When celebrities break up, the public usually gets polished statements about “mutual respect” and “remaining friends” — unless you’re Taylor Swift or Jennifer Lopez, who turn breakups into potential Billboard hits. But behind the scenes, those polite soundbites rarely tell the whole story.

A new tell-all reveals what Gwyneth Paltrow really thought about ex-fiancé Brad Pitt—and the private comments are a far cry from the carefully managed Hollywood breakup narrative.

According to US Weekly, Amy Odell’s upcoming book, “Gwyneth: The Biography,” lifts the lid on Paltrow’s emotional fallout after her split from Pitt in the late 1990s. The book reveals that while the actress stayed silent publicly, behind the scenes she carried lingering hurt — and harsh opinions — especially after Pitt moved on with Jennifer Aniston.

Paltrow and Pitt began dating in 1994 after meeting on the set of “Se7en.” They got engaged in 1996, but by 1997, they had ended things. At the time, they were one of Hollywood’s golden couples. But Odell claims Paltrow wasn’t exactly at peace with the breakup. During a 2000 press interview at the Toronto Film Festival, shortly after Pitt married Aniston, a reporter brought up the wedding, and Paltrow wasn’t having it.

“Are you really asking me this question? I can’t comment on this kind of thing,” she reportedly snapped, her eyes described as piercing as “daggers.”

But privately, her comments allegedly were far less restrained. Odell writes that Paltrow often told friends she felt sad about the marriage and would say Brad “has terrible taste in women.”

Her sharp opinions didn’t stop there.

During a meeting with Aerin Lauder, heiress to the Estée Lauder empire and the woman who later chose Paltrow as the face of their Pleasures fragrance, the actress reportedly said Pitt was “dumber than a sack of s–t.”

Odell suggests that class and upbringing may have shaped her opinion.

Paltrow was raised in New York’s elite social circles and attended the prestigious Spence School. Pitt, by contrast, came from Missouri and was raised in a conservative, religious household. According to the unauthorized biography, Paltrow saw herself as “smarter, better educated, and more sophisticated” than Pitt.

Still, those closest to her didn’t necessarily agree. Her father, director Bruce Paltrow, reportedly loved Pitt. Her friends also found him to be kind, calling him “the nicest guy.”

During the filming of “Emma,” Paltrow was said to have opened up to crew members, admitting doubts about her relationship with Pitt and revealing a crush on Hugh Grant. She also pointed out their cultural differences in interviews, once saying she had to teach Pitt about different types of caviar.

Once Daily Mail posted about the book, its readers had strong reactions — and they didn’t hold back.

One reader wrote, “You don’t need a book to know that. He is a weak man who was manipulated and used for a narcissistic woman’s purposes, paraded around to support every woke whim she wanted to pursue. Of course, he is both dumb and has terrible taste in women.”

Another asked, “So if he had terrible taste in women is she including herself too ?????”

One person added, “WoW !! It’s attack Brad Pitt year ?? This man has had a terrible few years and now the self elected queen of A-listers is pounding him down as well ?? Is she trying to upgrade her own image ???”

And others turned their criticism directly toward Paltrow.

“Ironically most people say the same about her. Nepo baby with her own nepo baby mean girl. Expulsion for bullying. Not little apple,” a comment read.

Despite the alleged criticism and Paltrow’s less-than-glowing words, Pitt still has devoted fans.

Jamaican grandmother Sharon Fils-Aime went viral after meeting Pitt at the premiere of his new film “F1.” Her beaming face and playful shout — “Braddy Waddy!” — was pure joy. She later said he was “one of my favorite cups of vanilla,” proving that even with celebrity baggage, Pitt still makes hearts flutter.

In a 2023 interview, Paltrow admitted that the breakup left her “totally heartbroken,” although she called it “the right thing at the time.”

She cited their nine-year age difference and different life stages as contributing factors. Since then, she’s had her own romantic journey — marrying Coldplay frontman Chris Martin in 2003, divorcing in 2016, and marrying TV producer Brad Falchuk in 2018.

“Gwyneth: The Biography” hits shelves on July 29 and promises to reveal even more behind-the-scenes stories about one of Hollywood’s most polished — and opinionated — stars.

Rachael Ray’s constant speech slurring on television and some of her in-person behavior has her beloved fans wanting some answers about her well-being.

Rumors about her alleged unhealthy relationship to alcohol have been haunting Ray for years. It doesn’t help that she’s had several moments online where fans notice that the way she is speaking seems off. While many would jump the gun and point to liquor as the culprit for her actions, other sources on July 26 say there are more wholesome reasons.

One TV source told the New York Post, “People have been concerned about her for the past couple of years.”

Another said, “There’s always been rumors that she drinks.”

But others say alcohol is not to blame, rather how she chooses to physically present herself to the public. 

One purported insider, ensuring the outlet that she isn’t having problems says she is “taking care of herself” and “doing things on her own terms.”

The TV source added, “Rachael Ray is someone that isn’t into hair and makeup, and high heels. People are judging her based off of what a standard of beauty is. She’s not that girl.”

Fans commented under the outlet’s article with their reactions. 

One person said, “Clearly she’s not well. But she’s a grown adult with family and friends who can intervene if they want to. If she wants to drink and be sloppy, that’s her choice, as are the problems that come with it. Those who find it disturbing should just stop watching her. Guarantee those viewers have more than enough in their own lives to worry about and pay attention to.”

Another person who seems more concerned for Ray said, “ALL the signs are there for some sort of catastrophic (mental ?)health episode. Needs to be hospitalized immediately for health/wellness. Hope her loved ones read this.”

A third said, “She (allegedly) really likes alcohol but I still wonder if something is medically wrong with her. MS? (weight gain, slurred speech, falling).”

It’s true that Ray doesn’t care for the glitzy look. She told NPR back in 2019 about her fashion dislikes. 

“Every time I put high heels on and I have to go somewhere in a dress, I feel uncomfortable,” she said. “I’m not supposed to be at the party. I don’t want people looking at my body or what I chose to wear that day. I don’t care who made my shoes. I just don’t. And so I can’t be something that I’m not. It’s the truth.”

But her choice of more relaxed and casual clothing doesn’t explain the slurred speech.

Health concerns have been mentioned as a potential answer for her bizarre behavior but she hasn’t confirmed nor denied that theory. 

What stood out to some people, however, was what Ray said on her podcast “I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead” back in October 2024. 

She started by explaining how she is , “a homemaker” and said that she enjoys house-like duties like “chores” and “being in the kitchen.”  

She added, “I like what people consider physical work. I like making dinner, planning dinners, making lists. I love physical labor, helping carry in the wood.”

But, at the time, Ray said she had to put a pause on some of those things she loves. 

“I’ve had a couple of bad falls in the last couple of weeks,” she said, “so I haven’t been doing that in a while.”

Fans have shown their concern for Ray under some Instagram posts, one of the latest being from this past Mother’s Day. In a video, she told the story about being “very, very poor” as a young woman living in New York and in order to avoid scaring her mother by telling her how poor she was, she figured out a different solution. 

