‘Could’ve Told You He Didn’t Like Black Girls’: ‘Love Island’ Cast Exposes JaNa Craig’s Ex-Boyfriend Kenny Following Explosive Claims After Breakup

Wed, 07/30/2025 - 15:02

Love Island” season 6 stars JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez are going viral after details of their breakup surfaced on the internet.

The two, who met and began dating on the show last year, confirmed their split in separate social media posts on Tuesday, July 29. Based on the tone of Craig’s message, some believe their split was “messy,” which adds to recent allegations of Rodriguez sending discriminatory messages.

Fans of the Netflix reality show noticed over the weekend that not even 24 hours after attending podcaster David Dobrik’s party together, Rodriguez’s existence was scrubbed from Craig’s Instagram page. Social media was in shambles with fans trying to crack the code on the breakup, but, according to Craig, their theories are nowhere close to the truth.

“Please know that I have seen all the breakup theories and none have matched up to how terrible, disgusting and disappointing it truly is,” Craig stated on her Instagram story earlier Tuesday, confirming the breakup rumors and thanking her fans for their support.

She added, “Discovering that someone you loved isn’t who you thought they were and that the relationship you thought you were building hasn’t been genuine since day one has been truly devastating.”

Minutes afterward, Rodriguez shared some words on his Story expressing how difficult his latest days have been.

“Breakups are never easy, especially in the public eye,” he said. “Sometimes, despite how deeply you care for someone, you come to the hard truth that the relationship was not something that could last long-term.”

He ended the statement showing gratitude to JaNa for the time they spent together and said he wished her “nothing but happiness.”

Craig then responded with another post, this time addressing Rodriguez directly. She said, “Stfu you manipulative liar. You not taking accountability and telling people the type of person you really are is insane to me!! My first statement was me being nice. Do not piss me off.”

Only two people have given even hints about what has truly happened between them. Craig’s best friend, Charmane Smith, shared a statement online, advising women to search the messages in their man’s phone.

In a since-deleted post, she said, “Search keywords like ‘I don’t like black women, I thought I could get more money from this, I’m faking this relationship, going on the show would be for clout, I can’t wait to be done [with] this so I can f*** hella b****es.'”

Their “Love Island” co-star Leah Kateb, who grew close to Craig on the show and formed a trio with their season’s winner Serena Page, also took digs at Rodriguez on Instagram in a statement that Craig reposted on her Instagram story.

Kateb wrote, “Put a sock in it ChatGPT heada-s. Tell the truth for once! Racist, clout/money hungry and a scammer since DAY 1!!!! Tryna make it seem like it’s something it’s not. Dw [Don’t worry], our Nay is blessed & highly favored.”

She returned to comment on Rodriguez’s most recent post, which happens to be a skit with him and Kateb’s boyfriend, Miguel Harichi. Rodriguez’s caption reads, “Planning our next group trip” on the four-day-old video.

She suggested he delete it in a comment that later vanished, and then accused him of deleting her comments altogether.

A friend of Love Island USA’s JaNa informs women to search their man’s phone:

TMZ officially announced Craig and Rodriguez’s split after she deleted her pictures of him. Initially, fans suspected that Rodriguez may have cheated. However, after Harichi and Page’s boyfriend, Kordell Beckham, unfollowed Rodriguez online, they speculated that his actions had to have been much more unforgivable.

Page, one of the winners of that season, wrote, “Let’s all remember this is not a show and someone’s actual feelings. It may just be the tea for y’all but that’s not the case for us. Y’all already know how I’m coming behind JaNa and TRUST so does he.”

Fans responded to the news on The Shade Room with more theories.

One person leaned on Hateb’s hint that Rodriguez did something racially charged. They wrote, “Oh she definitely found some texts with the hard er in it.”

Another person said, “I could’ve told you he didn’t like black girls from a mile away JaNa.”

A third commented, “I mean wtf y’all thought. He followed TRUMP since day 1 DUH. Never seen a genuine connection. I love Jana but she was so thirsty for anyone to love her so Kenny capitalized on that. End of story unfortunately.”

Last year, fans of the show noticed Rodriguez had followed the controversial President Donald Trump on social media, which caused an uproar from fans.

But he clarified that he is “definitely not a Trump supporter.” He said he only follows him to be “informed” about what is going on in the world, and that he has a “degree in international studies.”

All three couples grew close in the villa and were the season’s last three couples, with Page and Beckham as winners, Kateb and Harichi coming in second and Craig and Rodriguez coming in third. After leaving the show, each couple remained partnered up.

The six of them and three other members from season 6 appear in Peacock’s “Love Island” spinoff series “Beyond the Villa.” The next episode is scheduled to air on Thursday, July 31.

‘Did Not See the Left Hooks Coming!’: White Man Dares Black Amazon Driver to Fight Then Gets Two-for-One Package, Video Shows

Wed, 07/30/2025 - 12:00

A driver on a country lane rampaged against a Black Amazon worker driving a delivery truck in what appears to be a road rage incident gone haywire.

Video footage shot by an onlooker captured a heated argument between two unidentified men, which escalated quickly when the white man threw the first punch, knocking the Amazon worker to the ground. But the man who was attacked had a secret weapon: his delivery assistant, who suddenly emerged from the truck and joined the fight.

“I did not see the left hooks coming from the helper,” wrote one surprised viewer on TikTok. “Give that helper a raise.”

A video screenshot shows a fight between Amazon workers and angry driver. (TikTok/Trevor.Pene)

The dramatic dispute seemingly began after the local resident blocked the Black driver with his vehicle and approached, yelling, “Get out of the truck. Come on… I dare you to get out the f**king truck! I came here to tell you to f**king slow down!”

@trevor.pene #talkshitgethit #amazon ♬ original sound – Trevor pene

According to the video, the street appeared too narrow for both trucks to pass each other, and some TikTok users speculated in the comments section that they might have “played chicken” to see who passed first. Others speculated that the resident’s children were playing in his nearby front yard, and the truck was driving too fast, though nothing has been confirmed. The poster of the video, Trevor Pene, did not include the backstory to the confrontation.

After telling the Amazon driver to “be a man,” the foul-mouthed resident threatened to report him to his workplace.

“Get out of the f**king car. I’m calling your job. I’m calling,” he screamed. The driver had his door shut at this point, but upon hearing the threat, he re-engaged in the argument, yelling “I don’t give a motherf**k,” telling the man “your mama’s a b**ch” and to “move your ass.”

Within seconds, the white man was in the Amazon worker’s face and began swinging wildly, as he straddled him on the ground and punched away. Enter the Amazon driver’s assistant, who no one saw coming.

“The second guy’s left-hand jabs hit like my grandma’s whoopins: sporadic, sharp, and full of flashbacks,” said a commenter on Instagram.

Another joked on TikTok, “Dude thought it was just Amazon, didn’t know it was Prime,” followed by, “Not one person on here complaining about their Amazon packages being late.” The video also sparked several racist comments, including references to Waffle House and gibes such as “they can’t never fight one-on-one.”

When asked why the video cut off so abruptly, the poster, Trevor Pene, responded sarcastically in the comments, “Let him get jumped?.. sounds legit,” implying that he dropped the phone and joined the fight — but no follow-up on the incident has been posted.

For now, viewers are dismayed over yet another Black delivery person getting harassed or assaulted at work: “Everyday they are messing with people smh, why can’t the man just do his job.”

‘Trump Made It Acceptable’: Karoline Leavitt Slammed Over $300,000 Debt from Failed Congressional Bid As Debtors Hunt Down Her Campaign

Wed, 07/30/2025 - 10:00

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is dodging creditors as her failed 2022 congressional campaign comes back to haunt her.

Leavitt’s congressional campaign committee hasn’t repaid a penny of the $326,370.50 it owes to creditors and donors, according to a new disclosure filed with the Federal Election Commission.

Her committee did not take in any money this spring and hasn’t made any payments on the huge debt, a majority of which was raised through illegal campaign contributions that surpassed federal limits, according to the website OpenSecrets.

The MAGA Republican ran for office at 23 in New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District, just a few years after graduating from college, but lost that election amid a crowded field of more veteran politicians.

Her campaign reported last month that it didn’t have any money and had spent the funds a long time ago.

Some of those owed a refund include New Hampshire Gov. Craig Benson and late New Hampshire Senate Majority Leader Robert Clegg Jr. Her committee also owes thousands of dollars to a number of companies that worked for her during her election bid, including the polling firm Remington Research Group, consultant Axiom Strategies and the fundraising company Fundraising Inc.

Some donors did receive a repayment before the money ran out, among them Leavitt’s parents, NOTUS.org reported in April.

The FEC is auditing Leavitt’s campaign, which amended all of its 17 earlier campaign finance reports to explain the illegal financial discrepancies, NOTUS previously reported.

For her part, Leavitt says she doesn’t owe anyone any money, a source close to her told Open Secrets. They said she’s “working with the FEC through the audit, and that process is ongoing, hence the outstanding ‘debt.’”

“Cases like this send a clear message: If you break campaign finance laws, nothing will happen to you,” End Citizens United President Tiffany Muller told OpenSecrets. “It’s open season for corrupt leaders who want to game the system and get away with it.”

Social media had a field day. “Trump will pardon her if she’s thrown in jail,” an X user jeered.

“I thought her ‘sugar daddy husband’ was Rich,” another posted.

X user Josh said, “Trump made it acceptable to stiff your creditors so she fit right in lol.”

Leavitt’s debt problem also made social media waves in April as the Trump administration cracked down on student loan borrowers and repayment options.

Here’s a social media post that puts the situation in perspective. “KKKaroline Leavitt threatening people over unpaid student loans when she allegedly owes nearly $325,000 in unpaid debts.”

“Leavitt’s hypocrisy is glaring, owes $325k in campaign debts but pushes student loan crackdowns. Pay your own bills first, Karoline, before going after struggling borrowers. What a sham,” X user Richard Angwin wrote.

Of course, plenty of MAGA voters defended her.

“She actually doesn’t make any decisions. And hopefully she is paying back what she owes just like I’m doing with my student loan. Saying that others should pay theirs back while I’m also paying mine back is not being hypocritical,” this X user insisted.

“Show us where she was asking others to pay for her debt,” another X user said in Leavitt’s defense.

‘I Was Going to Shoot Him’: Surveillance Video Captures White Man Ambushing Black Jogger, Calling Him ‘Boy’ — Judge Responds with Massive $1M Cash Bond

Tue, 07/29/2025 - 21:12

A South Carolina man seen on surveillance video shooting at a Black jogger with a rifle while shouting a racially charged statement was charged with a hate crime and jailed on a $1 million bond.

