the Tank Engine doesn’t get blamed!” joked another.
“I think someone needs a nap or a mouth washing!” said one, followed by, “Dude is wild for wearing that, speaking with that language.”
This is one of many racist attacks that have been caught on camera in recent years; however, reported hate crimes in the U.S. have remained about the same between 2023 and 2024, decreasing just 1.5 percent, according to the latest figures from the FBI. About 52 percent of those were motivated by race, ethnicity, or ancestry, the FBI data shows.

It’s not clear who or what Blige may be referring to but her name was recently in headlines after desperate requests from her R&B singing peer Tyrese Gibson.
The 46-year-old vocalist posted a photo of Blige in July, asking his followers to help him get in contact with her for a song.
After sharing that he had been trying to get in touch with her for two weeks he wrote, “Dear Mary, if you can read this, I have something so so very special of all the years I’ve been knowing you I’ve never hit you like this.”

Blige is also pushing back against a $5 million lawsuit accusing her of trying to lure rapper Vado away from his contract with M.I.S.A. Management, run by her former stylist Misa Hylton. The complaint, obtained by Atlanta Black Star, claims the singer’s alleged interference left Vado in financial distress despite completing an album in July 2024 that remains unreleased.

Under the moniker Jane Doe, Zuniga filed the $50 million lawsuit in a Nevada state court back in April. She claimed that she and the former NFL player were in a “rocky consensual” relationship for two years. During that time, she claimed Sharpe, who is more than 30 years her senior, manipulated and controlled her and even threatened her life multiple times.
Sharpe and his team released text messages and argued that the aggressive language used between them was part of the nature of their relationship.
In one of the several messages, Zuniga allegedly wrote, “I want you to put a dog collar around my neck and choke me with it.”
His legal counsel used those messages to show the court “a sampling of a broader pattern of graphic communication initiated by Ms. Zuniga.” The team’s evidence also included requests for fantasy scenarios from the young woman.
As a response, snippets of recorded audio calls were released by the plaintiff, where Sharpe can be heard making violent threats.
In one clip, the two were seemingly having a disagreement, in which Zuniga told Sharpe not to manipulate her.
The term seemed to irk Sharpe as his response to her was, “Oh, lord, have mercy. If you say that word one more time, I’m gonna f-cking choke the sh-t out of you when I see you.”

The world took sides on whether Sharpe was to blame or not but ultimately it seems Zuniga prevailed.
On July 18, her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, revealed that the two parties had “reached a mutually agreed upon solution.”
He added, “All matters have now been addressed satisfactorily, and the matter is closed. The lawsuit will thus be dismissed with prejudice.”
The details of the settlement are sealed but shortly after it was reached Zuniga revealed on her Instagram that she had retired from creating content on an adult subscription website.

Two weeks later, the creator of the “Club Shay Shay” podcast was sued by another woman for $20 million for spreading fake news about her viral moment at a Usher concert. The case against Sharpe, his media empire, and his “Nightcap” co-host Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, reportedly was dismissed and no damages were ordered.