She started a show called “$40 A Day” where she demonstrated how to make dinner with only $40.

While she seemed mostly fine in the video, some fans believed she appeared off and questioned if she was OK and if it had to do with her health.

Then, in June, a source told the Daily Mail that Ray was exhibiting “bizarre behavior” and that she “seemed off” during an event at Broadway Spirits in Manhattan. Ray was there handing out bottles of gin and baseball caps to some of the fans who showed up but it was how she interacted with the fans that seemed suspicious. 

“She got oddly close to some people, hugging them in a way that seemed overly familiar as she posed for photos,” said one source.

“You know how Drew Barrymore acts with celebrity guests on her talk show — just like that.” 

Barrymore is known for being touchy with some of the guests on her self-titled talk show. 

Now a rep from her team is telling the Post, “Yes, we have seen some comments and questions from fans. Rachael focuses on the majority of fans asking her for help getting dinner on the table or for ways they can best feed their family with food prices on the rise. Rachael is working at her usual vigorous pace.”

A Texas congressional candidate was wrestled to the floor at a contentious redistricting hearing, dragged out of the meeting and arrested after speaking out against Republicans’ plans to redraw the state’s congressional districts.

It happened Thursday in Austin at the Texas Committee on Congressional Redistricting hearing when Isaiah Martin, a University of Houston graduate and Democratic candidate for the seat left vacant by the March 5 death of Rep. Sylvester Turner in the state’s 18th Congressional District, spoke out against President Donald Trump’s call to add more Republicans in Congress through redistricting.

“The game is rigged. We already know this is the way the situation is going to be,” Martin told the lawmakers during his time at the microphone.

“Many of you that are Republicans … You guys understand the game. You got to get Trump’s endorsement. That’s the name of the game to be a Republican nowadays,” he continued.

“And you know very clearly that Trump told every single one of you that he needs five seats. But there will be a retaliation for that,” Martin added.

He went on to point out that as Republican states gerrymander out Democrats in new congressional maps ahead of the 2026 mid-term elections, states controlled by Democrats are vowing to do the same to Republicans.

“So for all of the work that you guys see, that you guys claim to be doing, when we should be talking about the fact that we live in a state that is unaffordable for people. Our economy is wrecked. People cannot find good jobs. We literally have property taxes going up every single year, despite the fact that you Republicans have been in office for nearly 30 straight years,” he hammered them.

“I mean, this is the game that we live in right here, and you choose after we literally got after one of the worst mass casualty events in our state’s history, to go and gerrymander people out of their seats. That’s what you have chosen to do with your time because you’re scared of Donald Trump.”

Martin was referring to severe flooding in north central Texas over the Fourth of July holiday that killed almost 140 people and caused widespread devastation.

He went on to accuse the Republicans of being “scared” of Donald Trump. “You are scared and terrified because you’re seeking an endorsement,” he alleged.

“He runs our vote because you guys know that you cannot dare cross him,” Martin continued.

He called out for people to have “the cojones” to “call this stuff out.”

That’s when the chairman of the hearing began trying to shut him down, telling him his time had expired.

But Martin wasn’t through. He ignored the order and began yelling that Republican lawmakers had “no shame.” “No shame for what you’ve done,” he yelled as lawmakers started calling for the sergeant to remove him and ordered Martin’s mic cut off.

Martin repeated that they had “no shame” as two burly white guys began dragging him from the room. They wrestled the Democrat to the floor and then arrested him.

Attendees gasped as one yelled “Get off of him!”

Martin continued yelling, “You should all be ashamed,” as he was dragged out of the room.

“History will not remember you kindly! You should all be ashamed!”

Social media lit up as MAGA voters and opponents voiced their two cents on the wild hearing.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom responded to Martin’s post on the episode.

“In Donald Trump’s America, if you disagree — you are silenced. Shameful,” the governor wrote.

“This is what a violation of freedom of speech looks like,” Just a news boy posted on X.

Another X user was blunt in responding to the altercation. “Donald is a coward that doesnt like when voices oppose him. He doesn’t understand what America is about at all. He is anti American.”

X user Bonita Applebaum wants people to take action. “Why the f$%k do people just sit there and let people get dragged out and harmed? Get your asses up and DO something!” she demanded.

Other critics of the plan, accuse the Texas GOP of trying to weaken the state’s Black and Latino voting blocks, similar to a successful redistricting move by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, which the state supreme court just upheld.

DeSantis drew up a new map in 2022 eliminating a longtime majority-Black district. The gerrymandered map removed the state’s 5th Congressional District, which had been held by a Black representative for almost 30 years.

The decision, according to The Associated Press, means the current districts, which give Republicans a 20 to 8 advantage over Democrats, will remain in place for next year’s midterms and beyond.

Anthony Anderson is addressing the backlash he is receiving after an old and controversial interview he did with a young Lindsay Lohan resurfaced.

In the clip, Anderson was filling in as a host for Sharon Osbourne in 2003 on her self-titled talk show “The Sharon Osbourne Show.” In the more than 20-year-old episode, the “Kangaroo Jack” star was speaking to Lohan while she was promoting her then-newly released film “Freaky Friday.” But he made some inappropriate comments to her throughout their interaction and Lohan was a minor at the time. After reflecting on his actions, a spokesperson for Anderson claims that his comments were not what they seem.

The statement — which Entertainment Weekly reported it received via email — said, “This interview was clearly intended as comedy. He regrets that the humor was in poor taste and maintains the utmost respect for Lindsay. Any implication to the contrary is both inaccurate and potentially defamatory.”

Fans responded to the apology and the clip in Hollywood Unlocked’s comments.

One person said, “Never funny.”

A second person, “What a NON apology.”

A third said, “Smh crazy. She even gave him an out.”

In 2018 he was under criminal investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department after a woman who catered an event for him accused him of assault. He “unequivocally dispute[d] the claim,” according to a then statement by his rep. 

The L.A. district attorney office declined the case when the woman refused to be interviewed. 

In the start of his interview with Lohan, which was aired on Dec. 16, 2003, she enters the stage carrying a present and places it under a Christmas tree. She then walks over to Anderson and they grab hands before sharing an air cheek kiss and sitting down.

He later tells Lindsay that he and his children loved watching her in the 1998 film “The Parent Trap.” 

Anderson has a daughter named Kyra Anderson whom was born in 1996 and his son Nathan Anderson came into the world in 2000. He had them both with his ex-wife Alvina Stewart.

Placing his hand on her knee, Anderson told Lohan, “And you’ve grown up a whole lot since then.” He then slid over closer to her on the couch. 

Minutes into the conversation, Lohan revealed that she was no longer living with her parents but that she was living with her friend Raven-Symoné. She then said her and Symoné’s rooms are completely different. Hers was all pink whereas Symoné’s is “darker.”

Anderson followed up that comment by gifting Lohan a pink pillow with his face on it. 