Jonathan Felkel was charged with hate intimidation, assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Police say the incident took place at 6 a.m. on July 17 in Richland County, according to reports from WRDW and WLTX.

Surveillance footage shows Felkel seated in a car parked in front of a gated community when he grabs a rifle from the passenger’s seat, then fires one shot at a Black jogger passing by him.

He then puts his car in drive, pulls forward into the gated area, and shouts, “Keep running, boy,” to the victim.

The victim was not physically harmed.

After Felkel was arrested, he was interviewed by detectives and told them he saw a Black man in a white shirt earlier that morning and said “he was by himself, so I was really going to do something at first and then.”

When an investigator asked him to clarify the statement, Felkel replied, “I was going to shoot at him. I was. I was going to shoot at him.”

Authorities learned that Felkel and the victim live in the same neighborhood but do not know each other.

Felkel is the first man to be charged with hate intimidation under Richland County’s new hate crime ordinance that officials passed in June.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department stated that Felkel intended to instill fear in the victim due to his race. That, combined with other factors, led to his hate crime charge.

South Carolina is one of only a handful of states that doesn’t have a state hate crime law, leaving it up to cities and local counties to pass and enact their own racial intimidation statutes.

The violent incident involving Felkel has triggered calls for the state to adopt one.

“That man just felt like he could do that, and there was nothing that he felt like that was stopping him from doing that,” one Richland County resident said. “So I feel like we do need a law or at least more knowledge of this ordinance.”

“It makes me feel uneasy being in this neighborhood,” one neighbor said. “It’s very unfortunate. The fact that things like this are still happening in this day and age makes me kind of feel unsafe, especially having young ones growing up around here.”

Richland County is the first county in South Carolina to pass a hate crime ordinance. The law makes the offense a misdemeanor that is punishable by a $500 fine or up to 30 days in jail.

A judge set a $1 million cash bond for Felkel’s assault charge, and a $1,075 bond for the hate intimidation charge, which is the maximum allowed.

Felkel reportedly declined his right to a public defender. If he makes bond, he’ll be under house arrest. His next court date is in September.

‘Tell Me That Ain’t Dirty!’: Internet Erupts Over Deion Sanders and Karrueche Tran Dating Buzz But It’s Her Connection to His Ex-Fiancée Tracey Edmonds That Has Everyone Talking

Tue, 07/29/2025 - 19:44

Deion Sanders is on the mend after revealing his private battle with bladder cancer. Confirmation of his health challenges comes months after supporters noticed his significant weight loss and that he had stepped back from the spotlight.

The Colorado Buffaloes head coach, 57, was diagnosed in April, and in May the organ was removed. Details about his journey were first shared in a press conference on July 28. That same day, his son, Deion Sanders Jr, uploaded the first episode of a multi-part video series chronicling his father’s procedure and recovery.

Photographed: Tracey Edmonds via Traceyeedmonds/Instagram, Deion Sanders via Deionsandersjr/Instagram, and Karrueche Tran via Karrueche/Instagram.

Spotted in several moments of the footage is “The Chi” star Karrueche Tran. Tran, 37, is known for being a model and Emmy-winning actress and previously dating Chris Brown and former New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz.

Tran, rocking a short haircut, is observed shedding tears as she sat by Deion Sr.’s hospital bed before surgery, holding his hand as he was wheeled down a hallway, as well as talking to Deion Jr., who recorded the in-depth footage about the retired NFL great’s diagnosis and the outcome of his procedure.

Her closeness to the NFL legend was a shock to fans. “What they got going on?” asked an X user. Dating rumors first surfaced in February after the duo ignited speculation of a romance after they were spotted holding hands in Los Angeles.

Former NFL star Anthony Brown chimed in writing, “Karrueche… baby. This man don’t have a bladder or toes. What are you doing?”

A third tweet stated, “Deion is dirty. Deion met Karrueche Tran at a function Tracey Edmunds threw. So he basically starts a friendship with Karrueche behind Tracey Edmunds’ back, then breaks up with Tracey Edmunds when he wants rice patties, instead of eggs and bacon! Now tell me that aint dirty!”

A fourth person tweeted, “Wait! Where is Tracey Edmonds?! I was scratching my brain because I knew that he had some lady at JSU. Deion just be taking these women to the most random places because what is Karrueche doing in Boulder, CO.”

Prime Time and Tracey Edmonds, 57, announced their breakup in December 2023. They dated for 11 years, four of which were spent engaged. The businesswoman was previously married to singer Babyface, with whom she shares two sons.

Deion Sr. shares Deion Jr. and daughter Deiondra with ex-wife Carolyn Chambers and children Shiloh, Shedeur, and Shelomi with ex-wife Pilar Sanders.

Before purportedly connecting with Deion Sr., Tran was rumored to have briefly dated rapper Quavo and UK soccer player Jadon Sancho. She also has ties to Edmonds, having appeared in nine episodes of the producer’s BET series “Games People Play” in 2021.

Tran portrayed the role of Eden Lazlo, the LA Vipers owner’s daughter and newly named VP of basketball operations, who further complicates the love life of married basketball player Marques, played by Sarunas Jackson.

Amid the online banter, Edmonds shared on Instagram, “Sometimes to find peace, we must be brave enough to let go of whatever is blocking it.”

Some followers assumed the post was about her ex. “Tracey said, I’m unbothered and beautiful,” read one comment. Another reaction stated, “The timing is impeccable.”

It is unclear when the actress connected with the Super Bowl champion, as neither Tran nor the Pro Football Hall of Fame former cornerback has commented on the nature of their relationship.

‘Please, God, Help!’: Bodycam Shows Deputy Break Into Home Over Speeding Stop, Shoot an Unarmed Man on the Couch and Set His K‑9 on a 72‑Year‑Old — Now Families Are Suing

Tue, 07/29/2025 - 17:41

It was over a speeding violation that a South Carolina deputy busted into a man’s home with his unleashed K9 last year, shooting an unarmed man while allowing his dog to maul an elderly man who had nothing to do with the traffic infraction.

But Florence County sheriff’s deputy Treyvon Sellers remained employed for another three months until he was arrested for an unrelated domestic violence incident in a neighboring county where he was beating his wife in public and berating witnesses – which is what led to his termination. It was his second domestic violence arrest in two years.

Three weeks later, he was charged with manslaughter, assault and battery and official misconduct over the incident that left one Black man dead and another Black man mauled by his police dog.

Earlier this month, two lawsuits were filed against the Florence County Sheriff’s Office over that incident, including one lawsuit from the elderly man who was left with permanent injuries and the other from the brother of the man killed by Sellers.

The incident was caught on video and shows Sellers entering the home without a warrant while barking contradictory orders to William Rankin, 43, the man he had been pursuing for speeding.

“Get on the f**king ground!” he yelled at Rankin who was lying on a couch, trying to hide beneath a cushion.

Then when it appears that Rankin was trying to comply with his orders, Sellers says, “If you move, I’ll f**king shoot you.”

Sellers then fired twice, striking Rankin in the chest, followed by another three shots after Rankin had turned his body around.

Meanwhile, the police dog, a Belgian Malinois named Ikar continued to maul Johnny Hood, the 72-year-old man who owned the home he shared with Rankin.

“Please, God, help,” Cooper repeatedly begged. “I didn’t do nothing,”

“One dog bite and one shots fired,” Sellers told the dispatcher, holding the dog by the collar.

History of Violence

The incident took place on May 26, 2024, after Sellers said he spotted Rankin speeding even though he did not use a radar detector to determine his speed, the claim states.

Sellers pursued him for several miles until Rankin pulled onto a property, running into a tree and jumping out the car to run into the home.

Dash cam video shows Sellers pulling onto the property and running after him, using a remote control device to unlock the back door to his patrol car, releasing the dog.

Sellers then opened the door to the home which was unlocked, allowing the dog to run inside, where he began attacking Cooper, who had been doing nothing more than minding his own business inside his own home.

Sellers follows Ikur into the home, spotting Rankin on the couch partially hidden under a cushion where he barked his contradictory orders before shooting him five times. Rankin was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

According to the lawsuit filed by Cooper:

Sellers’ below listed actions and conduct throughout this incident were completely unnecessary, unjustified and outside of generally accepted police practice:

  • initiating a initial traffic stop without reasonable cause or justification;
  • recklessly and catastrophically deciding to enter Plaintiff’s home without supervisory direction or consent, without a warrant despite their being no exigent circumstances;
  • sending an aggressive K9 with a known history of attacking citizens into Plaintiff’s home with an attack command without having issued any warning and without having any idea who was in the home;
  • failing to disengage the deadly K9 after observing that Plaintiff was an elderly and sickly gentleman that posed no threat whatsoever;
  • utilizing deadly force upon an unarmed William Rankin;
  • utilizing deadly K9 force upon unknown occupants in the home;
  • failing to utilize K9 commands for which the K9 was trained to respond;
  • after K9, Ikar, was pulled from Plaintiff, in further assaulting Plaintiff by keeping the K9 in close proximity to Plaintiff who lied in the floor with substantial injuries;

The lawsuit filed by Rankin’s brother states the following:

Sellers was previously employed as an officer by the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office.

While employed with the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office,

Sellers was arrested for Domestic Violence. Upon information and belief, he was terminated from his employment as a sworn officer because of the arrest.

Less than one year later, Sellers was hired by Defendant FCSO.

That this hire was made by Defendant FCSO with little to no comprehensive review or background check performed.

That the hiring of Sellers, despite his recent history of arrest for Domestic Violence, created a foreseeable risk of further harm, including the potential use of unreasonable force. By hiring Sellers, Defendant FCSO exposed the public and its officers to unnecessary risks.

Department Turned a Blind Eye

Although Florence County Sheriff acted as if was not aware of the previous arrest, his “training history report” from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy states that he resigned from the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office on February 23, 2022.

It also answers “yes” to the questions as to whether there is a pending criminal investigation and pending criminal charges against the officer on page 18 of the 19-page report.

A simple Google search of his name would have brought up his mugshot over that arrest.

However, it appears he was cleared and those charges expunged, because they do not appear on the Darlington County online court website.

And the training history report states he worked for the Darlington Police Department from April to July 2022 before rejoining the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office for another two months before he was hired by the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.

The claim states he then continued his violent ways without any disciplinary action from his superiors.

Upon information and belief, Sellers and his K9, Ikar, have previously been involved in incidents that violated Defendant FCSO’s own policies and procedures due to not being trained or certified appropriately, and also involved excessive force being used on individuals, yet Defendant FCSO turned a blind eye to these incidents and allowed Sellers and Ikar to continue their patrol duties with no measures taking place concerning their conduct.

Sellers remains free on bond as he awaits trial for the shooting/dog mauling incident as well as the domestic violence incident.

Cooper’s lawsuit was filed by the South Carolina law firms; Wright, Worley, Pope, Easter & Moss as well as Robert E. Lee law firm and accuses Sellers and the Florence County Sheriff’s Office of negligence, assault and battery.

Rankin’s lawsuit makes the same claims and was filed by the South Carolina law firms; The Parker Law Group, The Law Office of Linward C. Edwards, II and The Law Office of Chaquez T. McCall.

‘Dirty Old Man’: Dennis Quaid, 71, Slammed After Saying ‘It’s Paradise’ Being Married to A 32-Year-Old

Tue, 07/29/2025 - 16:40

Hollywood’s Dennis Quaid is smitten with his fourth wife, Laura Savoie, but his latest remarks about her are raising more eyebrows than applause.

The 71-year-old and Savoie, who is 39 years younger than him, met at a business event in 2019 and got married just one year later. He told Fox News Digital this week that his “life is paradise” with her since.

When fans heard about Quaid’s over-the-top praise for his wife, many couldn’t help but point out the huge age gap between the Hollywood star and the 32-year-old woman he married during the pandemic.

Quaid says he’s never been closer to anyone in his life, calling their relationship something special. “It’s the closest relationship I’ve ever had with anybody. Every day is paradise. What can I tell you? I don’t know why God had waited so long to bring her, for her to come along, but [I’m] really glad he brought her into my life, or I walked into hers.”

But when people see them together, the first thing they notice is how different they look in age, and social media users haven’t been shy about sharing their thoughts.

“Silly old fool! Go get him girl! Take the lot!” wrote one Daily Mail reader when the couple first went public.

Another comment among the tabloid’s usual selection of disparaging remarks read, “Dirty old man.” Some got more serious about it, with one user writing, “When you’re dancing with mortality, attention from any younger woman will seem like paradise.”

The most bitter comment came from someone who said, “How annoying it must be to have to constantly explain that she isn’t his lovely granddaughter and he isn’t her beloved grandpa.”

Quaid doesn’t seem bothered by what people say about their relationship. Back in 2019, he told The Guardian that all the talk about their age gap was “really a laugh.”

He said he wasn’t looking for someone much younger when he met Savoie, and that their relationship just happened naturally. The Texas-born actor has learned not to let other people’s opinions control his happiness, especially since he says this is the best relationship he’s ever had.

Savoie isn’t just a pretty face either.

According to People, she has master’s degrees from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business and the University of Notre Dame. She worked as a certified public accountant at Ernst & Young in Los Angeles, where she handled clients in real estate, drugs, retail, and entertainment. She also has a real estate license and is a certified yoga instructor, showing she’s built a solid career for herself.

The couple has mixed their personal and work lives together. In 2021, they started a production company called Bonniedale Films, with Savoie as a founding partner. Their first movie will be “American Pride,” about country music star Charley Pride. The company is based in Nashville, where they live together.

Their love story moved fast. After meeting in 2019, Quaid proposed during a trip to Hawaii when Savoie thought she was just taking a selfie. They had planned a big wedding in Hawaii with a party in Nashville, but COVID changed those plans. Instead, they had a small ceremony at a resort in Santa Barbara in June 2020, with just their pastor watching. Savoie wore a white gown and Quaid wore a light gray suit.

Religion is important to both of them. They say their shared faith is what makes their relationship strong, especially during tough times like the pandemic lockdowns. Quaid has shared that having God in their relationship makes his current marriage different from his other three marriages.

He was first married to his “Our Winning Season” co-star P.J. Soles for four years. With his second ex-wife, Meg Ryan, he shares a 33-year-old son, Jack. He also has 17-year-old twins Thomas and Zoe, born via surrogate with his third ex-wife, Kimberly Buffington.

Quaid and Savoie say they don’t even think about their age difference in daily life. During an interview on the Today show, Quaid said they “just don’t even notice it” and that he’s never gotten along better with anyone. They both love to travel, especially to Hawaii, and they like watching true crime shows together, often falling asleep to “Dateline” episodes.

Not everyone is convinced their relationship makes sense.

One Daily Mail critic put it bluntly: “She’s young enough to be his grand daughter. He couldn’t find at least a 50-year-old hottie.”

Another said, “I’d be careful if I were him, she has a PhD in accounting, probably knows how to swindle money without him even knowing it.”

A third said, “She looks eerily similar to his teenage daughter.”

But Quaid doesn’t care what people think. He says he finally feels like he has “a real partner in life” and believes this fourth marriage will be his last. For him, finding love at 71 with someone who makes every day feel like paradise is worth all the criticism from strangers on the internet.

‘I Thought She Had the Girls Out…’: Savannah James Turns Heads in Sheer Dress as Fans Zoom in on New Photos

Mon, 07/28/2025 - 23:00

Savannah James is no stranger to serving up a classy, elegant and polished style. She doesn’t often pop out in edgy ensembles, but when Fashion Bomb Daily shared an photo of her on Instagram on July 25 and it left people online shook.

James and her husband LeBron James recently were enjoying their days vacationing in St. Tropez, France, when paparazzi caught them out together one evening. It’s not known where they were coming from or headed to, but Savannah soaked up all of the attention with her outfit, while her husband’s was overlooked. The Los Angeles Lakers star opted for a simpler look that included a black shirt and black slacks. Savannah’s piece, on the other hand, was not so simple.

The mother of three wore a show-stopping Jean Paul Gaultier maxi dress with a halter neckline. On Savannah, who has brown skin, the dress looked like it was created with black mesh material and another sheer fabric with a wood grain pattern. But on someone of a lighter skin tone it’s clear that the dress is actually made with both black and brown material and the grain-like lines were black as well.

The dress is titled “The Long Draped Wood” on Gaultier’s website and is priced at $960.

It seems some people scrolling online were fooled by the illusion of the dress.

One person on Fashion Bomb Daily’s page wrote, “I thought she had the girls out….”

Someone else said, “I thought my girl had the boobs out. Glad she didn’t go that far, but this is.”

A third wrote, “I thought vannah was tryna show us some aerola.”

Others spoke to how the outfit was quite a change from Savannah’s typical looks.

“Ooo, this a lil risqué for Mrs. James,” said one fan.

A second typed, “Sis giving a little tease.”

Savannah has her stylist Casey “Icon” Billingsley to thank for all this chatter regarding her dress.

The Alabama native was obviously proud of his styled look and showed it by commenting “yeah we ate that” on the fashion outlet’s page.

The two have been working together since 2021, and while it seems like Savannah is his main client, based on his Instagram page, he also works with other high-profile people like WNBA player A’ja Wilson, singer-actress Amber Riley, neo-soul artist Jhené Aiko, and more.

Savannah’s style covers a wide spectrum. One minute she may pop out in a sexy bodycon dress, the next she is wearing business attire. Then she may get into more elegant gowns or try out streetwear pieces.

While promoting her new skin care line, Reframe, she spoke with People magazine about her style.

Describing her fashion taste in the May interview, she said. “I would say that with beauty and fashion, both are very experimental. I think you don’t have to stay pigeonholed in a box. You can be wild and expansive with how you think about beauty and fashion, or you can be a little bit more toned down. I find I live kind of on both sides. I think I’m a simple girl by nature, so I tend to lean more towards the easy side of things. But I do really enjoy the fact that there are so many layers to it and you can tap into it at whatever point.”

‘Somebody’s Getting Fired’: Outrage Erupts After Beyoncé’s Own Father, Mathew Knowles Is Blocked from Entering Her Concert

Mon, 07/28/2025 - 22:00

Beyoncé concluded her historic “Cowboy Carter” tour with a final performance in Las Vegas this week, but an unexpected incident involving her father became the evening’s most talked-about moment.

Mathew Knowles, the man who helped launch Destiny’s Child and guided Beyoncé’s early career, found himself denied entry to the VIP pit area in front of the stage by security unfamiliar with who he was, as seen in a now viral video.

The incident unfolded at Allegiant Stadium on July 26, where Beyoncé delivered her final show of the 32-stadium tour that had captivated audiences across the U.S. and Europe.

Fan footage captured Mathew attempting to enter the exclusive pit area near the stage, only to be stopped by a guard who didn’t recognize the father of the world’s biggest superstar. The awkward encounter continued until other staff members intervened to clarify his identity and grant Beyoncé’s dad access to the coveted VIP section.

Beyhive fan Roger Bailey Knowles (no relation to Mathew) shared the video on Instagram, quickly drawing reactions from devoted fans.

“They better not play with Beyoncé’s daddy!” one supporter declared, while another warned, “Chile they better move and let Matthew in.”

A fifth chimed in “Somebody’s getting fired.”

The Industry Blitz’s posting of the footage generated even more commentary, with many fans drawing comparisons to Tina Knowles, who maintains a constant presence at her daughter’s concerts and collaborates with Beyoncé on various business ventures.

The incident highlighted the stark difference in recognizability between Beyoncé’s parents, with one observer noting, “Their job is to protect Beyonce not Matthew. Just wear your credentials like you should. Now if it was Tina they would have automatically known to open the gate. Matthew lucky to be there at all. He better still be thanking Jay Z.”

Another fan emphasized the potential consequences, stating, “They Betta get him right she would shut that sh-t down over pops…how petty B can get she Betta hope she has a job tomorrow.”

Others found humor in the situation, with one commenter adding, “I hope this made Ms.Tina chuckle.”

While the security mix-up provided entertainment for social media, it also served as a reminder of the complicated family history that has played out in public over the years.

The Knowles family dynamics have been marked by significant challenges, particularly surrounding Mathew’s infidelity during his marriage to Tina. Their relationship endured decades of betrayals, with Mathew’s affairs becoming a recurring source of pain for the family.

The tension reached a breaking point when Mathew fathered a child with another woman in 2009, prompting Tina to file for divorce.

However, in a shocking turn of events revealed in Tina’s recent memoir “Matriarch,” she and Mathew secretly reconciled in early 2010, keeping their renewed relationship hidden from Beyoncé and Solange. When the daughters discovered this reconciliation during a surprise Mother’s Day visit, their reactions were explosive, with Solange particularly outraged.

The reconciliation proved short-lived when news emerged that Tina’s husband had fathered yet another child with a different woman. This final betrayal ended any hope of salvaging their marriage, with their divorce becoming official in November 2011.

Despite the tumultuous history, Tina has maintained that Mathew is still her protector, describing their current relationship as brotherly and acknowledging that, despite his failures, he would stand up for her.