The “Irish Wish” star assured Anderson that no one would be at their home and that she doesn’t have a boyfriend. 

Speaking to the audience, Anderson said, “She’s single but looking.” Then Lohan waved out to the crowd and said, “but I’m illegal for people that are old.”

It’s not clear what Lohan thinks about their exchange as she has not come out with any statements. In fact, she’s been focused on the current press tour to the sequel of “Freaky Friday” which is titled “Freakier Friday.” Actress Jamie Lee Curtis will be resuming her role as Lohan’s mother in the comedy. The two will navigate the challenges of merging two families after accidentally being swapped with two other members of the family.

‘What a NON Apology’: Anthony Anderson Under Fire After Resurfaced Clip Shows Him Making Disturbing Comment to Lindsay Lohan

President Donald Trump just can’t escape the heat from the broiling controversy surrounding his Justice Department’s decision to close the Jeffrey Epstein case. Trump even tried fleeing to his golf courses in Scotland Friday, but the scandal followed him right across the Atlantic.

He is desperate to make the story go away. Trump has threatened to prosecute former President Barack Obama. He has threatened to fire Fed chair Jerome Powell. He sent prosecutors down to Florida to interview fellow Epstein co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell.

He is suing Rupert Murdoch, two Wall Street Journal reporters and the newspaper’s publisher, Dow Jones, for libel and slander over reporting on a racy book of letters written by some of the most famous people in the world, including Trump and former President Bill Clinton.

In fact, as he was leaving for Scotland on Friday morning he stopped to talk with reporters who kept questioning him about the Epstein files.

When Trump tried to change the subject, the reporters kept returning to how his administration has handled the Epstein case. That’s when Trump said the press really should look into Clinton and Harvard’s president, that he “had nothing to do” with Epstein.

“You ought to be speaking to Larry Summers,” Trump said.

“You ought to be speaking about some of his friends that are hedge fund guys. They’re all over the place. You want to be speaking about Bill Clinton, who went to the island 28 times. I never went to the island. They’re a bunch of sick people,” Trump insisted.

“He didn’t go? According to who? Him! He did host several beauty pageants with Epstein did he not. Epstein pleaded the fifth when asked. Pleaded the fifth when one of his closest friends sent him under age girls for his birthday. Yeah, okay!” an X user said.

As Trump was heading to his Marine 1 helicopter with the reporters still yelling questions about Epstein, the President seemed to say he would release the list but still told reporters to look into Clinton’s relationship with the disgraced financier and convicted sex-trafficker.

“You should focus on Clinton. You should focus on the former President of Harvard. You should focus on some of the hedge fund guys,” Trump said before seeming to say he would release the files, but he may have been referring to the names of the “hedge fund guys.”

 “I will give you a list. These guys lived with Jeffrey Epstein. I sure as hell didn’t,” Trump said.

Bloomberg News reported Friday that Clinton responded to Trump trying to throw him under the bus by saying Trump should release the files.

CNN senior reporter Edward-Isaac Dovere quoted a person close to former President Clinton as saying, “It’s been 20 years since President Clinton last had contact with Epstein, well before any of his crimes came to light. President Clinton has never been accused of any wrongdoing. Furthermore, when asked about the release of documents last year by the court, we did not and do not object to the unsealing.”

Dovere reports that statement was in response to a question about The Wall Street Journal’s reporting on Epstein’s leather-bound birthday book from 2003. Letters from both Clinton and Trump are in the book. Trump has repeatedly denied he wrote the typed letter, which includes a drawing of a naked woman, but the Journal reports his signature is on it.

X user RL Peters questioned the reference to “20 years.” “This was 2010,” she wrote above a photo of Clinton escorting his daughter Chelsea Clinton down the aisle at her wedding. Epstein’s ex-girlfriend Ghislane Maxwell is among the guests.

This X user was a little more direct: “So wait, the Trump administration, the DOJ, FBI, House and Senate Republicans are making all this fuss and creating distractions over the Epstein files to protect Bill Clinton?”

Trump meantime just could not dodge the controversy which is following him around like a bad stench.

When he arrived in Scotland on Friday, reporters were again waiting for him. He was asked whether he was ever briefed on the Epstein files.

“No, I was never briefed, no,” he insisted, although reports indicate he was briefed by the Justice Department twice in May.

He tried again to divert attention from the scandal.

“I’m focused on making deals and not conspiracy theories that you are. I watch you people, it is so sad. Talk about the success of our country instead of this nonsense you talk about over and over,” he demanded.

“The Breakfast Club” host and comedian Jess Hilarious is not letting up on streamer N3on, who is apologizing and feeling regretful about his past after her latest video.

The streamer went on the popular radio show after reaching out to its other host, Charlamagne Tha God, and claiming he had a big announcement. But instead, the 20-year-old was confronted on the show over racial remarks that he made in his past, and not only was he upset over it, but so was some of his fan base. Some requested that Jess apologize to N3on, and, according to her, “it ain’t gon’ happen.”

On Thursday, July 24, she shared a video explaining that she did research on N3on and discovered some disturbing comments he made targeting Black people. In the video, she added evidence from past years with N3on saying disparaging things, followed by clips from the original July 15 “The Breakfast Club” interview with him. He followed up with his own post explaining his behavior and assuring the public that he’s turning a new leaf.

One of the receipts Jess shared in her video was of N3on in 2023 screaming, “I f-cking hate you Black people” while on stream. She added another video from that same year where he yells at a Black woman saying he will “whip” her and proceeds to call her a “dumb a– Black monkey.” 

Additionally, N3on was on “Raw Talk” podcast with host Bradley Martyn in 2023 where he shared a story about how a Black man tased his father and “robbed him of $50,000.” He also talked about a time where his father fired a Black woman “because they’re f-cking lazy and just stupid. So basically what happened was she came late for work, he fired her and then she came with her boyfriend and robbed the entire place.”

Years ago, N3on also had a back and forth with popular streamer Kai Cenat and in one  of his responses he called Cenat’s mother a “fat Harriet Tubman b-tch” and also stated that he would perform sexual acts on her. There were also videos of N3on making jokes by calling different monkeys “Kai.”

And all of these moments of N3on saying these things were included in Jess’ video. What led to her posting her video was N3on’s response to his interview with “The Breakfast Club” where he blasted the show for interrogating him.

The hosts pressed N3on about his racist past and he reflected on those behaviors while also giving some explanation. He revealed that he is battling Crohn’s disease, which prevented him from going to school even up to his last two years of high school, thus causing him to be “sheltered” and on the internet so much. 

Giving context to his internet actions, he said, “I never said anything in anyone’s face. Like, I barely even went to school. So it was just a thing where I was just like in my basement, in a secluded area, with the desktop set up there. Just thinking I could say whatever, without understanding the meaning of anything.” 

But at some point, he got visibly frustrated in the interview over being confronted about his past. He said, “There’s no reason for coming for someone for something that they apologized for five times and it was not the person who I am now and it was years ago.”

He also clarified that since he and Cenat’s disagreement he has apologized to him “five different times.” N3on even confirmed to the radio hosts that he currently does not have “a least favorite race.”

But, at the end of the interview, not only did he complain on his stream that the hosts didn’t shake his hand — which Envy and Charlamagne did give him a pound and Loren Lorsa hugged him — but he also made follow up videos criticizing the interview.

In one, he trolled Charlamagne by claiming he wanted to “make peace” and to do that he offered to buy him a ticket to Turkey and get a hair transplant to fix Charlamagne’s balding head.

This is when Jess made her response, and to that she got a lot of support from fans.

One fan responded to Jess’ post telling her, “And you better not apologize. He deserves all the smoke and backlash.”

Since Jess’ post, N3on has made yet another response apologizing on Saturday, July 26.

An Alabama family is grieving the loss of a 3-year-old boy who died after being left in a hot car alone for hours by an Alabama Department of Human Resources employee.

Authorities identified the child as Ke’Torrius Starks Jr., who died on July 22 after being left unattended for five hours in a car in which internal temperatures reached upwards of 150 degrees that day.

Attorneys for the boy’s family say that Starks, who was in temporary foster care, was picked up from daycare at 9 a.m. by a social worker for a scheduled, supervised visit with his father.

The visit concluded at 11:30 a.m., at which point Starks was supposed to be returned to the daycare center.

But Starks was never dropped off.

Instead, the social worker picked up food for her family, shopped at a tobacco store, then drove to her home in Birmingham, parked in the driveway, and went inside, leaving Starks in the car.

Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Starks estimates that Starks was left in the car from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., AL.com reported. The vehicle was not on, and the windows were rolled up.

The child was found fastened in his car seat and unresponsive at 6:03 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene after medics were called.

“This is a heartbreaking and preventable tragedy,” said the family’s attorney, Courtney French, per ABC3340. “With the current extreme outside temperatures and the heat index of 108 degrees, the interior temperature of the car where KJ was trapped likely exceeded 150 degrees.”

“This is a parent’s worst nightmare. Our baby should be alive,” the child’s parents said in a statement provided by French.

KJ’s father lauded his son’s intelligence. “Knew how to count, his colors … knew all the animals,” he told WVTM.

The employee who transported Starks has been fired, according to a DHR spokesperson. The state agency said the individual worked for The Covenant Services, a company contracted by DHR.

But the family demands more accountability then just a termination. “Because it was neglect … that was the true cause of his death.”

“A child in DHR custody was being transported by a contract provider when the incident occurred,” a spokesperson for Alabama DHR told Al.com, while further adding, “The provider has terminated their employee. Due to confidentiality, DHR cannot comment further regarding the identity of the child or the exact circumstances.”

State lawmakers are also reacting and raising questions about Starks’ death.

“My initial reaction is one of shock and confusion. How and why did this happen? I am more concerned about the family of this young child, dealing with this tragedy at this time,” said Alabama Rep. Ontario Tillman. “I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family. I will seek more information about the facts surrounding this unthinkable incident.”

“As a mother and as the Senator for the district where this tragedy happened, I am devastated by the death of little KeTorrius Starks Jr. We need answers, and we may need to examine state law to make sure this never happens again. My prayers are with his family,” said Alabama State Senator Merika Coleman.

Birmingham police interviewed the employee, but no arrest was made. Joe L. Roberts, chief deputy district attorney for Jefferson County said on Friday that the results of the investigation will be submitted to the district attorney for any possible charges, according to New York Times.

Starks’ death marks the first hot car death in Alabama in 2025. At least 16 children have died this year after being left in hot vehicles, according to a report by Kids and Car Safety.

According to a July 24 report, an insider told Radar Online, “It’s not a good look,” raising concern about if Jaden had been caught smoking in public by local police and charged with a criminal offense.

“Clearly, Jaden is heading in a dangerous direction. He was out at 3 a.m. in a foreign city partying his head off and then spending a lot less time at home,” said the insider. “And with his parents living separately and their marital situation up in the air, he’s probably avoiding them altogether.”

“The Pursuit of Happyness” star has often been described as a “sweet kid” who looked like a combination of both his parents. But now that narrative is not as prominent due to his behavior.

“He’s misunderstood. He’s been spoiled his whole life, so he’s used to doing whatever he wants and making people laugh – often at the cost of looking ridiculous,” another unconfirmed source told the outlet. “Jaden’s been completely let off the leash. President Donald Trump is pulling out all the stops in his latest efforts at trying to make the Jeffrey Epstein uproar among his MAGA base go away. His latest ploy? Accusing former President Barack Obama and top Democratic officials of “treason” in a wild conspiracy related to Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.

“This is the worst conspiracy I’ve ever heard in my life,” host Abby Phillip said to her panelists Wednesday on CNN’s NewsNight.

Trump’s Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, last week called on the Justice Department to prosecute Obama and other officials for participating in a so-called “treasonous conspiracy” related to the 2016 presidential election.

In a newly unclassified report, Gabbard accused Obama and others of manipulating and withholding key information related to Russian meddling in order to make Trump look bad.

Gabbard said Friday she’s providing intelligence to the Department of Justice “to deliver the accountability that President Trump, his family, and the American people deserve,” Politico reported.

Then Trump accused Obama of “treason” both in a social media post Monday and again Tuesday in the Oval Office during a trade meeting with Philippines leader Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

Phillips tried to get right-wing analyst Scott Jennings to “back up” assertions about Trump’s  wacky claims.

“How on earth would Democrats have been trying to take down Trump with documents they never used to take down Trump?” Phillip asked.

“They crippled almost his entire first term by convincing one half of the country that Russia stole the 2016 election,” Jennings shot back.

“But where is the Democrat conspiracy on this issue?” Phillip asked again.

“Here’s the deal. There’s no conspiracy and there’s no story,” Jennings admitted. Jennings then goes on to cite a Fox News poll showing Trump’s approval rating sinking, but supposedly not over Epstein.

“The scandal is this, that high ranking Democrats abuse their intelligence positions to try to convince half the American people and one entire political party that Russia stole the 2016 election and they succeeded today. It is an article of faith among Democrats.,” Jennings insisted.

Phillip pressed him on it. “How did they — I think, Scott, you have to actually back that up. How did they do that in your opinion? I mean, you’re alleging that there was a conspiracy led by Obama to say that Russia changed the votes, which they did not say. So, what are you talking about exactly?”

“No, I’m telling you that the program was this. They were shocked that Donald Trump won the election. They couldn’t believe it. And so, these people, I don’t know who is responsible for it ultimately, but it deserves investigation,” Jennings said as he floundered around trying to defend Trump.

Former Bill Clinton aide Keith Boykin wasn’t let Jennings’ inconsistencies fly. “Wait a minute. Just a minute ago, but you were saying The Wall Street Journal —,” Boykin interjected.

“Why don’t you let me finish?”, Jennings fired back. Ultimately his point was that the Democrats wanted the “American people to believe that it was an illegitimate president. That was the point.”

“Who are “these people?” Phillip reiterated.