The Las Vegas finale brought together Hollywood’s elite, including Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Kris Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, and Gayle King, who captured the star-studded gathering with the caption “Grand opening, grand closing!”

Kerry Washington, Maya Rudolph, director Paul Thomas Anderson, and Daniel Kaluuya, were among the other notable attendees who witnessed Beyoncé’s historic tour conclusion, according to USA Today.

The show itself proved worthy of the celebrity turnout, featuring reunions with former Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, a collaboration with “Cowboy Carter” contributor Shaboozey, and a memorable performance alongside Jay-Z.

The evening represented the culmination of a tour that began at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28, showcasing Beyoncé’s groundbreaking country album and celebrating both established legends and emerging Black country artists.

While Mathew’s security encounter provided momentary embarrassment, his presence at the show reflected the family’s ability to maintain connections despite their complicated past.

‘Completely Unhinged’: White Man Reportedly Punched and Spat on Black Neighbors While Yelling ‘White Race Is Ending,’ Then Asked White Resident to Lie to Police for Him

Mon, 07/28/2025 - 21:00

A Michigan man was jailed on felony hate crime charges for a violent assault he’s accused of committing against his Black neighbors in which he shouted racial slurs, then punched and spat on them, according to neighbors who witnessed the outburst.

Martin Sitto, 43, was arrested in Hazel Park, Michigan, a suburban city near Detroit, and charged with hate crime using force (a five-year felony), assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer, assault and battery, and trespassing.

Authorities say his charges stem from an incident on June 29 in a residential community where they were called twice because of Sitto’s hostile and chaotic behavior, according to WDIV.

When police first arrived, they saw Sitto yelling and trespassing onto his neighbor’s property. They ordered him to stay away, but officers were called back later that night to find Sitto allegedly screaming profanities, using racial slurs, and behaving aggressively.

Witnesses say that Sitto was throwing tree branches at a Black woman and punching her. The victim managed to counter Sitto’s attacks and punch him back.

When another neighbor tried to intervene and de-escalate the violence, Sitto turned on him and started attacking him and damaging property.

Police say they’ve been called several times in the past over Sitto’s wild and belligerent behavior.

One of Sitto’s neighbors said his conduct is nothing new to residents who know Sitto.

She said Sitto had previously yelled racist and homophobic slurs into the neighborhood, threatened her, her mother, and said that he would “slit people’s throats.”

She also witnessed the June 29 attack and said she saw Sitto punching his Black neighbors, spitting on them, then running around his home yelling that the “white race is ending.”

He also reportedly asked her to cover for him and lie to the police on his behalf.

“He asked me to tell the police that they assaulted him,” she said. “I think he assumed because I’m white, I’d be on his side. But I knew what I saw. I wasn’t going to let him get away with it.”

She said she also tried to intervene and help the victims by wiping spit off their faces and physically trying to hold Sitto back as he continued to launch attacks.

“I felt like he had the potential to cause considerable harm,” the neighbor said. “Even if I were to end up having a black eye, it would be better that I’m hurt and holding him back than having him constantly hurting these people just for existing and because of the color of their skin.”

Even after officers arrived, Sitto didn’t calm down. Neighbors said he resisted arrest, swung at an officer, and threatened residents, police, and government officials in multiple cities. Officers were eventually able to subdue and handcuff him.

“He was completely unhinged,” one neighbor said. “Shouting threats about Hazel Park, Royal Oak, Troy … saying ‘everyone was going to die.’ He didn’t stop, even when he was in handcuffs.”

Another resident called Sitto a “danger to society,” and said he’s been terrorizing the community for some time.

Police say he has a history of substance abuse and mental health issues. His criminal history shows he was previously charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, domestic violence, and felonious assault.

“I’ve been here for about a year, and it was peaceful until he came back,” one neighbor said. “He would shout things like, ‘Go back to Africa,’ and make threats that were violent and disturbing — not just once, but constantly.”

Sitto was jailed on a $25,000 bond and was ordered not to contact the alleged victims.

‘Absolutely Should Have Known Better’: 74-Year-Old Man Said He Had the Right to Shoot Virginia Man Who Knocked On His Door By Mistake, A Judge Showed Him No Mercy At Sentencing

Mon, 07/28/2025 - 20:27

A 74-year-old man likely will spend the rest of his life in a Virginia prison for gunning down a man who mistakenly knocked on his apartment door after confusing the home for a friend’s.

Leroy King was sentenced to 25 years in prison for fatally shooting 38-year-old Albert Johnson in June 2023, according to the Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office.

Prosecutors say Johnson was in the neighborhood to visit one of King’s neighbors, but knocked on the 74-year-old’s door by mistake.

He knocked once, left, and returned to King’s home later that day and knocked again. King then shouted at Johnson for standing at his front door, walked outside armed with a handgun, and shot the 38-year-old twice in his neck and torso.

The person Johnson was trying to visit lived right next door to King.

Medics pronounced Johnson dead at the scene, and police arrested King.

The 74-year-old was charged with second-degree murder and using a firearm in the commission of a murder.

He pleaded not guilty, but a jury convicted King at his trial in April.

During his sentencing hearing, he continued to maintain his innocence and incorrectly asserted that he had the right to use lethal force against Johnson even after admitting that he had never come in contact with the victim before the shooting.

“Mr. King had no right to shoot the victim, and, both at his age and with his prior conduct, he absolutely should have known better,” said Commonwealth’s Attorney Ramin Fatehi. “I extend my condolences to Mr. Johnson’s family for losing their loved one in such a senseless way. He did nothing wrong. The fact that Mr. King does not see that he committed a crime means that Mr. King poses a continuing danger to the public and that his sentence fits his crime. My prosecutors and I will continue to focus our resources on prosecuting the individuals who kill in our city.”

A judge sentenced King to 25 years in prison and suspended another 20 years on the condition that he complete 20 years of good behavior and three years of supervised probation should he be released from prison.

Prosecutors say King was previously convicted of a similar incident in 2003 in Lynchburg, Virginia, where he shot his neighbor. The victim in that shooting survived their injuries.

In Johnson’s online obituary, loved ones wrote that he “had a captivating spirit, and an aura that would light up any room he entered,” adding that he “was strong and triumphant, overcoming many adversities in his life,” and had a “larger-than-life personality.”

‘This is What Billionaires Do’: Lauren Sánchez May Cash In After All With Jeff Bezos’ Latest Financial Move, Even With an ‘Ironclad’ Prenup

Mon, 07/28/2025 - 20:03

Jeff Bezos is likely living extremely comfortably with his estimated $246 billion fortune, but the Amazon founder’s recent stock moves have caught the attention of online fans.

Bezos, 61, has reportedly sold $5.7 billion worth of Amazon stock since marrying media personality Lauren Sánchez, 55, on June 27.

Sánchez and Bezos hosted a lavish wedding in Venice, Italy, that reportedly cost at least $20 million. Their three-day celebration made international headlines for its opulence.

According to The New York Post, Bezos reportedly began selling significant Amazon shares during the weekend of his nuptials. However, he also dumped $13.6 billion worth of shares over the previous year. Bloomberg reports that the e-commerce magnate often uses stock sales — which the outlet says has totaled $50 billion since 2002 — to finance other business ventures, such as his Blue Origin space company.

The Princeton University graduate still supposedly controls 884 million shares which is about 8 percent of the tech company. The Amazon stock price has seen around a 38 percent value increase since April.

Despite Bezos being one of the five richest people on the planet, some internet users wonder if his lavish ceremony with Sánchez has somehow hurt his pockets.

“Do I hear divorce bells?” asked one person on X. Another explained, “This is what billionaires do when they have reason to be bearish. He’s cashing out now before tariffs (or whatever) hurt his bottom line.”

“Well, now he has this high maintenance wife to pay for,” another person suggested. A third simply tweeted, “The wife’s getting expensive, isn’t she? Who would’ve thought?”

Some even hinted that Sánchez was using Bezos’ money for other purposes, writing, “Lip fillers are expensive.” Bezos’ new wife has not publicly confirmed or denied having any specific cosmetic surgeries or procedures.

New York Post readers also chimed in on Bezos dumping Amazon stocks. A jokester commented, “I guess he is having financial problems. No wonder my packages never arrive on time!!!!!!!”

Bezos and Sánchez first went public with their relationship at the Wimbledon Championships tennis tournament in London, England, in July 2019.

The Amazon executive chairman eventually popped the question to the former “Good Day L.A.” host on his $500 million yacht, Koru, in May 2023.

Bezos asked Sánchez for her hand in marriage by offering the mother of three children a 30-carat pink engagement ring apparently valued between $3 million and $5 million.

“When he opened the box, I think I blacked out a bit,” Sánchez told Vogue magazine in November 2023 about Bezos proposing to her during their European vacation.

There have been widespread rumors that Bezos and Sánchez’s romantic connection began while both social climbers were still joined in matrimony to other people. Page Six has confirmed they signed their ironclad multi-million-dollar prenup before getting married.

Despite an “ironclad” prenuptial agreement, Sánchez may still walk away with a substantial financial cushion from her marriage to Bezos. While it likely shields Bezos’s Amazon shares and core business assets, legal experts say the timing of his recent stock sell-off suggests strategic planning that could be tied to the agreement.

Sánchez is no stranger to high-stakes negotiations. Her previous marriage to Patrick Whitesell reportedly included a prenup, indicating she likely came to the table more prepared.

Bezos was previously married to the mother of his four children, MacKenzie Scott, from 1993 to 2019 and has publicly denied rumors that the relationship with Sánchez overlapped.

Sánchez and Whitesell were married from 2005 to 2019. They share a son and a daughter. She has a son with former NFL player Tony Gonzalez as well.

The lead-up to Bezos and Sánchez’s extravagant, star-studded wedding included a bachelorette party in Paris featuring celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, and Eva Longoria.

“Lauren and I are always sending DMs building each other up,” Kardashian is quoted saying in a 2023 Vogue article. “Every time there’s a look that we like, she’ll say, ‘WOW,’ or ‘OMG, you look amazing.’”

Likewise, Bezos invited a group of his male friends to a bachelor party in Madrid. The American businessman and his entourage reportedly met up at a restaurant and club to celebrate him exchanging rings for a second time.

The guest list for the Italian wedding contained household names such as Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Leonardo DiCaprio, Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Usher, Ivanka Trump, and Tom Brady.

According to the daughter of Grammy Award-winning musician David Foster, none of the wedding attendees signed non-disclosure agreements. “90210” actress Sara Foster also revealed there were “definitely a lot of people that were not photographed” at the event.