Then Caroline Downey with the conservative-leaning National Review claimed Obama was “the architect” of a “hoax,” but was also unable to back up the falsehoods when pressed and was left like a deer in a headlight.

Downey went on to claim “that Obama was indeed the architect of the Russian collusion hoax — because he fed fake intelligence to the media.”

A perplexed Phillip’s responded, “Well, hold on. What exactly was he the architect of?”

“He’s — he’s the one who gave the — his — his officials gave the assessment to the media that was derived from the discredited Steele dossier,” said Downey.

When pressed to offer what the assessment said, Downey was lost but Phillip wasn’t backing down.

“No. What did it actually say? Not what is it derived from. What did it actually say? What was the conclusion of the I.C. assessment?”

Multiple intelligence agencies did find that Russia did meddle in the election on Trump’s behalf.

And Trump’s accusations that Obama committed “treason” are so serious that the former President issued a rare rebuke of Trump’s silly antics this week.

“Out of respect for the office of the presidency, our office does not normally dignify the constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House with a response,” Obama spokesperson Patrick Rodenbush said. “But these claims are outrageous enough to merit one. These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a week attempt at distraction.”

The Coldplay cheating scandal involving two co-workers continues.

Kirstin Cabot, the former chief of HR at the tech company, was spotted outside without her wedding ring weeks after he was seen on a Jumbotron kiss cam with the CEO of the company, Andy Byron.

It may have no meaning, being that she seemed to be doing yard work when she was photographed, but it could indicate that her marriage is in trouble due to her controversial actions.

Cabot was captured outside barefoot, wearing a pink dress and a tan coat. At the time, she appeared to be focused on tending to her flower bed, while spraying from a water hose. But what the tabloid and its readers found notable from the photos was the missing ring on her finger. 

“She fumbled a billionaire? (Or heir to be?) Girl,” one Daily Mail reader commented under a post of the photos. 

A second wrote, “You play around and you get what you get !! I don’t feel sorry for her.”

A few suggested Cabot has already stopped wearing her ring before the night of the Coldplay concert, writing, “Well she wasn’t putting on the ring that day,so it wasn’t the first time….”

Two others said, “She messed up but her husband dodged a bullet” and “I feel bad for her husband and kids.”

Prior to these last couple of weeks, it is likely Cabot lived a quieter and maybe even more private life. That all changed on July 16 when an apparent affair between her and her boss was exposed in front of a full stadium of people. That evening, Cabot was attending a Coldplay concert with the CEO of Astronomer. 

Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin was doing a kiss cam segment and displaying random audience members on the Jumbotron at Gillette Stadium in suburban Boston. After showing a few of the concertgoers, the screen suddenly shows a man standing behind a woman with his arms wrapped around her.

The couple, initially all smiles, reacted after realizing they were on screen, the woman — who was Cabot — hid her face and turned her back to the camera. The man, her boss Andy Byron, ducked out of view.

The crowd reacted and on the mic, Martin said, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.” Unfortunately for the couple, not only were they seen by thousands of people in the venue, but the moment also ended up on the internet from concertgoers who happened to be recording. And the video spread across several social media platforms. 

Since the scandal became viral, an internal investigation started at Astronomer, but before anything could come of it Byron resigned on July 19. Then Cabot resigned from her role on July 24. While Byron has held the CEO position since 2023, Cabot was at Astronomer for only nine months. Both have since deleted their LinkedIn pages. 

That was not the only investigation they endured. The public also did some digging on their backgrounds only to discover that both Byron and Cabot are married.

Byron’s wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, was found pretty early after the incident. People piled on their sympathies in the form of comments under her Facebook page, which eventually led to her deleting her account, but not before she removed the last name “Byron” from her profile. 

Based on some family photos from her Facebook page it looks like she and Byron may share two sons. 

Days later, it was discovered that Cabot is married to Privateer Rum CEO Andrew Cabot. They were seen smiling together in a Facebook photo with their wedding rings standing with two unidentified children.

A Pennsylvania man faces homicide charges after police say he fatally shot his ex-girlfriend in front of their infant son.

Adam Makowka was arrested and charged in connection with the shooting death of 22-year-old Jerkara Battle. Police say Makowka shot Battle on July 22 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, located more than 50 miles away from Philadelphia.

According to court documents cited by Lehigh Valley Live, Makowka was armed with an AR-15 when he climbed a fire escape leading to Battle’s apartment and entered her home by using the unit’s rooftop access.

Police say that Battle, her 3-month-old son, and another man were in a bedroom where Makowka started shooting.

Investigators learned that the man grabbed the barrel of Makowka’s rifle, but Makowka fired all the rounds, according to court records.

Police later found some shell casings on the bedroom floor and Makowka’s sweatshirt and rifle case on the roof.

After the shooting, the 27-year-old fled the home and drove away. Authorities later caught up with him 60 miles away in Delaware County, near Philly.

Investigators say Battle was found dead in a hallway. Autopsy results showed that she suffered several gunshot wounds, including one to her head that killed her. Her death was ruled a homicide by a local coroner.

The baby and the man in Battle’s bedroom were unharmed.

Makowka is now awaiting extradition back to Lehigh County, where the crime took place.

According to WFMZ, Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin Holihan stated there was a custody dispute between the victim and Makowka over the 3-month-old child.

Court documents say that Makowka went to Battle’s apartment with the intention of killing the baby and the man she was with.

One of Battle’s friends has posted multiple videos online calling for justice and first-degree murder charges in the case, alleging that the shooting was premeditated. According to her posts, Battle was emotionally and physically abused by Makowka during their relationship.

When the pair broke up and Battle started dating someone else, Makowka allegedly began stalking her and her new boyfriend.

“I have her dog, I have her cat. What I don’t have is justice. I want him to get first-degree murder. I will not rest until he gets first-degree murder,” Battle’s friend said in her video post after insisting that the shooting was premeditated.

So far, Makowka has been charged with criminal homicide, attempted criminal homicide, and two counts of aggravated assault, according to Allentown police.

The Allentown Police Department, the Lehigh County Homicide Task Force, and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office are conducting the ongoing investigation.

The pair’s reaction became the stuff of internet legend.

Cabot immediately covered her face with her hands while Byron ducked completely out of camera view, prompting Martin to quip to the crowd, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”

What made the situation particularly scandalous was that both Byron and Cabot are both married to other people.

A third individual claimed, “She went on to achieve motherhood which is always what she wanted but you can tell she also still has feelings for John Cena right now.”

The following year in October 2020, Cena and Shariatzadeh got married.

Fast-forward to January 2025, Cena has another run-in with his former flame at WWE’s Royal Rumble. Bella recalled reuniting with the current Undisputed WWE Champion at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for the annual wrestling event. 

She revealed on the “Let’s Be Honest” live podcast in March 2025 that the Royal Rumble reunion with Cena was the first time the two television personalities had seen each other in seven or eight years.

“It was very quick,” Bella said about interacting with Cena backstage at the show. The former partners avoided a hug and just exchanged a handshake while she was speaking with a group of people.