‘My Legs Do Not Work!’: Texas Cops Order Paralyzed Man to ‘Crawl’ Out of Car During Stop Over Bogus Marijuana Claim

Mon, 07/28/2025 - 18:00

In one of the most disturbing videos to surface in recent months, Texas cops ordered a paraplegic out of his car during a minor traffic infraction after claiming to have smelled marijuana, forcing the man to urinate on himself under threat of arrest before releasing him after finding no marijuana in the car.

The incident took place on April 9, but the police body camera video was not posted on YouTube until July 19, showing De Kalb police officers pulling a car over with three occupants over a license plate light that was not illuminated, which is a transportation code violation in Texas.

However, one of the cops decided to escalate the traffic stop by claiming to have smelled marijuana, which gave him probable cause to force everybody out of the car to search it without a warrant.

Jacob Jackson, who is a paraplegic, was forced out of the car during a minor traffic stop in Texas after the cop claimed to have smelled weed, which was never found. (Photo: body camera)

The driver, Jacob Jackson, was unable to exit without help because of his disability and because he was traveling without a wheelchair. And the man in the passenger seat, who is 100 percent blind, was also hesitant to step out onto the side of a road because of his disability.

The woman in the back seat, who appeared to be Jackson’s partner, repeatedly insisted there was no weed in the car, but the cops were insistent they needed everybody out of the car to search it.

During the hour-long detainment, Jackson told the cop he needed to urinate into a catheter, which he needs to do every four hours to avoid complications.

But first, the cop ordered him to stop reaching for the catheter, and once Jackson had it in his hand, the cop threatened to arrest him for indecent exposure if he urinated into the catheter.

Jackson ended up having to urinate in his pants.

Brave and Blind

The male passenger in the car was Dallas Bruce, who runs a TikTok channel called Brave and Blind. Jackson frequently appears on the channel with the two disabled friends, posting videos showing them working together hunting and fishing despite their disabilities.

Jackson also has a TikTok channel where he posts videos showing him overcoming the challenges due to his disability.

The two were featured on a YouTube podcast six months ago, where they discussed how they work together to overcome the challenges produced by their disabilities.

The Brave and Blind TikTok channel has almost 15,000 followers, but the two have not spoken about the incident that took place more than three months ago.

The three friends who live in Arkansas were driving through Texas when they were pulled over for the missing light at 5:49 a.m., according to the timestamp on the video.

Three minutes into the stop, one of the cops who refused to identify himself throughout the video claimed to have smelled marijuana, which is a common tactic police use to search cars without a warrant – whether they actually smell the weed or not, because it is impossible to prove they’re lying in court unless they admit it.

“I’ve been dirtied by you all before, so I really don’t trust you all, honestly,” Bruce told the cop who promised to keep him from walking into traffic.

Bruce then stepped out, and the cop frisked him and walked him to his patrol car.

‘You are a F-king Tyrant’

After Bruce stepped out of the car, the cop then walked to the driver’s side to order Jackson out of the car. But Jackson did not have a wheelchair because the car was filled with items in the backseat and trunk, leaving no more room for it.

“I do not have a f-cking wheelchair, you idiot,” Jackson said. “My legs do not work.”

“You’re going to lose your job. What is your badge number?”

“I asked you three times to identify yourself, and you have not. You are a f_cking tyrant. What is your badge number?”

The cop refused to answer, telling him again he needed to step out of the car.

Jackson did just that, falling to the ground beside his car, a couple of feet away from speeding traffic.

“Well, if you’re going to crawl, crawl yourself that way, sir,” the cop said.

“I’m not moving, you asked me to get out of the f-cking vehicle. I’m out of the vehicle. This is over a f-cking taillight or tag light. This is absolutely ridiculous.”

The cop then realized he had created a dangerous situation, so he placed the blame on Jackson for falling out of the car.

“You put yourself on the ground, sir,” the cop claimed. “I did not remove you.”

The cop then allowed him to climb back into the car.

“OK, we’re going to search the car with you in it,” the cop said as Jackson’s legs began trembling, a complication of his disability.

“Odor of marijuana is probable cause for a search.”

The cop then threatened to physically remove him from the car

“You cannot do this, you need to call and get a wheelchair down here just like every other state trooper that I have ever been pulled over by,” Jackson said.

“You need to do your due diligence as a police officer. And you need to do your job, buddy. You still haven’t identified yourself.”

‘Indecent Exposure’

At one point in the video, Jackson starts rummaging in the backseat for his catheter, prompting the cop to order him to “stop digging around in there, man.”

“I’m not going to piss on myself,” Jackson said. “Do what you got to do, I’m looking for a catheter.”

“Stop digging around in there,” the cop ordered.

Jackson found his catheter and was preparing to urinate, but the cop continued flashing his light onto him.

“You’re going to hold the motherf-cker for me?” Jackson asked.

“If you pull your d-ck out, I’m charging you with indecent exposure,” the cop threatened.

“I’m on a time schedule by my doctor, I have to piss every four hours or my bladder gets extended and it can cause issues,” Jackson said.

“I’m just pissing on myself,” Jackson said after realizing he would go to jail if he tried using the catheter despite doctor’s orders.

But the cop showed no empathy or understanding, still fishing for that marijuana arrest now that he was not going to get the indecent exposure arrest.

“So because he’s paralyzed, he thinks that means he doesn’t have to get out of the car for a probable cause search,” the cop said to another cop who walked up to the car.

“Ok, we’re still going to get out of the car, so let’s do that now,” the second cop said.

“I’ll grab some gloves and we’ll make it happen.”

They then removed him and sat him by his vehicle by the side of the road where he had been before climbing back into the car.

The cops searched the car for more than 20 minutes but found no marijuana.

“Ok, you all can get back in the vehicle,” the cop said, having struck out at finding weed in the car.

Watch the video below, which has been edited down to ten minutes, or the full-length video where it was first posted on YouTube, which is almost an hour long.

‘Did Oprah Get the Kris Jenner Face-Lift Too?’: Oprah Winfrey’s Jaw-Dropping New Look Raises Eyebrows After Fans Zoom In

Mon, 07/28/2025 - 17:58

Oprah Winfrey is doing something right other than shedding extra pounds, because fans are taking notice of her better-than-ever appearance.

The billionaire mogul looked so refreshed and youthful when she attended the final concert of Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter Tour” that some people are now questioning if a doctor may be to thank for her megawatt glow and snatched face.

Oprah Winfrey fans say she looks younger than before in new photos. (Photo by MICHAEL TRAN/AFP via Getty Images)

As one Instagram user put it, “She’s aging in RICH” and everyone wants in on her secret. Winfrey, 71, attended the show with best pal Gayle King, her goddaughter Kirby Bumpus, and celebrity peers such as Tyler Perry, Kerry Washington, Khloé Kardashian, and Kris Jenner and her beau Corey Gamble.

The former queen of daytime television wore an appropriately themed light denim pants outfit, complete with a silver button and embroidered matching jacket. Winfrey’s hair was styled in long, flowy waves, and, at times, she posed for high-flash photographs with a pair of brown sunshades on.

Oprah Winfrey looks better than ever, sparking speculation her 71-year-old beauty is reversing with the help of a facelift. (Photos: Oprah/Instagram.)

The entire look earned her high praise from followers, who said she had “found the fountain of youth apparently.” Many wrote comments like, “Y’all look like a group of 20 year olds!!” Aw well as, “Why Ms Oprah look so young?! Keep enjoying life ladies!!”

However, with so many eyes assessing the OWN founder’s jaw-dropping presence, the comments detoured into the realm of assumptions. For starters, one individual theorized this about Winfrey’s seemingly wrinkle-free face and taut neck: “She probably just got a little tightening after all of that weight loss.”

Someone else sarcastically quipped, “Is Oprah in the room with us?”

Countless others alluded to Winfrey’s friend, 69-year-old Jenner, who recently touched-up face. Over the past few months, many have praised Jenner’s facial transformation, though some assume the momager had allegedly undergone several cosmetic procedures to remain looking youthful alongside her five daughters.

“Did Oprah get the Kris Jenner face-lift too? She looks extra young now too,” said a fifth person.

But in her defense, a fan argued, “Oprah been looking good. The hair, the skin, the shape have all been for a very long time now.”

“The Color Purple” Oscar nominee has been steadily dropping pounds since 2023, when she admitted to using a weight loss drug. She had not ’fessed up to seeking cosmetic procedures to reverse the hands of time.

Winfrey, King, and Jenner have slowly become the “it girls” this summer after being spotted on a yacht in Italy following Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding. Fans and critics alike are convinced that the trio is the hottest friends group in Hollywood for those 65 and older.

‘You Can’t Search Me!’: Wisconsin Police Handcuff Black Man, Call In K-9 to Search Car Because They Didn’t Believe He Pulled Over to Text—It’s All on Bodycam, and Now He’s Suing

Mon, 07/28/2025 - 17:15

A Black barber is suing police in Wisconsin, accusing officers of racially profiling and detaining him on suspicion of drug-dealing just because he parked in a no-parking zone.

“It just felt like it was racial,” Jessie Watkins said. “I don’t care what they say. I felt it. I felt degraded, I felt humiliated, I just felt like officers of all people shouldn’t behave that way.”

Bodycam footage captures police interaction with Jessie Watkins who’s now suing over the incident. (Credit: Waukesha PD)

Watkins, a barber from Milwaukee, was stopped by police on April 17 after he was seen parked in a no-parking zone in Waukesha, WTMJ reported.

Bodycam footage shows police approach Watkins’ car late that night, dubious about his presence in the area. Watkins was driving his girlfriend’s car after dropping her off at work and pulled over to send a text.

He said that, other than his race, several factors contributed to why police were suspicious of him.

Watkins, who has roughly 400 clients, has two phones to separate his business-related affairs from his personal life. He was also a truck driver before becoming a barber, and so he doesn’t like to text and drive.

After police see the phones in Watkins’ car, they communicate their suspicions about both devices.

“He’s got two phones,” one officer is heard on bodycam video saying. “How come you’ve got so many phones?”

Watkins told police he pulled over to text, but they didn’t buy his story. Without more questions or explanations, they asked Watkins to exit the car.

When Watkins asks the officer why he’s being apprehended, one officer responds that “everything you’re doing is suspicious.”

“What is suspicious about what {I am} doing?” Watkins responds.

“You’re parked in a known drug-dealing area. It’s a third-party vehicle, you have two phones, you’re smoking,” an officer responded.

“A known drug-dealing area?” Watkins questioned.

Watkins makes a request for a supervisor but is denied. He asks again, “I’m requesting to see your supervisor. I can request to see your supervisor.” However, the officer denies him once more. “No, you do not.”