“But the thing was, when he walked away, all the girls were like, ‘Oh my gosh.’ I’m like, ‘Shh, shh, He’s married, be respectful.’ And that was it.” Nikki also described the exchange as “nice” and “great” that produced a “good feeling.”

‘Nikki Had to Beg John to Marry Her’: John Cena Avoids His Ex-Fiancée Nikki Bella at Event with His Current Wife, Years After Denying Bella’s Push for Kids

A Black man in Eugene, Oregon, filed a federal civil rights lawsuit on Tuesday alleging he was racially profiled, assaulted and detained at a county fair by vigilante volunteers with the local sheriff’s civilian “posse” who were armed and dressed like cowboys and suspected he was involved in a shooting the night before.

Keviantae “Kev” Hill, then 20, lived in Portland and was in Eugene visiting two friends on July 22, 2023, when they decided to go to the Lane County Fair. After checking out the horses and large animals, riding the ferris wheel and noshing on fair food, the lawsuit (obtained by Atlanta Black Star) says, the three took a break at his friend’s house nearby for a few hours.

Soon after they reentered the fair, around 9:30 p.m., two men began following Hill in a golf cart, pointing flashlights at him and trying to get his attention by calling out, “hey” and “excuse me,” and saying they needed to talk to him, the complaint says, but not identifying or explaining themselves.

One grabbed his arm, and another placed his hand on a visible gun, prompting Hill to fear for his safety and to run back towards the fair’s main entrance and through the parking lot, jump over a fence and continue fleeing on public streets.

What Hill didn’t know was that a shooting had occurred at the fair the night before, and both the suspect and victim were still at large.

Private security guards at the fair had relayed to members of the Lane County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse, civilian volunteers whose primary role that day was to help with parking cars, that Hill might be their suspect.

The Mounted Posse members, who are deputized and supervised by the county sheriff’s office, wear uniforms reminiscent of cowboy attire, including blue jeans, cowboy hats and boots with spurs, and some carry firearms if they are licensed to do so, the complaint says. Sometimes they ride horses and at other times they drive golf carts. They are not authorized to detain people or to make arrests.

Two Mounted Posse members chased Hill, who has asthma, for several blocks, using a golf cart to try to ram him in a church parking lot, the lawsuit says. As Hill began to have an asthma attack, they tackled him, forced him face-down to the ground, knelt on his back and refused to let him sit up or change his position to breathe better for several minutes, despite the fact that he was gasping for air and saying he could not breathe.

Hill vomited red fluid and begged the men to let him call someone, but they refused, the lawsuit says, and did not call 911, call for backup, or seek medical assistance. One of the men, defendant Steve Egeret, finally took his knee off Hill’s back when witnesses including the mother of Hill’s friend arrived and “demanded they stop the assault” while another began to video the incident with a phone.

The lawsuit says the posse members contacted the Eugene Police Department during the incident and were told that Hill was not a suspect in the fair-related shooting and that police had no interest in detaining him. But the men persisted in restraining him, and photographed Hill without his consent and without providing any explanation for doing so.

Then they let him get up, and on the advice of defendant Levi McKenney, a sergeant with the Lane County Sheriff’s Office who supervised the posse (and had set off the pursuit of Hill that night), informed Hill that he was trespassed from the fairgrounds.

Hill, who was “visibly shaking” at that point, lost consciousness shortly after being released, the complaint says, and continued to vomit and spit up blood two hours after the incident.

Later McKenny said that Hill had caught his attention because he was wearing “sweat style pants” and a “hooded sweatshirt,” the complaint says. Another defendant and posse member, Byron Trapp, a former Lane County sheriff, said he became suspicious of Hill because of the unusual way he walked, which seemed to indicate he had a gun in his waist band.

Hill did not have any weapons and had no criminal history, the lawsuit says. A police report filed three days after the incident said Hill had no weapons when stopped, reported Oregonlive.com.

Trapp also reported that the prior day’s shooting involved “several late teen/young adults of Black and white races,” which the complaint notes was “a vague description that could have applied to the many thousands of other fair goers that day.”

County dispatch records and police reports identified the suspect as a white man wearing a red hat, Oregonlive reported, noting that “the only possible connection was that the shooting suspect was associated with a car seen carrying two other white men and a Black man.”

The lawsuit accuses the Lane County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse, the Lane County Fair Board, the county, the private security firm Iron Shield, and four individual members of the posse of false arrest, excessive use of force, assault and battery, negligence, and violations of the state’s bias crime law by subjecting Hill to unlawful treatment because he was a Black man.

It says that the defendants collectively committed “a violent, racially motivated assault on a young Black man by armed civilians in cowboy costumes” who were “carrying pistols, and acting with police-like power but without police training, accountability or oversight.”

Noting that Hill was unarmed, posed no threat, was not resisting, and was not suspected of any crime, the lawsuit says the tackling, pinning and detention of Hill while he was in medical distress constituted excessive force in violation of the Fourth and 14th Amendments and caused him physical injury, fear and trauma, emotional distress and psychological harm.

The civilian posse members were not authorized to pursue Hill outside of the fairgrounds or to detain him, the complaint contends, and their racial profiling and physical abuse of him, and failure to deescalate their use of force, especially after learning he was not a valid suspect, was the inevitable outcome of county and state fair officials’ poor decision to put “untrained, unqualified, armed volunteers in charge of public security.”

The Lane County District Attorney declined to pursue any charges in the case, but the FBI opened an investigation into potential criminal civil rights violations, the lawsuit says. The FBI declined to say whether its investigation is ongoing or has been completed, reported Oregonlive.

The city of Eugene conducted a review of the incident and issued a memorandum documenting its concerns, including: the failure of sworn officers on scene to activate or wear body cameras; the fact that Hill did not match the description of the shooting suspect;  that fairground staff continued their pursuit and detention of him despite being told he was not the right person; and that the Mounted Posse members, while civilian volunteers, were armed and acting in a law enforcement capacity without appropriate oversight.

The lawsuit includes exposition on the history of the posse comitatus legal doctrine and movement in Oregon, dating back to 1887, which empowers sheriffs to summon citizens to enforce the law. It argues that law enforcement-affiliated groups have been tied to the Ku Klux Klan, racist militia movements and “broader vigilantism” in the region, and cautions that “the legacy and structure of the Lane County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse … reflect the dangers of arming and deputizing civilians to operate in public-facing, quasi-policing roles without clear limitations.”

In a statement issued after the lawsuit was filed, the Eugene-Springfield Branch of the NAACP said the unjustified targeting and treatment of Hill “not only suggest a dangerous disregard for public safety and civil rights but also conjure the painful imagery of this country’s racial past — armed posses on horseback pursuing Black bodies, invoking echoes of slave patrols and racial terror.”

“This incident is not just about one individual,” Drae Charles, the NAACP branch executive director, posted on Facebook.  “It’s about the systems that allow this kind of racial profiling and abuse to happen in our own backyard — and the collective responsibility we share to confront them.”