The officers frisk Watkins, search his pockets, then handcuff him despite Watkins once again requesting a supervisor and verbally denying their request to conduct a search. “You can’t search me, I know my rights.”

“Being detained for what? For being Black? For being Black in Waukesha?” Watkins asked during the encounter.

Watkins repeats his reason for stopping — to avoid texting and driving — but that didn’t clear the officers’ skepticism.

“If you think I’m really going to buy that you’re pulling over to text, does this look like my first day?” the officer asked.

“Look at my phone then!” Watkins replied.

“Nobody does that, dude,” the officer said.

Officers called a K-9 unit to sniff the car for drugs. All police found was a THC vape, but nothing else.

After detaining Watkins for 30 minutes, they released him.

Watkins filed a lawsuit, accusing two of the cops of violating his civil rights, alleging he was unreasonably searched and seized because of his race, according to WTMJ.

In a statement, Waukesha Police explained why the officers pulled Watkins over, noting that their actions and decisions fell within department standards:

The facts of this case, a uniformed officer observed an illegally parked vehicle in a clearly marked no parking zone during the overnight hours. Due to the vehicle’s heavily tinted windows and its location, the officer made consensual contact with the vehicle to investigate the circumstances.  Heavily tinted windows can prevent officers from seeing inside the vehicle, which can pose safety concerns, especially during nighttime hours.  As such we are unable to identify if anyone is in the vehicle.  The officer approached the vehicle to make contact with the occupant and determine if any assistance was needed or if any violations were occurring.

During the encounter, the occupant of the vehicle raised concerns about potential bias in the stop. The department takes all such concerns seriously. However, it’s important to clarify that the officer could not see inside the vehicle or determine the identity or demographics of the occupant prior to making contact. The decision to engage in dialogue with the operator of the vehicle was based solely on the vehicle being in violation of a posted no parking zone and the safety concerns associated with being unable to see into the vehicle due to its excessive tint.

We recognize the importance of maintaining public trust and are committed to fair, unbiased policing. All interactions are subject to review to ensure they align with department policy and professional standards. In this case, the officer acted within those standards and handled the situation professionally.

Watkins’ attorney contested the actions seen on the bodycam footage, stating that the search was unlawful and accusing police of escalating the situation when they could have merely ordered Watkins to leave the no-parking zone.

“They knew Mr. Watkins was Black when they made contact with him,” attorney William Sulton said. “They could see him at that point. If you see a car that’s parked on a street and you’d like that car to move, it is normal for police to say, ‘Hey, we’d like you to move your car.’ It is not normal for police to say get out of the car, let me get your license, let me run your name, let me put you in handcuffs, let me search you. That is not normal. That’s part of an investigation pursuant to an arrest. You would expect that if they actually had probable cause to arrest and they didn’t here.”

‘She Was So Much Prettier Before’: Fans Say Melania Trump Looks Almost Unrecognizable in Photos Taken More Than 10 Years Before Marrying Donald Trump

Mon, 07/28/2025 - 16:14

People are often fixated on First lady Melania Trump and her appearance. But a resurfaced photograph from her modeling days has left social media users stunned by what they perceive as a dramatic transformation.

The vintage photo, now circulating widely across platforms, captures a version of the first lady that many claim is barely recognizable when compared to her current appearance.

The throwback photo, taken likely more than 20 years ago, has sparked passionate discussions among users, who point to significant differences in facial features, bone structure, and overall appearance. This latest wave of scrutiny has reignited persistent questions about cosmetic procedures despite Trump’s previous denials of any surgical enhancements.

When an Instagram page posted the picture alongside a more recent photo of the first lady, the user posted sarcastically, “Yes, Doctor… Please put my cheekbones right next to my ears, remove 75% of my chin, give me a nice, big, healthy set of jugs… ooh, and make my eyes look like I’m permanently trying to bend spoons with my mind.”

Many Instagram users hopped into the comments and weighed in on the before-and-after looks under the post.

“She was so much prettier before. Always looks angry eyed so much pulling of skin,” commented one observer.

Someone then joked, “Why does it look like Melania is always squinting?”

“Doesn’t look like the same person. Did she have her eyes made smaller?” another said.

Another person added, “Why do people do this to their faces? I just don’t understand. She had such a lovely face.”

Medical professionals have also weighed in on the speculation surrounding Melania’s appearance.

Dr. Dennis Schimpf, a board-certified plastic surgeon based in Charleston, South Carolina, has analyzed available photographs and identified what he considers telltale signs of cosmetic procedures.

Schimpf said to The List in February that Melania appears to have a scar in front of her ear, known as a pretragal incision, which is commonly associated with facelift procedures. He also points to subtle changes in the shape of her ears and the tightness of her neck as classic indicators of surgical intervention.

Supporting this assessment, Dr. Sean McNally, another board-certified surgeon, has made similar observations. He notes that the 55-year-old earlobe has developed what medical professionals call a “pixie shape,” and there appears to be a faint line just in front of her ear running down to the edge of her earlobe, both consistent with facelift procedures.

Beyond facial surgery, Schimpf said he believes Melania may have also undergone an eyelid lift, known as a canthoplasty. When comparing recent photographs to earlier ones, he observes that her originally rounder, almond-shaped eyes, which naturally convey a more youthful appearance, now appear more slanted and angled upward.

This transformation is typically the result of an eyelid lift, possibly combined with a temporal brow lift.

The speculation reached fever pitch in 2018 when the White House announced that Trump had undergone kidney cyst embolization surgery, according to The Hill.

While the procedure itself wasn’t unusual, her extended hospital stay of five nights and subsequent 24-day absence from public appearances raised eyebrows among observers.

Given that cyst embolization typically requires only a 24-hour hospital stay, many questioned whether this was a cover for cosmetic procedures.

Dr. Schimpf notes that the recovery period for the rumored surgeries, particularly a facelift, would be approximately six weeks, with initial swelling subsiding in 7-10 days and bruising resolving within three weeks.

However, Trump herself has consistently denied undergoing cosmetic procedures.

In a GQ interview, she stated emphatically, “I didn’t do anything. I live a healthy life, I take care of my skin and my body. I’m against Botox, I’m against injections; I think it’s damaging your face, damaging your nerves. It’s all me.”

Donald Trump also addressed the rumors during the 2018 speculation, taking to Twitter to defend his wife.

“The Fake News Media has been so unfair, and vicious, to my wife and our great First Lady, Melania. During her recovery from surgery they reported everything from near death, to facelift, to left the W.H. (and me) for N.Y. or Virginia, to abuse. All Fake, she is doing really well!” he tweeted.

‘Go Back to Africa!’: Black Workers Get the Last Laugh After Years of Racial Slurs and Racist Graffiti In Work Areas at Steel Plant. Now the Company’s Paying the Price

Mon, 07/28/2025 - 15:25

A Buffalo, New York, steel galvanizing company will pay $360,000 and adopt new anti-discrimination practices to settle a federal lawsuit by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) on behalf of Black and Haitian workers who said they endured egregious racial slurs, harassing graffiti and a hostile workplace for more than a decade.

The lawsuit against Frontier Hot-Dip Galvanizing, Inc. was filed nine years ago in U.S. District Court in New York after two Black employees filed complaints with the EEOC, charging they were fired after complaining about discrimination on the basis of race and national origin.

Galvanizing involves putting a coating on steel to prevent it from rusting. Workers’ responsibilities at the Buffalo plant include loading steel, working in acid tanks and a galvanizing kettle, and driving a forklift.

Johnny Mitchell, who began working at Frontier in 2012, said in the complaint (obtained by Atlanta Black Star) that white managers and co-workers openly referred to Black employees using racial slurs such as “ni—er,” “monkey,” “coon,” and “you people,” and that two of his co-workers repeatedly called him “ni—er,” “punk” and “fa—ot” from December 2014 to March 2015.

When he complained to his supervisor, Superintendent Michael Oshirak, about the verbal harassment, he says Oshirak laughed and told him to ignore it. Mitchell then took his complaints to upper management, who met with one of his co-workers, Jaquan Sumler, and told him to stop bothering Mitchell.

But afterward, Sumler taunted Mitchell, saying, “That’s not going to stop me,” and continued to harass him, calling him “coon, ni—er, monkey and fa—ot,” the lawsuit says.

Racist graffiti covered the walls of many common areas of the facility, including those across from the front office, locker room, and the walls and stalls of the bathroom, and contained imagery and phrases such as “ni—er, go home,” “no ni—ers allowed,” “ni—ers suck c—k,” “ni—ers must die,” “go back to Africa,” “Haitians is fa—ots,” as well as pictures of male genitals, Confederate flags and swastikas.

Managers spent extensive time in the areas where the graffiti was visible, the complaint says, and were well aware of it.

Mitchell said he and other Black employees complained repeatedly about the graffiti and slurs, but the company took no action to address them.

On March 7, 2015, Nate Oshirak, another co-worker (and the grandson of his supervisor), waited outside the bathroom, followed Mitchell to his work area, knocked items off of his workstation, and got in his face, calling him “ni—er” and “fa—ot,” Mitchell claims. Mitchell says he backed up and told Oshirak to leave him alone, but Oshirak continued to move forward, physically confronting him, after which Mitchell slapped Oshirak in the face.

Then, according to a deposition by Michael Jackson, an employee and claimant in the lawsuit, the elder Oshirak then came charging out of his office, raising a wooden stick, and told Mitchell, “I’m going to kill you, ni—er!” and then fired him, saying, “Leave, ni—er, and never come back!”

The lawsuit also chronicles the experience of Jean Basquin, who started working at Frontier Hot-Dip Galvanizing in 2008. Basquin, who is Haitian, said Superintendent Oshirak routinely made offensive comments to him, including, “People like you come to this country to get a handout,” and “You don’t deserve to work here.”

On March 19, 2014, the complaint says, Oshirak asked the employees on his shift to confirm their citizenship because the company had received a contract from the U.S. military that purportedly required anyone who worked on the project to be a U.S. citizen.

When Oshirak approached Basquin, he allegedly shouted, “We don’t work with terrorists! Only American citizens work here!” and “Go back to Africa!” and then made monkey noises and gestures at Basquin.

Oshirak then told Basquin, “I think you are here illegally,” and threatened to call the FBI.

Basquin had a green card, but was terrified by the threats, the lawsuit says, and complained to Vice President Lewis Pierce and Executive Manager Jeffrey Pruet that Oshirak had called him a terrorist.  But the company officials failed to prevent or promptly correct the harassing behavior, the EEOC said.