Hill seeks a jury trial to determine general and compensatory damages for his physical injuries, pain and suffering, trauma and humiliation; special damages for lost wages and out-of-pocket expenses; economic damages for past and future medical care and mental health treatment; and punitive damages against each individual defendant.

Officials with Lane County and the Lane County Sheriff’s Office told reporters they could not comment on pending litigation.

All of the defendants have 21 days from the date they were served with the complaint to file a response in the U.S. District Court of Oregon in Eugene.

Ciara has reached over one million views on her latest Instagram post as she leaned into a new dance challenge going viral online.

The singer and mom of four made sure to join in on the viral moment, flexing her balancing skills in the process. The challenge is to maintain a low squat on one leg as the other leg is crossed over the thigh of the one holding all the weight.

The pose originally came from New York rapper Nicki Minaj, who did it 12 years ago in the music video for her 2013 song “High School.”

But Ciara, along with other creatives, is taking the challenge to new heights with her July 21 remake of it on Instagram.

With “High School” song playing on the video, the “Level Up” singer is seen doing the squatted pose outside on top of not one but two stacked weights. It’s not clear where she is exactly outside, but it appears to be in front of a field with palm trees in the background.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Ciara took on the challenge while wearing Louboutin stilettos and holding a bottle of the Ten To One, the rum brand she’s been an investor in since October 2021.

Along with the heels, she wore an all-black look that included leggings, a T-shirt, a hat, sunglasses, and a blond wig.

Her fans and followers seemed to believe the pose in her video was impressive, as she received over 1.1 million likes on Instagram and over 28,000 likes on Facebook.

Under the post, one person said, “I would have broke the stand, the heels, and the bottle of liquor. Get it Ciara.”

“My back hurts just looking at this! Plus, I fell twice just thinking about this,” another reader jokingly confessed.

Zooming in on her body, two others said, “Those Strong legs have done it again” and “This lady back and knees strong …”

Amid the jokes, many don’t believe she pulled off the stunt all by herself. “Husband got you up there didn’t he lol,” wrote one person, bringing up her husband of nine years, Russell Wilson.

Another said, “I was gonna say Russell come get your wife but I just know he’s behind the camera!!”

“Russell finna get her right on preggooo [pregnant] sitting there looking like the Queen she is…,” noted a fifth person.

A few fans made remarks about Ciara’s dance challenge stemming from the visual to her song “Ecstacy,” which dropped back in April. In the video, the 39-year-old showed off her own balancing act that caught the attention of many viewers with her sultry dance moves on a chair.

To correspond with the seductive nature of the song, at some point, she even balances her body horizontally on the chair using the top of her thighs to sit on top of the back of it. For extra support, she places her front hands on the edge of the actual seat while kicking her legs in a slow swimming motion. 

The challenge went so viral that it seemed like everyone online — including celebrities and influencers — tried to imitate Ciara’s moves. Just last week, she attempted to teach the folding chair challenge to talk show host Jenna Bush Hager on “Today With Jenna & Friends.”

French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, have filed a defamation lawsuit against Candace Owens, who frequently claims the first lady of France was born a man.

The lawsuit, which spans 219 pages, brings 22 counts of defamation, false light, and defamation by implication, accusing the right-wing podcaster of smearing the couple with “outlandish, defamatory, and far-fetched fictions.”

The suit highlights several of Owens’ alleged theories, including that the couple is secretly “blood relatives,” “believe in Baphomet,” and “worship a transgender deity that controls the world.” 

The defamation case was filed in Delaware, and the couple is seeking a jury trial and punitive damages, although the amount was not specified.

For many observers online, this marks a moment of reckoning for Owens that has been a long time coming.

“Good. Freedom of speech & freedom of press don’t give you free rein to knowingly spread pure misinformation to millions,” wrote marketing strategist John Bourscheid on X.

“This has been beyond absurd. Michelle Obama should do the same,” another person wrote. “I hope they take every last penny. That’s the only way these people know how to shut their mouths and stop lying,” one user wrote.

Even MAGA supporters are chiming in. “Reap what you sow,” wrote one user.

Indeed, Brigitte Macron recently lost her libel case against two women in France, Amandine Roy and Natacha Rey, over the same gender-swap conspiracy theory about the 72-year-old mother of three.

According to the suit against Owens, the Macrons say the conservative pundit has caused them “tremendous damage” and subjected them to “a campaign of global humiliation, turning their lives into fodder for profit-driven lies.”

The complaint continued: “The result is relentless bullying on a worldwide scale. Every time the Macrons leave their home, they do so knowing that countless people have heard, and many believe, these vile fabrications. It is invasive, dehumanizing, and deeply unjust.”

Undeterred, Owens dropped a YouTube video just hours after the lawsuit was announced on July 23 to reiterate her stance — and remind viewers to watch her multi-part series, “Becoming Brigitte.”

“This is a couple that is involved in way too many pedophilic scandals,” she asserted before saying the lawsuit is “a pretty steep mountain to scale.” She quoted a Financial Times article: “The suit is a rare case of a serving world leader suing an online influencer over their content. The Macrons face a high legal bar, since U.S. defamation laws require public figures to show ‘actual malice,’ meaning that the person knew the information was false.”

“It’s a PR strategy. They don’t care if they win,” exclaimed Owens, who said the lawsuit was made public and released to news agencies before she was even served. “I found out with all of you. I found out with the world that I was being sued by the first couple of France.”

However, RadarOnline reported way back in January that the Macrons sent her a letter threatening legal action, and at the time, Owens “laughed it off.”

An incompetent Kentucky cop with an arrogant attitude and a malicious demeanor has been sued twice in less than a month for abusing his authority by arresting drivers over minor traffic infractions when they dared exercise their constitutional rights to either remain silent or record police activity in public.

In the latest lawsuit filed last week, Kentucky state trooper Myron Jackson pulled a pizza deliveryman over for failing to use his turn signal when pulling into the parking lot of the Papa John’s in Frankfort while working on May 1, 2024.

Jackson then accused the driver, Nicholas Ngeh, of having “an attitude” when he exercised his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent during the traffic stop, refusing to answer questions that were not relevant to the traffic stop.

But Trooper Jackson then displayed his attitude and incompetence by pulling Ngeh out of the car when it wasn’t even in park, allowing the car to continue rolling without a driver in the seat, creating a dangerous situation for anybody in its path.

Jackson then chased after the car and hopped into the driver’s seat to apply the brakes, later telling another cop that he was aware the car was not in park, which made him believe the driver would drive off.

“I knew it wasn’t in park but I really didn’t think it through,” he said, acknowledging his incompetency and lack of awareness.

Ngeh was arrested on a charge of obstructing governmental operations, which was dismissed on July 18, 2024.

The lawsuit, filed in federal court on July 17 by the Johnson Branco & Brennan law firm in Kentucky, accuses Trooper Jackson of malicious prosecution by violating his First and Fourth Amendment rights.