The lawsuit, filed in August of 2016, contended that Frontier had no anti-harassment policy or procedure in place for employees to complain about harassment or discrimination.

Basquin took his complaints to the EEOC, filing a charge of discrimination on March 21, 2014, alleging harassment based on his national origin.

When he returned to work three days later, Frontier’s president Lewis Pierce “waved the EEOC Notice of Charge in his face,” the lawsuit says, and then Basquin was given two disciplinary warnings for excessive absences for two absences that had occurred in January and February. Prior to that day, he had never received a disciplinary warning.

In June of 2014, Basquin received disciplinary warnings for allegedly refusing to galvanize bomb racks, despite Oshirak’s earlier command that Basquin not do so because he was a foreigner, the complaint says.

On September 29, 2014, Basquin got another disciplinary warning for leaving work early to attend to his ill son, despite receiving permission to leave, he claimed. He was placed on a six-month probation and threatened with termination.

On March 2, 2025, Basquin was fired for allegedly failing to show up for an overtime shift. The EEOC contends that he had obtained permission for the time off, and that his termination and the disciplinary actions leading up to it were in retaliation for his filing a discrimination complaint with the EEOC.

The lawsuit argued that Frontier had violated the federal Civil Rights Acts of 1964 and 1991 by discriminating against Mitchell, Basquin and similarly aggrieved Black employees at the Buffalo facility on the basis of race and national origin, by creating a hostile work environment, and by retaliating against them when they complained.

The EEOC sought a jury trial to determine compensation to “make whole” Basquin, Mitchell, and other Black employees, including backpay, reinstatement, economic losses from the unlawful employment practices, medical expenses, emotional pain and suffering, and humiliation, as well as punitive damages.

It also wanted the court to order Frontier to institute and carry out policies and practices that provide equal employment opportunities for Blacks and Haitians and that eradicate the effects of its past and present unlawful employment practices.

In its answer to the complaint and in subsequent court filings since 2016, Frontier denied all of the allegations of discrimination and retaliation in the lawsuit.

The company asserted that Mitchell was fired for cause, for “physically attacking a co-worker,” and not for any reasons related to his race or his complaints about racial discrimination, and further argued that racist graffiti at the Buffalo warehouse had been “expeditiously” removed once the company became aware of it.

Similarly, Frontier argued that Basquin was terminated for his excessive absences, not due to his national origin or for making a complaint about discrimination.

In its bid to dismiss the case in 2023, Frontier further maintained that it had an anti-harassment policy in place since 2015, which employees could and did utilize.

In its memorandum opposing that motion, the EEOC argued that Frontier’s anti-harassment policy was ineffective and barely known to its employees and the many temporary, predominantly Black workers at its warehouse.

In depositions, supervisors testified that workers only saw the company’s anti-harassment policy when they were told to review a binder containing all of Frontier’s employee policies on their first day of work, but were not otherwise provided with a copy of the policy.

Frontier did not provide supervisors or employees with any training about the laws that prohibit discrimination in the workplace or with any training on its anti-harassment procedures or related complaint procedures, the EEOC said.

When interviewed in depositions, the company’s managers tasked with enforcing the anti-harassment policy could not articulate how it was supposed to be implemented, and Oshirak, the superintendent, could not recall ever reading it, the memorandum said.

Oshirak was reprimanded with a written warning for using the word “ni—er” at work, the EEOC noted, but a deposition of Oshirak revealed that the cloudiness of the company’s anti-harassment policy left him believing “he would simply be given another warning if Frontier caught him calling an employee a ‘ni—ger,’ and he continued to say it.”

“Near total ignorance among supervisors and employees about its policy and Frontier’s lackadaisical attitude towards harassment occurring within its walls indicates that management condoned and even encouraged the creation of a hostile work environment, making its policy a ‘sham,’” the EEOC concluded.

“Frontier feigns ignorance as to how allegations of rampant racism – employees and supervisors calling their Black colleagues “ni–ers” and “coons” on the warehouse floor and racist graffiti covering the walls, locker room, and bathroom – could be true when Frontier hires so many Black and Hispanic temporary workers. Incredibly, Frontier fails to grasp the scope of the discriminatory, hostile, and racist environment it maintains, even when employee after employee reported racist graffiti and racist language so commonplace that most thought it futile to complain.”

U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo denied Frontier’s motion for summary judgment in July of 2024, and after another year of litigation, a trial expected to last two weeks was scheduled to begin in August.

Instead, last month the parties settled and submitted a joint motion to approve a consent judgment decree, which Vilardo approved on July 18.

The three-year consent decree requires Frontier Hot-Dip Galvanizing, which admits no wrongdoing, to pay $360,000 to “the class of aggrieved individuals … subjected to a racially hostile work environment by Defendant,” which will be put in a settlement fund and managed by the EEOC.

The decree includes injunctions prohibiting Frontier from engaging in harassment or discharge on the basis of race or national origin; from engaging in retaliation of any kind because a person has filed a discrimination claim or opposed a practice prohibited by civil rights law; and requiring the company to remove all graffiti of a racial, ethnic or derogatory nature within 24 hours of observation or reporting.

Frontier must revise its policies for addressing racial harassment, including developing new anti-discrimination policies, and provide training to its managers, supervisors, and all other employees.

It singles out Superintendent Michael Oshirak for six hours of one-on-one anti-discrimination training by a human resources consultant who will be retained to work with the company for the duration of the decree, and will help to develop its employee training, complaint reporting, and record-keeping procedures.

Among the mandated new employment practices for Frontier will be an independent equal employment opportunity (EEO) hotline for employees to call when they have complaints or concerns about discrimination.

Frontier must regularly report its progress to the EEOC during the decree’s three-year duration, or until the EEOC finds that the company is in full compliance.

“Enduring race and national origin-based harassment is not and should not be a condition of employment,” said Kimberly Cruz, regional attorney for the EEOC’s New York District Office. “Employers are responsible for preventing and remedying harassment of all workers – including temporary workers – and the EEOC will continue to hold employers accountable when they fail to do so.”

Frontier representatives, in a statement to The Buffalo News after the settlement was announced, said they “firmly deny the EEOC’s claims and make no admission of wrongdoing.” They stated that they settled the lawsuit to “avoid the unsustainable financial burden of continued litigation against a government agency.”

‘Whyyyyyyyyy’: Travis Kelce’s Shocking New Look Has Fans Saying His Barber Did Him Dirty

Mon, 07/28/2025 - 14:20

Travis Kelce has officially said goodbye to his longer hairstyle, debuting a fresh buzz cut as the Kansas City Chiefs gear up for another NFL season.

After spending the summer with his girlfriend Taylor Swift, the 35-year-old tight end showed off his newly shorn look during training camp in St. Joseph, Missouri, marking a return to the shorter style that defined much of his earlier career.

Photos shared by the NFL and Chiefs on Sunday captured Kelce smiling widely in his team’s red and gold jersey, the dramatic hair transformation impossible to miss as he prepared alongside teammates for the upcoming season.

The athlete’s decision to return to his familiar shorter hairstyle marks more than just a cosmetic change — it represents his commitment to getting back to basics as he prepares for what many consider a pivotal season in his career.

After months of maintaining longer hair that became as much a part of his identity as his spectacular catches, Kelce appeared refreshed and focused as he jogged onto the turf, his newly shorn head catching the light as he draped a white towel over his dome with characteristic confidence.

The Chiefs’ Instagram erupted with mixed reactions to the dramatic makeover.

A post shared by Kansas City Chiefs (@chiefs)

“Ngl [Not gone lie] I’m with the swifties, this cut was not good. I [miss] the 90s heartthrob better IMO [In my opinion] ( Good TE tho),” one fan lamented.

When one fan cried out, “Whyyyyyyyy … whyyyy,” someone else said, “It looks good but the barber didn’t do a great job. Maybe it was a teammate at camp.”

“I’m so happy he’s back to his old look,” one person wrote, before adding, “He looks younger that way.”

A Daily Mail reader said, “I’m sure Taylor told him how to cut it.” On X, someone else wrote, “Nah, he’s going back to his roots. Watch out Taylor.”

The debate continued as supporters weighed in on both sides, with some expressing genuine dismay at the loss of his longer locks.

The buzz cut revelation comes after a transformative offseason that saw Kelce dedicate himself to an intensive training regimen in Florida, where he reportedly rented a $20 million waterfront mansion to focus entirely on his physical preparation. His days began at dawn with form running drills designed to sharpen his footwork, followed by afternoon weight sessions that pushed his body to new limits, and evening yoga stretches to maintain the flexibility crucial for a player his age.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid couldn’t contain his enthusiasm when discussing Kelce’s offseason transformation with reporters on July 24.

“He looks like he’s 20,” Reid grinned, leaning into his voice recorder.

Adding, “He’s svelte right now. He’s doing a great job. He’s in great shape. You can see he’s been working out.” The longtime coach’s observations align with the visible changes fans have noticed throughout the summer.

The physical transformation hasn’t gone unnoticed by supporters, with many commenting on Kelce’s noticeably different appearance during recent public outings with girlfriend Taylor Swift.

After speculation about significant weight loss dominated headlines earlier in the season, with some reports suggesting he had shed approximately 25 pounds, Kelce addressed the rumors directly during a June news conference.

“Don’t believe all you read on the internet, guys, all right?” he told assembled reporters, though the visual evidence of his dedication to fitness remained undeniable.

One particularly vocal fan expressed approval of the changes, writing, “I’m so happy he’s back to his old look. He looks younger that way.”

The sentiment reflects a broader appreciation for Kelce’s return to the aesthetic that defined his earlier years in the league, when his buzzcut became as recognizable as his jersey number.

The hair transformation coincides with what sources describe as Kelce’s most focused offseason preparation in years.

During a press conference last month, he opened up about his revamped training approach, explaining how he finally had time to concentrate on fundamental aspects of his game that had been neglected in previous years.

“This year, I got some time to really focus on some form running and some things early on in the offseason that I just didn’t have time for last year,” he shared, his eyes bright with confidence. “I’m certainly feeling good. I believe it’s going to pay off.”

While Kelce maintained his rigorous training schedule, he also balanced his preparation with quality time alongside Swift, 35. Their relationship has provided stability during this period of physical and stylistic transformation, with the couple spotted on intimate dinner dates from Miami to Manhattan throughout the summer.

The practical benefits of the shorter hairstyle weren’t lost on observant fans either.

“I’ll miss the hair, but I’m sure it feels so much better now practicing in the heat! And he looks great!” one supporter noted, acknowledging both the aesthetic appeal and functional advantages of the change.

As training camp intensifies and the regular season approaches, Kelce’s buzz cut serves as a visual reminder of his commitment to excellence. The fresh-faced look, combined with his improved physical condition, suggests a player determined to prove that at 35, his best football may still lie ahead.

‘Thought You Guys Didn’t Like That!’: Donald Trump’s Latest ‘Deranged’ Jab at Obama Inadvertently Throws JD Vance Under the Bus

Mon, 07/28/2025 - 13:04

It’s not every day you see a former president behind the wheel of a white Ford Bronco —unless, of course, you’re scrolling President Donald Trump’s Truth Social feed.

In his latest attempt to hijack the headlines, Trump posted a doctored meme of Barack Obama as O.J. Simpson in the infamous slow-speed chase, with himself and a cartoonishly edited JD Vance in hot pursuit. Predictably, the internet erupted.

U.S. President Donald Trump calls on a reporter during a meeting with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in the Oval Office at the White House on July 22, 2025, in Washington, DC. Trump and Marcos are expected to discuss trade tariffs, increasing security cooperation in the face of China’s growing maritime power in the West Philippine Sea and other topics. (Photo by Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)

While many of Trump’s supporters found the meme amusing, those outside MAGA saw it as offensive, childish, and an attempt to deflect from the difficult questions emerging about him and Jeffrey Epstein. Critics quickly condemned the post, which bore the watermark of a pro-Trump account, @grandoldmemes.

This dude is outright obsessed with Obama, and for the mere fact that he's black, basically lmao.

— Kaizer (@KaizerNYC) July 27, 2025

“Utterly disgusting, deranged, and perverted psycho Trump shares fake image of President Obama, portraying him as double-murderer O.J. Simpson fleeing justice,” one user said.

“I like that he used the meme version of JD Vance, but… Release the files, Donald,” someone else chimed in, accusing the president of yet another deflection.

Vice President Vance also faced backlash for reposting the meme.

Ugh such beta cuck behaviour. I thought you guys didn't like that.

— Chisel Pointed Fluff (@DSpinnyd) July 28, 2025

The post landed amid the continuing firestorm over last week’s Wall Street Journal report disclosing that Attorney General Pam Bondi privately informed Trump in May that his name appears numerous times in the sealed Epstein files.

Days before that revelation, the same outlet reported that Trump had once sent Jeffrey Epstein a 50th birthday greeting — complete with a drawing of a naked woman for his birthday book. Trump vehemently denied issuing the letter and filed a massive defamation suit against Journal owner Rupert Murdoch the next day. Since then, Trump’s name surfaced on a contributor’s list for the book, while at least one source claims to have a copy available to hand over to federal investigators if called for.

Trump continues to deny his authorship and has flooded the zone with fresh attacks on Obama, calling him a “traitor” and “criminal,” while falsely claiming that Obama tried to launch a coup against him. This is despite the fact that Obama graciously accepted Trump’s victory and even welcomed Trump to the White House with open arms before his term began to honor the transition of power.

Legal experts say Trump’s efforts to now paint Obama as a criminal are groundless. A recent Supreme Court ruling granted presidents broad immunity for official acts taken while in office—a protection that also extends to former presidents. Any suggestion that Obama could be charged with treason, they say, holds no legal weight.

Still, Trump leaned into the tactic for more than a week, reviving what critics call his signature style: using manufactured controversies to crowd out scandals of his own.

This past week, Trump’s political dilemma ensnared Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, who stood at a podium and accused Obama of orchestrating a “treasonous conspiracy,” claiming the former president used phony intelligence on Russia to undermine Trump’s 2016 election win.

In response, the Justice Department established a new “Strike Force” tasked with digging into Gabbard’s revelations and weighing what legal moves — if any — might come next.

However, Gabbard’s claims were almost immediately debunked as “misleading,” according to FactCheck.org, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that monitors the factual accuracy of statements made by politicians, bureaucrats, and special-interest groups.

A close analysis of the documents found Gabbard’s assessment hinged on fundamental misreadings of the intelligence reports, leading to the conclusion she had conflated the findings of two separate intelligence assessments. One report focused on Russia’s failure to compromise vote-counting infrastructure, and the other documented a well-established influence campaign by Russia aimed at swaying public opinion in Trump’s favor.

Multiple investigations — including those led by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee, Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and even Trump-appointed Special Counsel John Durham — have consistently affirmed the 2017 intelligence community’s assessment of Russian interference, while finding no evidence of vote manipulation or Obama-era misconduct.

Despite Gabbard’s bold assertions and her call for prosecutions, there is no credible evidence that the intelligence assessments contradict any of the earlier findings on the matter. Experts agree that while the Steele dossier — an opposition research document prepared by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele in 2016 — was flawed and the FBI made missteps in its early investigation, the broader conclusion — that Russia interfered to benefit Trump — remains intact and well-documented.

In recent days, as Gabbard’s allegations struggled to gain traction in the press, Trump shifted gears and found a new narrative — this time using the Supreme Court’s immunity ruling as cover for Obama’s “crimes.” Trump claims the decision, which was handed down in a case involving his own alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 election, now shields Obama from prosecution.

“He owes me, Obama owes me big,” Trump said Friday while speaking to reporters outside the White House before departing on a trip to Scotland.

In Trump’s telling, the ruling handed Obama a legal lifeline: “It probably helps him a lot, probably helps him a lot the immunity ruling.” Though he accused Obama of committing “criminal acts,” Trump added that “he has immunity,” suggesting that the very precedent set to benefit him had also spared one of his political enemies — at least for now.

Meanwhile, the nation’s capital has become a virtual hall of mirrors amid Trump’s schemes. One minute, the president is posting memes of Obama as O.J. Simpson. The next, he’s waving off questions about Epstein while suggesting the real story is former President Bill Clinton’s relationship to Epstein.

The machinery of government now seems to run on conspiracy theories, with policy taking a backseat to plot twists. Summer recess wasn’t just about beating the heat; Speaker Mike Johnson slammed the gavel early last week to dodge a vote on the Epstein files.

And with the current president launching bogus accusations against him, Obama, normally a ghost in the political discourse, had to rouse himself just to swat away Trump’s latest fever dream.

“Out of respect for the office of the presidency, our office does not normally dignify the constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House with a response,” the July 22 statement said. “But these claims are outrageous enough to merit one. These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction.”

In the same statement, Obama’s office pointed out that then-Sen. Marco Rubio, now in Trump’s cabinet as Secretary of State, accepted the conclusions of the Russia investigation back in 2020.

“Nothing in the document issued last week undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not successfully manipulate any votes,” Obama’s office said in a statement. “These findings were affirmed in a 2020 report by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee, led by then-Chairman Marco Rubio.”

Former veteran CIA officer Susan Miller also called out Gabbard and the White House for “lying again.”

Meanwhile, Trump’s connection to Epstein, which has long drawn scrutiny, is once again at the center of attention — especially as Trump has yet to release FBI records tied to the deceased financier.

Trump and Epstein were close friends throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, often seen mingling at parties in Palm Beach and Manhattan. Trump once described Epstein as a “terrific guy” who liked women “on the younger side.” Despite distancing himself from Epstein after a supposed 2004 falling-out, flight records show Trump traveled at least once on Epstein’s private jet.

The demand for transparency has grown louder, particularly within Trump’s own base. Critics have pointed out that Trump has the authority to declassify and release the Epstein files at any time, but hasn’t.

Epstein, who pleaded guilty in 2008 to state charges involving underage girls, served just 13 months in jail as part of a lenient plea deal. His case resurfaced in 2019 with federal charges of sex trafficking, but he died by suicide in jail while awaiting trial. Despite the gravity of Epstein’s crimes and Trump’s long friendship with him, Trump has largely skated around public accountability.

Six months into his second term, the Epstein issue continues to loom large. Analysts say Trump’s meme spree is just his latest attempt to steer the national conversation away from a matter that keeps gaining traction.

Whether the meme distracts anyone long enough remains to be seen. But with each new outburst and each unanswered question, pressure continues to mount on Trump to come clean — and stop hiding behind the wheel of another deflection.

‘Why Are You Checking My Bag?’: Outrage Erupts After Kohl’s Employee Runs Downs Black Shopper Demanding Receipts and Ransacking Bag Outside Store In Viral Video

Kohl’s has had a controversial year. The retailer recently fired its CEO, Ashley Buchanan, for questionable conflicts of interest after just one hundred days on the job. Now, the $16 billion retail giant is facing customer backlash for an entirely different reason.

A Black woman in Florida was followed out of a Jacksonville store by a white employee, who rifled through her shopping bag and demanded to see receipt after receipt after receipt.

The customer, who goes by Sunshinebabe222, captured the troubling interaction on video and posted it to TikTok. The clip has nearly one million views just on Sunshinebabe222’s account alone, and commenters are rallying around the woman — and also sharing their own horror stories of racial profiling.

In the clip, posted on July 24, Sunshinebabe222 had already exited the department store and was making her way to the parking lot when a store associate, named Shelby, stopped her and began frantically digging through her shopping bag. “You’re saying I need a receipt for what? Why are you checking my bag?” asked the rattled customer, who had bought pants for her young son and a few other items.

“Ma’am, I just need the receipt,” the employee responded, and Sunshinebabe222 eagerly handed it over, proving she paid for the pants — but that wasn’t enough. The employee went on to imply the customer had shoplifted sweaters instead: “There were sweaters, they said.”

“I paid them for the sweaters! I paid her! Do you see the sweaters on there?” the increasingly upset customer said. When she asked for the employee’s name, Shelby responded, “You’re good,” and quickly walked away, but not before ripping off the bottom of the receipts. It was “so she couldn’t do the [customer] survey. They always circle and tell you to fill it out online with the cashier’s name who checked you out!” explained a person in the comments.

The video quickly blew up, with many sympathizers stating that retailers, “are NOT supposed to do this. Call corporate.” Another said, “Most retail stores don’t let regular employees apprehend [alleged] thieves.”

Under the new interim CEO, Michael Bender, who is also Black, the company has continued to bolster its security efforts, including the hiring of more loss prevention staff; however, it’s unclear whether the employee in the video was a trained loss prevention officer or held another position, such as cashier.

Retail employees in Florida are entitled to detain customers suspected of shoplifting, provided they have probable cause, such as directly observing someone steal an item. Mere suspicion is not enough, and many supporters want justice for Sunshinebabe222.

“Follow her back in and return everything while on the phone with CORPORATE,” urged one person. “I didn’t hear an apology from that girl!” wrote another, followed up by “Refund on everything!”

Another noted, “People be taking some jobs way too serious because she did all that, and didn’t even take anything.”