According to the claim:

Trooper Jackson charged Nicholas with violating KRS 519.020 Obstructing Governmental Operations. 

Trooper Jackson then transported Nicholas to the Franklin County Regional Jail where he was incarcerated until he was administratively released the next day. 

Nicholas walked miles back to his vehicle to get home. 

When Trooper Jackson began writing the citation he wrote about concerns of intoxication. 

However, Trooper Jackson did not conduct any field sobriety tests nor conduct a preliminary breath test on Nicholas. 

Trooper Jackson did not have any suspicion of impaired driving and only wrote it as a pretext to justify the order to get of the car. Trooper Jackson knew that the arrest for Obstructing governmental operations lacked probable cause.

Despite this, Trooper Jackson did not inform the prosecuting authority, or anyone else, that the arrest lacked probable cause. 

Previous Lawsuit

The same Kentucky law firm filed another federal lawsuit against Jackson and another trooper named Jason Briscoe on June 25 on behalf of a woman named Christen Johnson who was arrested for recording from her front porch.

That incident took place on July 31, 2024, when Jackson pulled over Johnson’s mother, Christina Calvert, for an expired tag when the tag had not expired, making it an “illegal traffic stop,” according to the claim.

Calvert’s tag showed that it expired in July 2024, which means it had not expired even though it was the last day of the month.

Jackson claimed “an internal system alerting its officers statewide that registration tags are expired on the last day of each month when they are not actually expired,” the claim states.

Jackson had pulled Calvert over after she pulled into the driveway of her daughter’s house, prompting Johnson to step outside to inquire why her mother was being pulled over.

Jackson ordered her back inside the house under the threat of arrest.

Johnson walked back inside and stepped back outside with her phone and started recording from her front porch, about 25 feet from Jackson and her mother who was still sitting in her car.

“Go inside of the house or I will take you from your kids and take you to jail,” Jackson threatened the daughter.

But Johnson asserted her right to record police activity in public, prompting Jackson to handcuff her and drag her to his patrol car, where he arrested her on charges of obstructing governmental operations and resisting arrest, which were later dismissed.

Her mother, meanwhile, called 911 and spoke to Kentucky State Police Sgt. Jason Briscoe, who viewed the body camera footage and told the mother the arrest was valid, when it clearly was an unlawful arrest, considering numerous courts have affirmed citizens have the right to record police in public as long as they are not physically interfering.

According to the claim:

Because of Christen’s assertion of her Constitutional rights, Trooper Jackson grabbed Ms. Johnson’s wrists, forced her hands behind her back, and placed her in handcuffs. 

As he escorted Christen in handcuffs toward his cruiser, Trooper Jackson yanked her arm. 

Christen was barefoot and being dragged over gravel, so when Trooper Jackson yanked her arm she fell onto gravel and Trooper Jackson dragged her body toward his cruiser. 

Christen suffered scrapes and bruises when Trooper Jackson dragged her handcuffed body through the gravel. 

Trooper Jackson pushed Christen on her hands and knees into the back of his patrol vehicle. 

Trooper Jackson did not seatbelt Christen in his cruiser. 

Trooper Jackson then departed the scene with Christen crying and pleading about needing to be with her kids. 

Trooper Jackson did not issue a written citation or warning to Ms. Calvert about her tags. 

The lawsuit accuses both troopers of various offenses, including violating her First and Fourth Amendment rights, battery, malicious prosecution, false arrest, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Jackson, who graduated from high school in 2019, was hired by the Kentucky State Police in 2023. The leadership at Kentucky State Police, specifically Commissioner Phillip “PJ” Burnett Jr., who heads the entire department, was sued in 2014 for the same type of behavior.

It seems to be part of the department’s culture, considering another Kentucky state trooper was sued last month for tasering a man while ordering him to get on the ground, while the man was already on the ground.

Trooper James Cameron Wright was already facing federal charges for another unrelated incident when the lawsuit was filed on June 16.

Lauren Sánchez is keeping it sexy and casual for her return to Europe.

The former journalist and her new husband, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, were spotted having some fun in the sun, on the same continent where they exchanged their vows.

She and Bezos are reportedly continuing their European honeymoon and were spotted in Saint Tropez at Club 55. Photographers captured the couple leaving the exclusive French restaurant and boarding their boat on July 22. While they seemed to come dressed in style,  fans were once again not too pleased with Sánchez’s looks.

She was wearing a black Cami top and a black boho-like maxi-skirt. To combat the sun, Sánchez also sported a black oversized wide-brimmed beach hat and a pair of black shades. Bezos sported navy blue slacks and a white dress up shirt. The two walked hand in hand smiling and waving at photographers before boarding the boat to head to their next destination. 

While her outfit was form-fitting, it was toned down from her usual seductive attire. But fans and critics couldn’t help but make comments about her overall look from head to toe.

“She didn’t leave much to the imagination,” wrote one person in Wonderwall’s comment section.

On RadarOnline, many noticed she didn’t have on any undergarments, which sparked comments like, “She can key a car with those headlights,” and “She left her brights on. Gross.”

Sánchez’s appearance stood out for other reasons as well after people zoomed in on her face. She has never confirmed that she had lip fillers but the progression in the size of her lips over the years has fans convinced that she’s had the procedure done.

“Yikes, her lips are so full they could almost overshadow her hat!” said one person, while another wrote, “What’s with the pouty lips?”

Some fans pointed out the appearance of her arms, with one commenter saying, “She’s not going to like those wrinkles,” and another adding, “Her arms look a little saggy.”

But Sánchez continues to exude her alluring confidence despite all of the constant jokes and comments about her appearance.

Since tying the knot to her billionaire beau on June 27 in Venice, Sánchez and Bezos have spent a lot of time overseas. Following their estimated $50 million star-studded wedding, the newlyweds spent the early days of their honeymoon at a Four Seasons resort called San Domenico Palace, located in Taormina, Sicily. The resort is also known for being the setting in the second season of the HBO series, “The White Lotus.”

Days later, Sánchez was seen partying in Paris with model sisters Brooks and Sarah Jane Nader. Then, shortly after that, they were back in the United States just in time for the Allen & Co. Sun Valley Conference — a few day’s worth of events dubbed a “summer camp for billionaires.” The conference took place in Sun Valley, Idaho.

Now it seems that the newlyweds are finishing up their summer back in Europe. In fact, prior to being spotted in Saint Tropez, Sánchez and Bezos were in Cannes, France.

In a viral clip, they were dining at a French restaurant called La Guerite when Sánchez got up on her feet, jamming out to Kendrick Lamar’s “They Not Like Us” diss track about rapper Drake. Bezos, grinned ear to ear, while recording his new wife as she danced.

The Drake-diss record had several members at the restaurant moving along to the beat, including NBA star LeBron James and his wife, Savannah James, who were spotted at the same restaurant rapping and dancing along to the lyrics. 

It’s not clear when Bezos and Sánchez’s trip will come to a close, but it seems the two are enjoying the early stages of their marriage for now.
